Be extremely cautious with this office's billing practices and financial policies.The clinic openly acknowledged to me that when patients overpay at the point of service because an insurance deductible was satisfied, they do not notify the patient or issue an immediate refund once the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) arrives. Instead, they quietly hold your money as an internal credit to apply toward future visits. I only learned about my credit balance after the fact. If a patient never returns, there appears to be no proactive effort to return those overcollected funds. To make matters worse, I was quoted an out-of-pocket rate of $75.52 without the office running my active insurance coverage, and when I declined to pay an unverified amount, I was told I would be charged a $30 penalty fee for walking out. Holding patient overpayments without disclosure, refusing to verify active benefits at check-in, and threatening penalty fees when a patient questions charges reflects unacceptable business practices in my opinion. Check your EOB statements carefully, audit your receipts, and monitor your money closely if you choose to use this provider. I will not be returning. read more
