I have been here three times and each time has been wonderful. Granted, I'm a dancer, so I LOVE the fact that they have music and dancing basically every single night. Different styles, too! Bachata, tango, Greek music, oriental sometimes, salsa, kizola...If dancing isn't your thing you can always watch and enjoy the atmosphere.
I love that it's a full-fledged restaurant where you also can dance - why choose just a dance studio or just a restaurant? You can have both!
Plus, I can sincerely say that the staff are some of the friendliest I have experienced in all of Stockholm. The waiters - and the owner - quickly make you feel like you're best friends and that you have a bunch of inside jokes. I always feel welcomed. They're very accommodating too - last night my friend asked if she could get a to-go box for her salad, and the waiter asked what time she was leaving (she planned on dancing) so he could put it in the fridge for her until then. Considering it's not even 'normal' in Sweden to ask for a to-go box, that was super sweet and great service in my opinion!
The restaurant itself is pretty small but very nicely decorated and it feels classy. The food isn't oh-my-god-amazing, but it is tasty and not outrageously expensive (normal prices for a downtown Stockholm restaurant), so what's not to love?
Maybe Grammofon shouldn't be at the very top of your restaurant bucket list if you don't care about dancing. There are better places. But for what it offers - which is quite niche - I think it's the best!
