After being rejected prior at other restaurants due to a lack of reservations, we were pleasantly surprised and happy to know there were many seats available at this restaurant. We were also pleasantly surprised when the host told us about their gourmet buffet. The upstairs is an ala cart Japanese restaurant while the downstairs area is devoted to their buffet. The buffet offerings included everything from raw oysters, sushi and sashimi, to delicious warm entrées like mushrooms and garlic and sautéed bok choy along with fried rice and fried noodles. The salad offerings were fresh and absolutely delicious. They have cold plates for the cold food options and heated plates for the hot food entrées. The service staff was amazingly kind and helpful. All reasons we would definitely come back to this establishment.

You get unlimited drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) for the AYCE dinner buffet. The buffet is divided into a few sections: wok, hot food, sushi / raw seafood, grilled food (meats and seafood), and dessert. The food selection for hot food weren't that great in my opinion and the shrimps that I took from the hot food weren't cooked thoroughly (i.e. it was slightly raw shrimp). The grill food was decent. I got the salmon and scallops, and they were cooked to order. I really like the dessert section and I got ice cream (e.g., black sesame and ube flavor), poffertjes, macaron, and spekkoek.
