I worked with Derek Holland at Premier Roofing on a roof repair issue…read more I trusted Derek and final bill was well above what i would i have thought possible. Over $20,000 for a repair not a new roof, and they only did part of the roof due to rain issues. Based on my final charges I have a feeling i was taken advantage of.

Exceptional Roofing Company! Highest recommendation…read more We have lived in the low country for 21 years. We are hardworking Yankee transplants and have "dealt" with a lot of contractors here for various $$sucking projects of home ownership. Some have been terrific with good work ethic and reliability...some, not so much. South Shore Roofing was reliable (quick response with a detailed written quote, follow-up, transparent about possible up-charging like rotten plywood replacement, etc) . They were on-time for job with a very hard-working and polite crew, and spic-and-span clean up.) I also think part of their success relies on efficiency. Quick, detailed quote. 2 day job (material delivery on day 1, roof demo and re-do on day 2. ) Ours took 3 days because of our roof pitch, but, importantly the project manager kept us apprised each step of the way. Then, without notice, the day after the job a "QA" supervisor came by to pick up some left over materials and do an On-Roof inspection. He was here for over an hour and appeared to be thorough in his quality evaluation. it rained torrentially overnight, so we were very relieved they got the job done so fast! Their price was very competitive, but more importantly, they say what they do, do what they say, and keep lines of communication open since the best laid plans always have wrinkles. We are fussy but reasonable and we give South Shore Roofing our highest recommendation!

TRANSPARENCY IN ROOFING…read more The faces of Whipple Roofing, LLC are Stan 'Stosh' Surey and Brian Gouty. The knowledge, experience, and integrity they and their GAF-certified crew bring lays to waste the adage that 'everyone experiences at least one bad roofer in their lifetime.' We no longer have to with Whipple Roofing. Stan is always (!) one text, email, or phone call away (which is more than I can say about my insurance company regarding my April 26 hail storm claim). Yet also your gift as Stan is more than willing, and capable to kindly, and with great patience walk you through this confusing and challenging process. In the end, yours is an aesthetically and structurally superb roof covered by a consumer-oriented contract and warranty that I suspect is superior to this area.
