Specialties
At Luna Nutrition Therapy, we offer compassionate, personalized medical nutrition therapy and counseling for individuals and families, with a whole-health approach that goes beyond just food. Whether you're supporting a family member with ARFID, navigating disordered eating yourself, or looking to create more balanced habits as a family, we're here to help in a way that feels safe, realistic, and tailored to your life.
We specialize in working with neurodivergent clients, and bring a trauma-informed, weight-inclusive lens to all of our work. We’ll explore not just food, but also the foundations that support well-being—like sleep, stress, movement, and nervous system regulation—so changes are sustainable and empowering.
Whether you're an individual or a parent looking for support for your child or family, we’ll work together to build habits that truly support your body, brain, and life!
History
Established in 2024.
Luna Nutrition Therapy was born from a deep desire to create a truly inclusive, neurodivergent-affirming space for nutrition support. I began my eating disorder career in a treatment center, where I saw firsthand how often neurodivergent individuals were misunderstood, othered, or left behind in care. Over time—and through my own experiences as a neurodivergent person—I realized the need for a practice that fully honors the unique needs, strengths, and challenges of neurodivergent folks. Luna Nutrition Therapy was created to help fill that gap. My work is trauma-informed, compassionate, and centered around helping individuals and families build sustainable, affirming relationships with food, movement, and their bodies.
Meet the Business Owner: Natalie S.
Hi! I’m the founder of Luna Nutrition Therapy—a neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed nutrition practice rooted in compassion, curiosity, and positioning the client as the expert of their own body/experiences. I was inspired to start this practice after working in eating disorder treatment and seeing how often neurodivergent clients were overlooked or misunderstood. As a neurodivergent person myself, I wanted to create a space where clients feel seen, respected, and supported in a way that honors their unique needs. I also saw a major gap in care in smaller communities. While cities like Boston may have many resources, small towns often don’t—which can leave people struggling without support. I started Luna Nutrition Therapy with the hope to bring high-quality, affirming care to the people who need it most, right in their own community!
