I can corroborate a lot of the one-star reviews. Unlike what some would want you to believe, Fragomen is not a beacon of light for immigrants. This company's primary purpose seems to be to push out applications for corporations at a high volume using the most cost effective methods possible. Naturally, if your business model is "petition assembly line," providing exemplary communication, care and customer service to each foreign national (even if many are anxious to hear answers about their fate) is probably not a high priority, or even a possibility. In order to remain "cost-effective," this office primarily employs young recent college graduates as staff members/case processors who generally have little experience in or knowledge of immigration law but are expected to handle high volumes. These millennials tend to do a lot of the legwork when it comes to handling applications, which explains the slow response rates, lack of competence, apathy, lack of professionalism, etc, you're reading about in the negative reviews. Not to mention due to what I'm assuming are management issues, turnover rate seems to be high so your case may change hands multiple times.
