Luckily, I could not have found a better guide in that than with Janet. Janet is first and foremost, easy to talk to. She is calm, safe, welcoming and present. On the flip side, she expects you to show up for yourself and participate, by asking the right questions and keeping you on track. What I most appreciated was how Janet could tune into my body. Even when I was unable to find the words, she could read my face or my body language and use that as my voice. On the days where not everything came out as emotional word vomit, it was helpful. I came to Janet with family issues from the past. She helped unearth the roots, help me look at them (painful but necessary!) and make sense of it all. A gift. Ultimately, I stopped going to therapy because I had clear goals and reached those goals. I endlessly thank Janet for her help and cannot recommend her enough. If you are feeling stuck or unsure what to do with what you are currently faced with, start with Janet. And as practical advice, give it no less than 3 sessions and be optimistic. Its worth it!
