We booked Colorado Sound for 1 day to capture rhythm tracks on 3 of our tunes. We LOVED it there-…read moreBreezy the receptionist was so easy to work with and very informative throughout the process. The team setting up was super friendly and we felt like we'd been there many times before-even though it was our first time. Very comfortable and relaxed which really helped with performance. Our engineer, Josh was so efficient and good at what he did, it was really neat to watch him work and care so much about the quality of our project. We were given a tour of another studio they have for live performances and hope to record in there as well. We got great tracks and great memories. We are planning on booking again to do some overdubs and vocals! Highly recommend.

I spent $11k at this studio and they lost all my music files. I had even tried to set up an…read moreappointment to go back in and transfer the files to an external hard drive after the sessions. The problem was that when they returned my call for what was to be a small transfer session, it was 2-3 weeks after their system had crashed and the music files were lost. My intuition was right to call them. For the record, I requested half back since I had waited to do the backup. Friendly reminder: MAKE SURE YOU GET A BACK-UP OF EVERY SESSION. Briel 10/24/15 Positive Update on Colorado Sound Many years later, we were able to go back into the studio here and get a much better product than the first sessions. Colorado Sound took the time to open up their doors so we could finish up the tracks. We were able to record a great Chorus in their A Room, which is a must for any pro musical project. The sound engineer, Jesse, was able to bring in a high-quality level of skill to this sessions. Great production work on the drum beats that filled in the rest of the Halloween song, "Creepin In" He also made changes to the audio I did not ask for, in a negative direction, which I noticed during playback. Also, the owner never checked in with me again so he only fixed the error to get me to change my review. I don't feel good in the end, just moderate.

Excellent! A unique approach to Asian food and noodles. Very tasty and flavorful. #########read more

I needed some super8 film transferred to digitally editable HD files, and I thought using the (not…read moreto be named) largest camera store in Colorado to do the transfer was a good idea. Turns out I was wrong. You can find a lengthy review of my experience here: https://www.yelp.com/user_details_reviews_self?userid=sreVHMucelYx2qFpgp4DMA I set out to find another video house to do the transfer and many of them seemed to just be the website with different domain names (same pricing, same interface, some times even the same stock photos, etc.) and all were out of state. Then I discovered RMAVP. Not only was it a local Colorado business their site explained in great detail how they transfer film using a sprocketless, frame by frame process that uses LED light (so no film burn) and no sprocket damage (over time film shrinks and using it in an old projector can damage it). So I left a message over a weekend, and the next Monday their Sales Exec (Doug Z) called me back. He explained what they needed (the footage and a hard drive in exFAT format) and answered all of my questions about the transfer process, color correction, film grain reduction, etc. Since I would be using the footage for a short film and had lots of editing software he advised I skip color correction and film grain reduction so I would just have the raw footage, which is the best and most honest answer possible. I dropped the footage off and was told it would be about two weeks. Less than 48 hours later I got an email saying my footage was ready. When I went to pick up the footage Doug gave me a tour of the entire facility - the sound studio, two green screen studios (it seems they once filmed a zebra in one of them), the transfer room, shipping etc. The footage is flawless. So, the transfer was fast, well done, inexpensive compared to the alternatives, and I got a tour - and I know where to shoot if I need a professional studio with green screens in Colorado. I honestly can't believe RMAVP exists, but I don't think there's any place between L.A. and Chicago that could support a place like this except Denver. When I said this to Doug he replied in the most Colorado manner possible - "Well, someone's got to do it". Do it they did, and very, very well.

Colorado Sports Video: Worst people to work for and get work…read moredone from! (If you want good quality, stay away) Heberto is probably the worst "boss" I've ever worked for! Prime example of who I would NEVER want to be like as an owner of a business. (Waste of a good business plan) They have to be the worst people to work for, terrible management. The equipment given was well outdated for the minimum of $200 a game (1 camera.) They give faulty equipment and expected us to fix it on the spot. When they fired me for the camera equipment messing up, they never paid me for the 3 games /2 weekends before that (you get paid monthly.) The quality of the videos were sub par compared to other companies that rely on actual quality and performance of their videos. Yes they may be good for play making but honestly a big loss in business revenue when coaches could be reselling them and actually get a view of all kids, not just the main few running the plays. The service is also pretty bad, the management barely speak English and they aren't friendly what so ever. I can't speak about that about other employees but the company that runs it sure knows how to make it so they make the most money and the clients get something not even close to being worth $200 minimum; they make it so when the videos are given, they half-ass it and focus on profit for themselves.
