We have a company 401k set up at Schwab. I tried to transfer money from a Schwab account to the…read more401k. After 40 minutes on the phone with a specialist, I had to write them a letter, give them a week to process then call them back to confirm the transfer that takes several days. After that I have to call back to do distributions into accounts that again takes several days to process after doing the distributions. I have spent hours on the phone to do a simple deposit and distribution and it has taken weeks to process the request. The process is confusing and painful. Schwab has a separate division for this and the phone consultants have to message someone to tell them what to do. Do not use Schwab for 401k plans Bill Stotts
