Excellent thick crust pizza! Our family loves it! Haven't tried the thin, so I can't rate that.

Walk-in vending machine for the 200th review- all to replace Apu!…read more http://www.lyricspedia.com/simpsons/who-needs-the-kwik-e-mart-lyrics/ I wanted to find a interesting business for the my great landmark in yelping. (I find this funny because I did not pay attention to what I reviewed for the 100th) The business was presented to me as the first self serve mini-market in St Louis. Think of this as part mini-market & part walk-in vending machine. No teller to greet you, thank you or wish you a good day. Just a faceless black box to scan your items then take your account info, credit card or foldable cash (no coin). While the 24 hour (with access to building) convenient ability of buying sandwiches, salads, chips, drinks, ice cream, gum and cereal sounds great... I still feel like I am cheating someone out of a job. I decided to buy a pack of gum with no price on it, but it was $1.99 plus tax & two packs came up on the screen. I decided that was telling me I did not need the gum. The $3.99 salad (pic) looked better than anything I have seen come out of a vending machine. The ice cream was only $1.39. I just keep thinking I am going to see "The Simpsons" episode with Apu being replaced by a black box. What is going to happen to all those babies? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eight_Misbehavin'

One of the things that I no longer take for granted living by Las Vegas is that it is so easy to…read morebuy a beer. Halfway across the continent in St. Louis Missouri only a few miles north of the Amhiezer Busch Brewery, one of the perks about living by Vegas was a luxury. As I have mentioned in numerous reviews, I greatly enjoy closing up the night with a bullet beer. If you are unfamiliar with a bullet beer, they are the 25 ounce can and 32 ounce bottle. It just relaxes me in the same way that watching TV, drinking hot cocoa, or whatever it is that relaxes other people. Where we stayed for seven nights in the 7th at Washington Street Embassy Suites next to America's Center there were no 7-Elevens or Walgreens that sells alcohol. The three options for beer were Schnuck's, Olive Market, and James Henry Pavillion. On account of the experience where customers harrased me for money in front of the useless cashier, I don't count Cupola, which by the way did not sell the bullet beer I like. James Henry Pavillion was the closest convenience and liquor store to the hotel. They were my beer hookup. I patronized this business two times. On each visit I'd buy a certain number of bullet cans that averaged out to one per night. I was impressed by their alcohol selection. By the way they also sell food that includes Boar's Head. At any rate, I was further impressed by the fact that the only true liquor and convenience store in downtown St. Louis sold the beer at competitive prices. For crying out loud, the bullet beer here is less expensive than a Walmart Supercenter. This is the first time that I ever saw a 32 ounce can of Miller Lite. For $2.06 after taxes it was a steel. Drinking it was an even greater steel. If you are like me, and appreciate ending the night with a 32 ounce cold one and your downtown hotel room has a refrigerator, I suggest walking (speedwalking at night) to James Henry Provisions and stocking up on the 32 ounce cold ones. The hard to find product that I brought here greatly added to my quality of night in St. Louis.

I have a few favorites there and love to come in while their working to have a little chat while I grab a drink. I only ever only had one problem and when I talked to the manager she was quick to review my complaint and took action. Would definitely recommend.

I don't write many reviews on gas stations, but felt I had to for this one. We were on a trip from…read moreIND to AR and stopped here for gas. First pump didn't read our card. Pulled over to another- it didn't read our card. Saw others having the same experience. Finally the third one pump seemed to work. Both of us were out at the pump due to so many problems and we are positive that we pressed the lower price selection- 2.229/gal. About 1/2 way in to the fill up we noticed that it was filling up at the 2.309 price- the second option. What? It was only 8cents more a gal and we stopped our pump so only 90 some cents difference. But I went in just to let the clerk know of our experiences. She told us yes the first two pumps we tried are out of their security camera view so they are only prepay. I asked are they marked- because we didn't see it. She said no, but people figure it out. And when I told her about the problem on the last pump (#1) she said no one had mentioned that. I could speak to a manager but they would not be available for 10-15 minutes. Not worth the hassle for the 90 cents so we left... but it makes you wonder. In our frustration did we press the wrong selection? Or is there some scam going on? We are 99% positive we pressed the right selection... but we could be wrong. But put signs on your pumps that don't accept cards and need to be pre paid. This was in the early afternoon. Just not a good experience. I'm marking it down because of the lack of signs on the two pumps but going to leave it at a 3 just in case it was our error on selection of the pump but wanted to include that in my review as something for buyers to be wary of.
