Ludlow house is super comfy and inviting - Luigi is amazing! Always takes care of me and my friends. Top 3 things to note: 1. It's a little hard to find on Ludlow, it's not obvious what it is as you walk by. But that's all SoHo house! 2. There is plenty of sitting and hang out stops that serve different experiences! There's a patio that has amazing decor, multiple floors, and quieter areas if you need to work. 3. I wouldn't say the food is amazing, but the drinks and desserts are SO good! Definitely recommend!

Eh... The Ludlow House is a sexy vibe from the moment you walk in and I get the exclusivity that this place is trying to convey here but, The Grotto experience was just "eh". The food was especially tasteless, so much so I had to ask for salt (which they gave me an empty wooden grinder) and pepper AND hot sauce. I looked around and saw a lot of half eaten plates on tables filled with pancakes and scrambled eggs. Me; I ate every bit of that $16 meatless quesadilla (yep! Scrambled eggs, mushrooms and cheese, sliced in tiny triangles!). Decor was beautiful, but we were cold by a door with a merciless draft! We played ring-a-round the roses at the table until we decided to just hang our coat on the handle to block the wind. Service was fine and we ended up paying almost $75 for one drink, one sparkling water, a quesadilla and smoked salmon. Eh, you win some, you lose some.

Ludlow house was fun. If you know someone with a membership And they invite you take them up on that offer! The food was okay. Not the worst thing in the world, but not the best. Service is great!

It was pretty busy so I sat on the floor, but this was the view of the stage

Went here for Maude Latour's listening party last weekend. Really nice venue, lots of cushioned seats, and a small stage at the back

Host at front hasn't learned to address women respectfully. French restaurant was so pretty, but the mussels proved suspicious the next day

One of my fav houses. Very much a vibe here. Staff is nice and members are more laid back than other houses in Meatpacking, Miami and LA.

Once I saw my friend John there. Weird, he doesn't even live in New York. We had a beer (or 2). Like this place.

From the kind gentleman holding open the front door to the refined hosts at the entrance it was nothing short of wonderful. My head was on a SWIVEL ready for someone bursting through a door with an axe. I was completely lost looking for "Room #4," and began to spiral. I soon realized that I just took the wrong elevator, and found the room pretty easy once I took the correct elevator lol. Once I gathered my composure and found Room #4, I could finally appreciate how stunningly beautiful this place was. It is like an Oligarch's MANSION straight from the 19th century. It's tasteful luxury, when luxury meant more than just cookie cutter modern architecture. They had an open bar and some bomb horderves all night, with my favorite being this fresh tuna on top of a cucumber. I ate like 30 of them. Me and the lady in a tuxedo walking around with the tray became well acquainted. I honestly have no real idea what this place is, but I imagine it's a members only club where the rich and famous gather to make important decisions. That's the vibe at least. Kinda eerie. I was a guest of a member during the 18-inch snow storm, so I wore my $500 dollar suede Danner lights (Made in the USA) to manage the snow. Upon entry, I was informed by the staff that, due to the suede being too light, it looked too much like Timberland boots, which are banned. I was professionally whisked to a backroom, where I was offered to wear black loafers 3 sizes too large if I wanted to make my appointment. I spent the rest of my time skipping through the venue in order to not trip over myself, wearing massively oversized shoes. I would have been okay with this footwear restriction if it was universally enforced, but there were plenty of people in the club wearing duck boots, metal hook leather hiking boots, and even the same type of boots of a slightly darker shade. Apparently, the shoe shade restriction was not something members are aware about (the no sneakers restriction is well known). I have previously been a guest here with positive experiences. However, today I was put in an illogically unsafe experience, forced to wear loaner shoes 3 sizes too large, because $500 lighter suede boots are deemed less classy than duck boots for being too"Timberland like" during a snow storm.

Afterwards, we went to the second floor for dinner. The dining area was very grand. We were seated right away. Even though it was peak dining hours, the space was pretty empty. Service throughout the meal was exceptional. The wait staff was so attentive and friendly. The food on the other hand was not the best. It stated off strong with a bread basket. The bead was warm and tasty with delicious butter on the side to spread on it. For my meal, I ordered a French onion soup and lobster tail Cobb salad. The FRENCH ONION SOUP was unfortunately quite watery and bland. The LOBSTER TAIL COBB SALAD was ok. There were a good amount of toppings on the salad and the portion was huge. But the main star, the lobster tail, was ice cold, rubbery and also very bland. All in all, even though the space is beautiful and service is impeccable, the food is just ok - really wish there was a bit more flavor to the dishes.

It looked like the elite Manhattan 5th Ave crowd would frequent this with its privacy. The club has an initiation fee of 10k from what I hear. Honestly, I felt like their service to reciprocal members was distasteful. Several times staff were like who are you in an accusatory manner when we had permission to be there. It left a really bad taste in my mouth. We walked into this building and the lady up front pressed the button to go up to the top of the building. The place has 2 restaurants. The top restaurant has an amazing view of the city from the terrace. I would have loved to sit out there and eat if it wasn't winter and wasn't closed. The bottom restaurant offered a pretty overpriced breakfast. I paid 20 bucks for toast and a coffee (which is insane). The toast did have an awesome strawberry jam. The place also has a nice lounge area, movie theater, and a hair studio. The place has a gym that has a great view of New York. The place doesn't offer a lot of gym equipment, however.
