I'm so glad I stopped in! This is a beautiful library for the community. They literally have…read moresomething for all ages. I took my toddler just to explore and see what they have to offer for his age range and I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the amount of resources. When I pulled into the parking lot, there were plenty of places to park. I also noticed a place to charge electric cars! Nice touch to a modern day facility. There is a blood pressure station as soon as you walk in. I tried to check mine, but my toddler wouldn't let me sit still long enough. When then walked to the front desk and they showed us to the children's area. It was super inviting with multiple stations to learn and play! There were coloring sheets, puzzles, legos, blocks, and so much more. I also loved the unique reading areas with a huge selection of books! We checked out four of them! I loved the outdoor play area. It's so kid friendly and clean. The staff were absolutely amazing! They were helpful. Matter of fact, they selected the books for me to check out. My toddler got a little fussy and they didn't hesitate to assist. I appreciate them for that. This will definitely be somewhere we add to our weekly routine. Love it!

One of the things I really enjoy is the variety of classes they offer every day. I love the Silver Sneakers exercise classes as well as the water aerobics classes. The instructors for these classes are outstanding. The employees have all been so nice and accommodating. I am there almost every day. I feel that the membership fees are very affordable which allows families to enjoy the activities at the Center. From my observance, the center seems to be well run and maintained well. No rif-raf. That is comfortable environment for everyone. Also, a very clean facility. I love they have a dress code which is something young people should be subjected to. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience.

No matter when I visit, it never seems crowded. There are tennis courts, a pond (with ducks), a pavilion, a playground, and a big open field that's perfect for playing. It's also the home of a historical home. The John Gray house is one of the oldest brick residences in Shelby County. It was originally located in Eads, but was moved to Municipal Park in 1989 for preservation. I've never been inside; every time I've been at the park, its doors have been locked. After a bit of enthusiastic jumping up and down (I'm short, and the windows are high up), I can report that the house is furnished as it probably would have been when it was built in the mid-1800s. Municipal Park is right next to the Germantown public library, which makes it a perfect place to catch up on your reading. The open field is perfect for picnics, and the playground has a huge jungle gym and swings.

The police officer asked me multiple times if I was ok and if I needed anything. I was so grateful for this police officer. I live in a suburb outside of Memphis. I have called the police in the past in the suburb that I live in for domestic issues. It was a joke how poorly my situation was handled by the suburban police officers. I was born and raised in Memphis, Hickory Hill. It does break my heart to see what has happened with the level of crime in Memphis. I can't imagine what all the Memphis police staff deals with every day and night. If I need any assistance again, I won't bother calling the police where I live. It honestly wouldn't do any good. I would call the Memphis Police. I know that they would do everything in their legal power to help me.

The restrooms are disgusting, no paper, shit broken off wall, horrid! Broken chairs, sick people, no restroom or water, kids with nothing to do, several hours to wait for appointments, and overall a humiliating experience. Tennessee is embezzling federal funds and not spending on services. Shame!
