I had booked a flying lesson at tessel air. Tessel air is the company based at paracentrum texel. What i liked: - flying across the island gives you great perspectives of the island and surrounding. We even saw some seals sunbathing. - you fly with the instructor sitting next to you. I was able to do a few manouvres What can be improved: - routedirection and instructions up front. Tip: to get there, ensure you use postweg as destination in your routeplanner. I ended up at a dirt road using my routeplanner on the hoofdweg. read more

I bought a Tandem Skydive certificate for Paracentrum Texel at a charity auction. Although I started out a bit nervous when going for my jump, I was quickly put at ease when I saw the operation and interacted with the staff. They provided English paperwork for me to complete and made sure I understood all the instructions during the training phase. The entire staff is professional and the whole experience was terrific. Luckily it was clear and beautiful for my jump. Being able to see the whole island and the mainland during the free fall and under the canopy made the experience that much better. If you have ever thought about skydiving, I can highly recommend Paracentrum Texel for your experience. Plus, a weekend on the island is a great way to relax! read more
