I typically don't respond to unsolicited phone calls. But I worked for a research company decades ago and I appreciate how important (yet difficult) it can be to gather research. In any event, perhaps it was naive on my part to think that because I wasn't asked for a SS#, or birthdate, or checking account number, etc., the survey was "safe." The person asking me questions was polite and focused. I was frustrated at times simply because I thought the insistence on "Agree or Disagree" and "Yes or No" responses was not appropriate for questions that really required an "It Depends" response. I probably should have done some research before agreeing to the telephone survey. The name that came up when I got the call was Luce Research; yet the gentleman who called said he was with Fallon Research. Hmmm read more

I'm sure they're a quick startup gathering information to sell. They do this by skirting do not call lists. As soon as enough people are annoyed, tehy'll close shop and open up in another state. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. This company ALWAYS calls every day even though I asked them to put us in the DO NOT CALL list a lot more than MORE THAN ONCE. They are sleazy, and do not respect your privacy. If you get a call from them, HANG UP. When find a legal way to sue them, I will. If there is a class action lawsuit against this company, I want to be part of it. Any business I find that uses this sleazy & disrespectful company for any reason has lost my respect and my business as well. I know for a fact that Centurylink is very easily capable of filtering these spam/scam calls out but they simply don't. Why? read more

Call daily. Refuse to stop. Perks. Call middle of the night. Blocked them . . .then spoofed number

I'm on the DNC and they keep calling me from different numbers. I block a number and they call me from another. This is annoying and harassing. It interferes my work life and my personal life schedule. read more

i keep recieving random hang-up robo calls from this company.. it's very un-professional and very rude business.. and then thinking that you ave missed a call, you call the number back and they tell you to go to their website and enter your number to unsubscrie !!! why should i have to do that when since i don't do business with this company.. read more

Legit? I dunno... When I asked the representative for more information about their firm before I gave out personal information (like my BIRTHDATE), she promptly hung up. read more

Got a call today asking about who I am going to vote for in the election. Ok that is all well and good. The next series of questions went on to ask questions that were clearly aimed at gathering enough information to figure out how to organize a campaign to get my vote.. The problem with this is that we all have a right to our opinions on topics weather I agree with someone else doesn't matter. What matters is that Politicians are supposed to listen to us and address our issues. They are not supposed to manipulate us to get our vote. This is Backwards from how It was designed by the founding fathers. How about when your in office hire the call center to see how we feel about things and then respond with solutions.. Politicians don't care they just want the vote!! When they are in office you cant get ahold of them.. when they run for office they want to call you at dinner time and figure out how to manipulate you!!!! This is much of the problem!! read more

Push-polling outfit. Contacted me with a lovely poll, which basically had me spending ten minutes having to choose between such options as: * Do you believe in personal freedom, or do you think that government should regulate everything? * Do you believe that it is hard to be a small business in San Francisco with all the taxes and regulations, or do you think that rigid government regulation of every aspect of every business, large and small, is absolutely necessary? * Do you think that you should be tolerant of other people's lifestyle choices, such as smoking flavored tobacco products, or should the government enforce rigid conformity upon all citizens? * Don't you think that there are better things to do with our elected officials' time than to pick on the poor tobacco companies? Funny too, because I got a nearly-identically-worded automated poll from some other outfit the day before. The tobacco companies really do seem rather nervous. read more

I've worked there and had the best experience being surrounded by a staff that was not only focused on completing tasked assignments, but also cared deeply for their employees. They are extremely flexible with hours and compassionate people to surround yourself by.I will miss this company deeply. Side note: Being put on the "do not call list" is made for solicitors or other company's trying to sell you whatever it is they're selling or get personal information, such as bank information;otherwise fraudulent companies that are meant to con you, etc. Luce Research is nothing of the sort, I encourage everyone to take a gander at the website for Luce. They are simply a research company for statistics and the like. read more

I was promised the survey would only last 10 minutes, and it did. I have only done a couple of surveys before, but I am glad I did this one. The person that interviewed me was really nice and wasnt pushy at all. If i didnt know the answer to a question she would ask me if I was sure and then move on. My experience was great compared to others, but I am a glass half full kind of guy. You guys can always call me! read more

Just got called by Luce for a survey. All the choices were extreme and polar opposite. Clearly leading to a desired outcome. I stopped half way through. read more

Luce research are phone spammers. Their cold-callers are aggressive and relentless. When told not to call back, the Luce Research phone rep stated that she had every right to call and would be calling back the next day and the day after and every day after that if she liked. Companies that skirt the law and ignore consumers that take the time to put their phone numbers on DO NOT CALL lists should not be in the business of working with people. I would not recommend Luce Research to any reputable company that wants to maintain the integrity of its brand. read more
