Lucas was recommended to us by a long time friend of my husband when we decided to sell our home and move out of state. We lived in Murrieta at the time, a 1.5-2 hour drive from Lucas' office, but he was still more than happy to come out to meet us. We only had about a month to get our house sold and move across country before my husband started his new job, and Lucas was very upbeat and encouraging, and made the process seem far less daunting. He came to our initial meeting informed about the area and having done research on our comps and pricing trends in our community. Lucas has a great system set up, and brought in a stager, professional photographer, and inspector at no additional cost to us. We really feel this elevated our home and made the process run very smoothly. He was in constant contact with us in regards to where we were in the process, next steps, needed documents, etc. He made the trek to Murrieta numerous times to ensure things were going well and being taken care of correctly, always with a smile on his face. We had multiple offers within a few days of listing our house, and Lucas was great at helping us navigate through the process. He took the time to talk to lenders and agents to ensure the validity of each offer, and explained all the pros and cons of each offer. We had a lot of questions about the best route to go and he patiently answered all of them. We were referred to Lucas Davis by our lender, and it is truly a blessing. As first time home buyers my husband and I were blinded by what we thought we wanted, and overwhelmed at the cost of everything. To preface my review I will talk about our hellish experience with our first realtor who will remain nameless. Our first realtor was a NIGHTMARE! Taking us to places we couldn't afford or "just a cinch of the belt out of our price range. You could totally make this happen". He would not give us details of any of the places prior to viewing them. AND some not even what we were looking for (need or wanted). RARELY able to get in contact with him in a reasonable time. He would only focus on the sale. He had no remorse about his attitude of just getting the sale done. He was so cheesy and "used car salesman (no offense to used car sales men) like that we got so frustrated that we gave up and kept renting. Our experience with Lucas was the EXACT opposite. EXACT OPPOSITE. Lucas is the epitome of a Customer first realtor! He is an absolutely remarkable!!! He is a down to earth, genuine guy, who cares about each client as individuals and not dollar signs. He was always available. Kept us completely informed during the ENTIRE process. You can just tell he has a great rapport with other realtors. Which doesn't sound like much but was very beneficial when needed. When my wife and I would go look at homes with Lucas, he was able to spot certain aspects of the home that may be come a nuisance/problem for a family with young kids. AND the way he is able to pin point our needs with out us having to vocalize them was astonishing and a little frightening at times. But such an exceptional trait to have in your realtor. He made our home buying experience an exciting adventure and not a dreadful consequence of growing up. His ability to put together the best offer for us with out having to go back forth in negotiating is a true blessing. We got our first offer excepted within 24 hours. Just days after our loan financier said "don't get discouraged if you don't get a loan excepted for a few months, that's just the way it is". Lucas is a realtor who is passionate about his job and selling our house for top dollar! Lucas was helpful and stepped up during open houses. He went the extra mile to point out key features we loved about the home and followed up with all viewings. We were looking to move out of California but needed the most money out of our house. We followed the market and were able to get more for our home by waiting to list until after the holidays. Even though that meant Lucas would have to wait longer to see any profit from the sale of our home.
