Wonderful gallery with unusual art. We were there a year ago and were very impressed with several pieces, and when back in Santa Fe this year we made this gallery a priority. Great array of beautiful products, but was extremely uncomfortable and did not feel welcome, me and my family were followed around the store and stared at by the employees. Edit: My review is not fake like this person claims. He sent me direct messages telling me that I was lying and that they are reporting me to yelp. They have some really neat pieces in here ranging from creative lamps, wall decorations, eclectic mirrors and a variety of wood furniture. They also have mesmerizing wind sculptures. Prices, while high, weren't in the impossibly high category (some items in the hundreds, some in the thousands) but I think you would want a nice place to show off anything you did buy. Overall I really liked most of what I saw and need to save up for a wind sculpture...someday! read more

Hands down our favorite gallery on Canyon Road. Every piece has been thoughtfully curated and displayed. Many of the offerings are functional as well as beautiful. There are very few painters represented here so if that is your thing this may not be your place. If you are a lover of clean lines and simplicity in your art you won't want to miss this place! read more

The service received when we placed our order was excellent. I rated this review as Good (not excellent) because of sloppy packing. The item that was shipped to us was quite heavy. Fortunately the box did protect the item and no damage was encountered. However, it was sloppily sealed. The top of the cardboard box was held together by four copper staples and plastic tape. Two of the staples were undone upon arrival. This was caused by use of an inadequate narrow plastic sealing tape and the tape being sloppily applied to the side of the box. In summary, the vendor did not provide adequate package sealing for a very expensive and heavy item. The sealing that was applied was very sloppily applied and thus was ineffective. read more

We really enjoyed visiting this gallery when we came to Santa Fe. They had some very unique pieces and it was nice to go to a gallery where we were not entirely priced out of taking something home. The fish lamps were really cool and if you go by at night they have a great outdoor presentation with the garden lanterns. Sharon and I hit most of the galleries on Canyon, Rd in Santa Fe, NM. We were greeted by friendly employees in most of the galleries, but Michael at Luca Decor, http://www.lucadecor.com/, was exceptional in his demeanor and friendliness. We found a piece that we both liked for our over our fireplace. Michael helped us with every facet of our purchase. He could not have been more helpful with our purchase. So, we pulled the trigger and we purchased the piece and had it shipped to us. When the piece arrived we were so excited to finally have it at our house. Unfortunately, the piece just did not work for our house, color scheme etc. When we contacted Michael, and explained the piece did not work for our house, he said no problem. Luca Decor was our first stop when we got to Canyon Road. It was also the best of the 15 or so galleries we hit that day. We ended up buying 5 pieces (!) because we loved one artist's work so much. I now follow Jennifer Cavan, the artist, and I will definitely go back to Luca on my next visit. We had a great time talking to Michael, and he was helpful but put absolutely no pressure on us at all. He looked at pictures of our home and consulted on what would look good where. My husband and I usually take a trip to Santa Fe to celebrate milestone anniversaries. Canyon Road is our favorite place to roam, and we were warmly welcomed by Michael as soon as we entered. He encouraged us to touch the kinetic pieces and answered all our questions. Once we had chosen a piece, he arranged for us to use his private driveway to pick it up. One additional small control for our piece is actually going to be delivered -- by the artist -- right to us in Northern Colorado. Exceptional service, top-notch professionalism. This is a wonderful gallery full of beautiful art pieces. Michael, the owner, is a most gracious, informative and non-pressuring guide to the art and the artists who make them. I don't live in the area but found a piece for my home. He arranged for a bit of additional work by the artist and got it safely shipped to our home, all in the proposed time frame. He kept me informed about the progress so I wasn't worried. I recommend the gallery and Michael with no reservations. On a recent trip to Santa Fe, my husband and decided to go into one last gallery on Canyon Road. We saved the best for last! We ended up buying several pieces of art with the help of Michael Galya, gallery owner. Luca's selection is very unique, even by Santa Fe standards. The selection includes not only beautiful paintings and drawings, but also unique furniture, lamps/lighting, mirrors, wood sculptures and copper wall panels and mirrors. Michael helped us select a series of three beautiful painted panels. What impressed us most is that he delivered the paintings to us in Denver (he had a trip planned) and hung them for us! Luca Decor is our favorite gallery on Canyon Road. Their pieces are visual, tactile, and functional! All (well, maybe most of) the work they display is beautiful and, unlike most other artwork around town, touchable. The wood pieces are smooth and inviting to touch. The furniture is comfortable and functional, beautifully made and would be artistic, aesthetic delights even if they were just sculptures. Our favorite pieces are the Spunwheel kinetic wall sculptures. Their lines and curves invite you to give a gentle push, then be mesmerized by the rhythmic movements and optical illusions of expanding and contracting arms. Even as you watch the spinning sculpture, as it very gradually slows down, the illusion changes, the apparent design shifts, its beautiful and fascinating at the same time. We bought one of the Spunwheel pieces. Michael was friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. We're here in Santa Fe, and he will deliver and install the piece for us. It couldn't be easier. read more
