We told him some homes we were interested in and he brought other great candidates -- he took us through all of them, but we just could not find something in our budget. My wife and I thought we would have to wait a few months until something else came in the market, but maybe a week or two went by and Steven found a new build that was almost completed -- it was not even listed on any of the big websites (Zillow, etc.). He negotiated our home at our budget and even got the closing costs to be COMPLETELY covered -- we were actually paid a large sum of money at closing when we got the home with NO money out of pocket. This man was on top of everything -- he was an amazing asset to this process. My wife and I felt confident and well informed. In the midst of the home buying process, my wife had our first baby and Steven sent us a card and gift card for our baby -- he didn't need to do that, but he is is a good man. No call, no text, nothing. We came back at 3:40 assuming it was a no-show. She finally arrived at 3:45 -- 45 minutes late -- and when she came to the door she said, "Didn't expect anyone to be here." We let her know the showing was confirmed for 3:00 and it was now 3:45. We told her she was lucky we still had the kids in the car and could step away. Instead of apologizing, she snapped "I'm lucky?", said "Forget it, I don't need to see your house," slammed our front door in our faces, and stormed off. Her own client -- the buyer -- then came to our door and asked if he could see the house without her. She abandoned her own client at a stranger's home after throwing a tantrum. We have two young children. This was aggressive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. We have filed formal complaints with her brokerage and the Florida Real Estate Commission.
