I received a voicemail from "the Business Verification center" stating "We are receiving reports from customers marking your business as not valid in google maps. This is currently causing customers to not find you when searching for your services." I returned the call because, obviously, it is concerning if people are marking my "business as not valid." After verifying my information, I wanted to address this problem but was dismissed and essentially told that my SEO was not up to date and that is why I was called. I asked the person (whose name escapes me) the name of the company he works for, he gave me the initials, I asked what the initials stood for, he avoided the question, and then hung up. I'm not a big fan of companies using scare tactics to get me to do business with them. This says to me that they are not legitimate and / or not worth whatever money they would ask me to spend with them. I think that if they were good at their job, they would be honest. read more
