Where do I start. My house was severely damaged due to a Contractor leaving my ridge line open…read moreduring a storm. DGK swooped in like they were saints and I used the to fix all the damage. They stated that they could have us back in my house by 18 December 2025 and if I pay 23,000 more work won't stop due to insurance. That did not happen. This issue started in July 2025 and DGK still had not finished my house when I fired them early February 2026. 7 months of them dragging my along. They would do very little work then ghost us for weeks. Ignoring text messages and phone calls. They kept saying they need more money. When asked to see invoices, purchase orders etc James Wocher told me that's not how it works. Really? I, the customer can't see where MY money is going. My final issue that set me over board was they neglected to put insulation in my roof during this record setting cold winter causing me to have Propane filled up 5 times now since December 8 2025. James stated it's not their fault and I must have a leak. I paid another contractor two months ago to check for leaks and weather my crawl space but James still won't take responsibility. Then more water damage was seen and DGK refused to send someone out to stop the leak instead stating I don't need their insurance information or license and bonding information. All required to be given to a client. After having MY insurance access the damage it was found that DGK did not install a proper ice and water barrier in the valley of my roof and since no insulation was in my attic the ice and water entered my home and destroyed more of my home. It was also identified that none of the insulation they did install is not up to code. The two vents they replaced for me in both bathrooms is also not up to code (not vented anywhere). This company is stealing money and not fixing what they were supposed to up to code. James claims the refund from the insurance for the 23,000 I paid belongs to them which is not even remotely theirs. I have not seen an invoice or anything proving they used all of the over 150,000 my insurance paid them. Do not waste money or time with this company. They also tried to instal a French door without insulating it. Really? There's plenty more to tell but I'll leave it at this. Update: James is again claiming false statements when all issues were identified by Insurance adjuster and licensed home inspector. I had to pay for the insulation myself which is over 5,000 dollars that was sent to DGK to complete. Where is my reimbursement for that. We will let the law decide who's in the wrong. All code violation are very real and the fact he chose to bash my review proves he's reaching too far on this. As for the ICE issue, we had three workers call us and threaten my family if DGK did not pay them for work done at my home. One stated they had no papers to be here is why James won't pay him then threatened to paint my house all black. I'd say I have a leg to stand on when it comes to that.

DGK provided quality work and excellent service in replacing our siding and roof. We had damage…read morefrom a hail storm. They were so helpful in dealing with our insurance company. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. They are also very reasonable with their pricing!

Instead of finishing the job, Quincey Barrett ripped out the old doors, left the home in shambles, and vanished with the money. The house is now in a far worse state than when it started--it is unsecured, unfinished, and $25,000 has been stolen. This is not a "bad contractor" experience; this is professional fraud and property abandonment. URGENT CALL TO ACTION: If you have also been a victim of Quincey Barrett, do not wait. Go to your local police station and file a report for construction fraud and theft by deception. We are working with the authorities to ensure there is a paper trail for this criminal behavior. You should also report them to the State Licensing Board immediately. Save your family the trauma and the money--stay as far away from Quincey Barrett as possible.

NOTE: ALL OF THE FOLLOWING IS DOCUMENTED through text…read moremessages, phone calls, photographs, home inspections, signed contracts, and additional records. Recent reviews accurately reflect the fraudulent conduct of CPR. The company, owned and operated by Quincy Barrett (CEO) and Brandy Barrett (CFO), misrepresents services and caused us and other clients to lose thousands of dollars. CPR engages in repeated deception, creating a pattern of inconsistent and false statements. Communication is routinely delayed or nonexistent. Quincy Barrett goes silent for days and weeks at a time when updates are requested regarding the contracted project. Signed contracts are breached, and "lifetime warranties" become void when Quincy Barrett fails to meet contractual obligations. Quincy leaves before projects are completed or even begun. The project that was said would take two weeks to be completed did not even begin until 5 months later. The funniest yet is that the project remains unfinished one year and one day after the contract was signed on 12/12/24. CPR provides proof of current insurance coverage and then knowingly cancels the policy prior to the start of the project. When asked about insurance coverage for multiple property damages and a homeowner's bodily injury caused by materials left in the yard, CPR provided evasive responses and no resolution. The homeowner is instructed to cover the damages out of pocket with the promise of reimbursement, RIGHT... Documented damages include the central AC unit, windows and screens, security cameras, all landscape lighting, and most of the landscaping. Quincy Barrett pressures homeowners to authorize loan disbursements using false statements. When contacted by the loan company, he falsely stated that only one piece of siding remained to be installed for completion. CPR abandons a gutter, roofing, and siding project in an unfinished and unsafe condition, compromising the integrity of the home. The most documented deficiencies include gutters installed incorrectly, large sections of siding not installed, siding was installed on half of the porch ceiling instead of soffit, missing water barriers on exposed areas, no insulation in open sections of the home, an unfinished roof, multiple electrical outlets left exposed to the elements, and open gaps in the siding that have allowed vermin enter a previously sealed home now. Due to Quincy Barrett's failure to properly oversee the project in his role as project manager, custom window framing was not installed and may not have even been ordered. Security camera footage showed Quincy Barrett personally managing approximately one hour of the exterior project, which consisted primarily of walking the property and unloading supplies. A refund for the nonexistent custom window framing was eventually issued. However, CPR initially failed to provide the refund due to insufficient funds from the company account. Quincy Barrett claims the account was impacted by fraud. The refund was ultimately issued only after a cashier's check was demanded. Following the submission of the first review, and only review until today, 12/13/25, a 2:00 AM text message was received containing a screenshot of the review and a threatening message. The nature of the threat, whether physical or legal, is unclear. A request for clarification received no response. Responses provided by CPR now will consistently satisfy their claims, regardless of factual documentation. The conduct of Quincy and Brandy Barrett demonstrates a pattern of misrepresentation, nonperformance, and intimidation.

I also had Champion in Dayton, OH build a much larger sunroom in my home there.) I will ALWAYS use Champion! Workers are dedicated and professional. I was surprised however that I had to contract for my own flooring, but it was/is fine. How wonderful to sit outside without BUGS. It is a four season room and I love it. I also got small windows at the bottom for my little dog and he loves it too. I highly recommend this company. Champion absolutely stands behind their products. While the "sunroom guys" were here they fixed a problem I was having with my storm door, which had been Champion installed in 2021. There are probably other companies that would be less expensive, but if you want the BEST and a company that stands behind their products, always choose Champion. Even though I am rapidly approaching 80, I love that this Champion Sunroom will be passed down for generations! I am a very happy and returning customer!

This is only reviewing the cost & sales pitch of Champion Windows in regard to replacement windows…read more If you're in need of a good laugh for some absolute ABSURDITY...welcome! I began researching and contacting local window replacement companies in the greater Cincinnati area as I need five vinyl windows replaced. Prior to Champion coming out, I had one other company, Windows Plus, come out. Windows Plus quoted just over $6000.00, triple-paned, double-hung, lifetime warranty. Champion arrived at my home, a male sales rep & another male sales rep-in-training. Explained what I needed due to current state of windows, then we got down to the nitty gritty. Sales rep goes back outside to get his bag of tricks and then we got going. This is my favorite part... Do you know how a window works? Do you know the purpose windows should serve? (I rather think that most average people have the basics down. If not, at least Google the general properties of a window.) Sales rep proceeds to show me what Champion windows are made of, Virgin vinyl vs Recycled vinyl, what makes them better than other companies, then explains the novel idea that windows serve the purpose of keeping cold air out/heat inside in winter and vice versa in summer. Gosh...who knew??? Don't forget the binder showing how other well-known companies pale in comparison... Then he proceeds to bust out the cold compressed air can with a temperature gauge from the bag of tricks to show me the purpose windows serve...you know, keeping the cold air outside. Groundbreaking stuff. Now let's get to the pricing, because this was the best part. For five windows, rectangular, nothing unique: Initial quote: just over $22, 000.00. BUT, I called at just the right time, for the great deal of BUY TWO GET TWO FREE. With that timely miracle, it is now just over $13,000.00. (insert my astonishment and laughter here) To be followed by the line essentially asking if Champion can sign me up for this fantastic deal right now, because if I sign right now, I can get another 10% off. My steadfast reply: "I will not be making any decisions today". So as the sales rep is packing up, he then proceeds to ask if he makes a phone call, if he can get it down to around $9,000.00, would I be willing to sign up today? My reply is the same as before, "I will not be making any decisions today". This gives the same vibes as a car salesman, trying to make a deal, trying to get this thing done today, and it's very off-putting. While I get this is how someone makes their living, the ridiculousness of that initial quote is actually insulting. Inflating costs to make it seem as if the "deal" you are presenting, the buy 2 get 2 free, is a fantastic deal, is 100% a joke. To so easily go from over $22,000.00 to offering around $9,000.00, you must think most people are suckers. Which maybe some people aren't good with face-to-face interactions, or standing their ground, and if you're not, then have a friend with a backbone with you so that you don't get bamboozled. I did also make it a point to explain to the sales rep that the windows in my kitchen had been replaced with vinyl windows in 2011, and those cost a whopping $330.00 a window, totaling around $1000.00 (a retired contractor friend). Even given "INFLATION", which is a favorite word of sales reps to throw around to justify increasing costs, which has actually gone up around 43-45% from 2011-2025, even if inflation doubled the cost of those windows, that is nowhere near the price he was trying to sell me on. Champion sales reps may try to explain away the exorbitant costs by emphasizing how they make their windows in-house, virgin vinyl is better than recycled vinyl (which is true but not unique to Champion), their lifetime warranty that can be transferred to the next homeowner (also not unique to Champion), the felt-lined bottom of the window (also not unique as my current vinyl windows have that). It is all a curated sales pitch that they follow, along with asking you questions such as "What was your favorite part of what I have told you so far about Champion?"...though this question is posed before you are given the price. Well my favorite part was when I got to go into work the next day and have all my coworkers (a few of whom are also looking at getting windows replaced) guess the quote I got from Champion. And this is why I am getting in touch with contractors instead of these "big name" companies who try to pull a fast one or think potential customers are really that gullible. At the very least, save yourself the headache of getting a quote from Champion.

Our experience with this company was extremely disappointing and far more stressful than it should…read morehave been. What was supposed to be a 3-4 day project according to the contract ended up taking about a month, mainly due to poor communication, delays, and lack of project management. Our gutters and downspouts were removed and left sitting in our yard for three weeks, and our home went over a month without gutters, which led to water intrusion during storms--something we had never experienced before. The initial soffit and fascia work was also done poorly and required multiple follow-ups before it was finally corrected. Throughout the entire process, communication was extremely poor. We repeatedly had to contact the company ourselves just to get updates or have issues addressed. Promised callbacks from management never happened, and at one point we were even told our bill might be sent to collections while we were still waiting for the company to return our calls regarding unresolved concerns. There were also basic professionalism issues, including trash left in our yard by the crew, including fast-food bags that my dogs got into. The only reason this review is not even worse is because Robert, the replacement project manager, eventually corrected the installation issues, and Phil later took the time to listen to our concerns and offer a partial discount. Unfortunately, that only happened after weeks of frustration and repeated attempts to get someone to respond. Overall, the experience showed serious issues with communication, scheduling, and project oversight. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this company

I told him from the very beginning that I was a disabled Veteran with limited income and that was my concern the cost. I couldn't afford it Logan said since it was damage from the wind and hail storm wole had just had that my insurance should cover the damage repair. He inspected & took pics & help me start a claim. After the adjustors came out from from USSA they gave an estimate. I told him that I had a limited income and couldn't afford to pay out of pocket the deductible amount of $2000 I could not afford that out of pocket expense. Logan agreed they would take that off the amount Logan agreed that I would only pay the amount minus the deductible. I told him I asked for the paperwork for the quote Logan said it would be sent to me so I agreed. After that this was about a week after the insurance company had approved claim the roofers came they brought a dumpster and it took a day to finish most of the roof. They cleaned up after themselves and left nothing sharp. When I went to look there was a part missing shingles & a spot right near the porch I took pictures of it & contacted Logan. Logan stopped answering directly. Shannon did his brother Said they would be out to fix it they did a few days later. Shannon said could they get a payment I again asked for the written quote and he said that his girlfriend who is the office manager was sending it out. He asked for a payment and I gave him a bank cheque for $9000. The next week foreman to start the siding while I wasn't home he pulled back a portion of the siding was pulled back & they found no board or insulation. The builders built the house without it. I was shocked when Shannon called & told me this. He told me that they would reach out to USAA. A few day later he called me saying they wouldn't cover it it was going to be $3000 extra that my policy didn't allow for that. I told him I don't have that. He said that it was necessary to be to code. I told him that I told Logan that I am a disabled Veteran with limited income and didn't have it. I talked with my brother about 3 days later who said I should have gotten something from my insurance stating that and I should call myself. I called come to find out that Shannon never called at all he had given me a price without talking with USAA. They said they had no record prior to my call regarding the missing insulation and boards. They knew nothing till I called. I asked could it be covered and they sent it back to the adjustors who reached out to them. They had already bought the siding which was sitting in my driveway prior to me finding out that I had no board or insulation I wanted to walk away right then because he lied because trust had been broken. I made sure that I texted to have a record and took videos and pictures. I asked him what kind of boards were needed he told me and I went to look online for them myself. Found them for much cheaper than I was told at home depot. I called him after USAA said they would cover it. I nearly maxed my card. After that I bought the board for roughly $600 not $3000 I was told by Shannon plus the box of nails and tarps to cover and go under to protect them. I called him after I had them delivered and said I had bought the board. He proceeded to tell me how they had to go back and for with the insurance company. However USAA had already contacted me letting me know that my policy covered that provision. They started a few days later. I was told by my neighbor they had used their electric for their equipment. I apologized I thought they would have their own like the roofers did. They also had left my water on. I found out after coming home from my brothers. The board were uncovered. They had leaned item against my neighbors house, destroyed their rare flower on the side of the house and trash and debris was everywhere. I had my nephew move the items leaning against my neighbors house. We also bagged up the scattered trash some nine bags with my garbage bags. I took videos and pictures after this happened multiple days I called and texted Logan and Shannon about this also. I leave right next to a nature preserve I was worried about the siding being off and nothing covering it leave it open to the rain and rodents. He said the would take of $150 for the water. Which mind you over the next 8 weeks would be left on all the time. They started leaving trash & construction debris everywhere. Leaning equipment, materials & trash against my neighbors house. Board uncovered my home exposed nephews, other family. They also used my outdoor outlet for my stairlift they unplugged& broke it had to call the VA for a repair& was without my lift. Which I needed. I injured myself on the debris left in the yard. Causing injury Finished 2 mths later. NEVER got estimate broke my flood lights leaking gutters
