One of the reasons for this was because I had roof damage and it had to be replaced. While it was being replaced my contractor stopped when the job was only 75% complete with the promise of coming back and finishing it soon. Well, that never happened. I finally found someone who was willing to complete the job, but so much time had passed I forgot about my insurance rate increasing. One day I got a call from my agent (Brent) at Advanced Underwriters. He said he was in my neighborhood the day before for another client of his and decided to pass by my place and noticed that my roof was new and all finished up. He also said he made a few calls and found another insurance company that was 60 (SIXTY!!) percent cheaper than my old policy and the coverage was even better with the new company. Well, of course I went into his office that day to sign the papers! Now THAT is what I call stellar costumer service! Three years running, they have NEGLECTED to send me a bill for ALL of my home insurance policies. Each year staff in this agency has promised this would not happen again, but it always does. First year this horrible agency screwed it up my policy was canceled, which required me to pay 10% more for a "NEW" policy. On the second year they failed to perform the duties they're paid to perform, although they didn't send me a bill, they did send me the "cancelation notice". Therefore, I was forced to drop everything else, and immediately go to Ricky's office, to pay for the policy. My question to ALLSTATE is simple, if you (Allstate Insurance Company) pay Agent's to administer/service customers accounts, and they do NOT do that, what are the Agents being paid for? Would it not be reasonably to expect a refund from Allstate, after all, they paid (with my money) this hopeless incompetent agency to do a job they did not do, for three years in a row? Although I've been with Allstate for 42 years, apparently, since they refuse to correct, or make amends, for their mistakes, it is time to move on.
