After Hurricane Katrina my homeowners insurance went up significantly, along with most of the other…read morehomeowners in the area. One of the reasons for this was because I had roof damage and it had to be replaced. While it was being replaced my contractor stopped when the job was only 75% complete with the promise of coming back and finishing it soon. Well, that never happened. I finally found someone who was willing to complete the job, but so much time had passed I forgot about my insurance rate increasing. One day I got a call from my agent (Brent) at Advanced Underwriters. He said he was in my neighborhood the day before for another client of his and decided to pass by my place and noticed that my roof was new and all finished up. He also said he made a few calls and found another insurance company that was 60 (SIXTY!!) percent cheaper than my old policy and the coverage was even better with the new company. Well, of course I went into his office that day to sign the papers! Now THAT is what I call stellar costumer service!
