I hate to leave bad reviews, I'm just feeling a bit scammed by this place…read more The main reason I booked was the high ratings, so I felt confident going into this. However their white trolley was in the shop. I asked 4 times where the trolley was before they finally told me. No mention of this even though Peter called the day before to get me to pay more for him to pick us up. I can't stand pushy men, he also followed us into our rental, when my friend insisted on carrying the pizza. If you are a woman planning a bachelorette, maybe think twice. Update: I also filed a complaint with the attorney generals office. This kind of false advertisement needs to be stopped, a communication about the trolley is the only thing I expected. This is worded no where that a shuttle will be used in place of a trolley.

I'm not the type of egomaniac that has a list of 136 thrill-seeking things to do before I die. But…read morehave you ever driven a sled pulled by dogs? I have! Exhilarating. I'll sum it up like this. They minimize the instruction, but you still get to drive the sled yourself. Look at the dang ole picture I posted. How cool is that? Sure, it's fun to careen down a hill on a sled, especially after a few glasses of hard eggnog. But it's yet another thing to mush (be dragged by) six out-of-control dogs that totally love running as much as you love being pulled along. First, you meet the dogs, all adorable. (Many were rescued from shelters, all of them want to run-run-run. And all of them are good with people -- these aren't exactly Iditarod dogs. Your sled will only have 3-8 dogs instead of the usual 14.) Then, after a few more basic pointers, mostly having to do with standing without falling and braking, you get your sea legs by "driving" the sled behind a snowmobile. Finally you're thrown out there, your safety net being the dude on a snowmobile. The course is a golf course, no steering involved. I love you Willow, Snuggles, Yazzie, Mingus, Otis, and Stumpy. Mush!!

Would have probably given this a 4 if there was snow. However with no snow on the ground we were…read moreforced to do the tour via an atv versus a sled. Overall it was still a good experience that I'd recommend, especially if you're a dog lover. Definitely get more than enough time with the dogs and the tour ride itself is also pretty lengthy. But again could imagine this being great if you could actually experience the rise in a sled.

Availability seems pretty weather-dependent, so phone ahead and have a backup plan for your day,…read morebut our experience was super fun. You ride in small Cessna propeller plane, which can comfortably seat two, and can squeeze a third if you must (two adults and a kid seems reasonable, and there's a coupon on the website to get your third passenger free, so this might be good for families). We did the Delaware Water Gap tour, which is around a half hour. We went in fall, and the scenery was gorgeous, with rivers and mountains covered in colorful autumn trees. You star fairly low so you can still see a lot of what's going on below. The wind tends to be a bit choppy up in the mountains, so this might not be great for those faint of heart or weak of stomach, but it also adds to the thrill. Toward the end of the flight our pilot let my girlfriend take control and fly the plane. This was a big thrill for her, and he actually let her do quite a bit in terms of guiding the plane and bring it in for a landing (but of course he took control back for the landing itself). If anyone is interested in a little mini-flight lesson, make sure they take the front seat. Overally great experience. Might seem a little pricey for a relatively short activity ($50 for 30 minutes, although I think it was a little longer), but it was totally worth it.
