We like Lowe's more than the competition mostly because it seems smaller, less daunting, quicker in and out. Prices are fair in today's market. I went into Lowe's after leaving Home Depot. We were in Home Depot looking at BBQ grills. Although there happened to be 5 associates working in the BBQ section while we were there. Not one of them asked if we needed help. I knew exactly what I wanted but wanted to give my 700 dollars to a company that earned it. Lowe's was that company. When I entered the BBQ section, Josh offered to help. He was knowledgeable and friendly. After ringing me up, he helped load the grill into my car. Great experience! read more

Well I have officially lost all respect for Lowe's home improvement. Return policies are usually 30 days. I bought a star for my tree which was way to top heavy had to buy a different off amazon. Waited until after Christmas to return the star, you know got busy work life and holiday hustle and bustle went today to return said item under the 30 day policy and was rudely met with not being able to return my item because it wasn't before the 26th of a holiday month. Was not even offered store credit. I've never heard of such a thing. My reaction was are you kidding me, that's crazy, the woman proceeds to point at a sign on the wall and says read the policy. Was in the process of ordering a screen door. They sent over somebody from a third party to measure. He sent the information to Lowe's who recorded the measurements totally wrong. Went back to order and found out that Lowe's does not use that 3rd party to install any longer. If I ordered the door I would have to get my one installer and door size would have been totally wrong. This took 3 weeks and multiple trips. Decide based on all of this not to order the door and never do business again. One more thing I was charged 35$ to have somebody measure and when I went to get my refund the lioews personal had no idea how to process it. This review is of Lowes and their delivery partner namely RXO. I ordered a new washer and dryer with pedestals from Lowes delivered January 13. The delivery works order instructed them to reverse the washer/dryer doors to match my laundry room layout. When the delivery arrived they refused stating they didn't have time for that today and had too many stops to make. I called Lowes to complain. Their response was 'we can't make anyone do anything they don't want to do" . They installed the units the way they were and failed to install the rubber feet under the pedestals and scaped them across my newly installed wood floors causing damage beyond repair. They also damaged drywall in the hallway and beat up my entire stairwell. I immediately filed a claim with Mihya Martin with RXO Transport with pictures and damage replacement costs. She stated she would have a Contractor contact me in 24 hours. That didn't happen so I was then told it would take 7 days. That didnt happen either. January 22 she told me to call her if I didn't hear from Contractor in 24 hours. Guess what? No call. Now here we are a month later and Mihya Martin refuses to answer my emails or phone calls. If you don't want to get screwed I wouldn't deal with Lowes or RXO Transport ever. read more

IF I could give 0 star I would. I order a door from this location 2/24/23. The door was installed 5/15/23. The construction company that they used did such a poor job and batched up the door. I had to request a new door. I asked that they used a different company, but I was told that I have to give Farrows Construction a chance to correct their incompetence. I did, with more regrets. The second door was installed by them and of coarse it failed inspection. Not only did they installed the door without a new permit, but by the time they got the second permit the strips on the outside of the door started falling apart. Lowes customer support called me periodically to check up on the job, but up till now the job has still not been completed. Lowes still have not order the strips for the outside of the door. I have talked to multiple customer support people and was told that the order was placed. Still nothing. This nightmare has been going on since 2/24/23. I am now going into 2025 and my front door looks like shit. A job that I am still paying on with absolutely no satisfaction. I would never recommend this store to anyone. read more

Lowes is the worst store ever. Three different Lowes told me three different things. I had my order canceled by them twice... I went in to order a door, and they advised me to order it online and have it delivered. So I did that. A few days later, a Lowes in Lake Park called me and said they wouldn't deliver it because they have a 50 mile range, and they were 62 miles away. So they canceled it and told me that this store in Vero should have ordered it and had it sent to their store. So I go to the Vero store again in person and speak to customer service. They did actually try to help me this time, and the man went out of his way to go to the back and look online. They finally came to a solution to outsource it and have it delivered from another Lowes. I paid in person? They took my money immediately. And yesterday I had confirmation that they were delivering the door from the other Lowes. This morning I get a call from aLowes in Sebring, which is apparently 90 miles away.... and they said they can't deliver to me for obvious reasons, I guess? I'm getting the run around. The guy from the Sebring Lowes said that they could and should have ordered it from my store, and that the Lake Park people should have delivered it and that the range is 70 miles, not 50. I call and try to speak with the Lake Park Lowes, and I'm on hold for almost 20 minutes. They picked up and just put me on hold. Now I'm out $600.00 and told I have to wait 7-14 business days for that back?! Are you kidding me?! I'm beyond angry, and can't afford to just not have $600! I HATE this company. read more

I was scammed at Lowes - bought a grill and had it delivered. It was missing a vital part. Called Lowes customer service and they made arrangements to us go to store and pick up the part there - went there the floor model was missing same part. Waited for it to be sent. Called Lowes Customer service on 4th day. Said store personnel should have ordered part and now past deadline to order it so I got a return authorization picked up on 26 Dec by same people as delivered. In mid-December, 2017, I ordered 5 impact resistant windows to be installed by a Lowes contractor. Today is April 21 and the job is still not complete. The window order was missing 2 required items, causing a 2+ week delay. Numerous installation errors were made. The job failed inspection on February 13. The installer said talk to lowes. Lowes said the manufacturer had to solve the problem. Adding insult to this fiasco,,,,,,,I financed the job thru Lowes, which partners with Syncrony Bank. The bank started billing right away. Went shopping at the Vero Beach location of Lowe's Home Improvement for a faucet and some tools for my new house on 12/22. The faucet I was seeking to purchase was available at this location and not at the Home Depot I visited earlier in the evening. When checking out, the cashier stated she had to get a supervisor to approve use of my Home Depot "competitor" coupon. Team leader Jamie came to the register and promptly told me she would not accept said coupon. Contrary to Lowe's policy on competitor coupons, supervisor Jamie refused to accept a 10% off one from Home Depot stating that it expired in 2002. Really? Have I held on to it that long? When I questioned Jamie on this, she stated that it was Lowe's policy to only accept coupons before they expire or within the year they were printed. I told her that I received it a week ago from the Davie, Florida, location of Home Depot. She then told me that it was printed in 2002. I'm like "really?" Jamie advised that she could show me the policy in which she spoke of. When I asked her for it, Jamie indicated that I would have to come back on Monday as the store was now closed. Short story. I did my research on dishwashers and even went in to the Vero location to investigate. Waited 25 minutes and no one even looked at me. I figured I would go home and order it to pick up....so early 1/26 I saw it was in stock and placed the order and paid. I received a notification 2 hours later that it was ready for pick up. I pulled my old machine out in preparation for the new and put it in the garage. Today (1/27) I stopped by at 4pm to pick up the dishwasher. I waited 45 minutes for a lady to tell me they were mistaken, they didn't have one. She offered to have someone talk to me about a comparable unit and I reluctantly said ok. I waited another 15 minutes and no one showed. I gave up and left. Very disappointed. No apology, no help and now I have an empty hole where my dishwasher used to be. Back to square one. read more

Absolutely horrendous! Purchased "high-end" appliances from Lowes as well a extended warranties. Two of three appliances failed in less than 9 months and required significant service. Lowes quickly took our money for the warranty service plans yet required us to independently work with third-party service provider to coordinate service. On Wednesday morning I purchase some items for "pick up." I physically touch the items I know they were in stock. I had never done a pick up order before so I asked one of the floor employees. I was told I could paid any at register ask for a pick up and I didn't need to pull the stock myself. When I paid at the register again I was told there's no need we pull it for you. It will be here when your guys come to pick it up. Lo and behold later that day they sold my items. So after five days of hassle, phone calls to Lowe's where nobody knows what's going on ... I just got my money back. I have to reschedule the guys to do the work, compensate them for the 30 minutes they stood in the store waiting for an order that had been double sold! If all that wasn't bad enough the part that really tipped me over the edge was when manager Paul who had promised to get the materials from another store the next day and call me when they arrived didn't have the courage to apologize to my face for seriously dropping the ball. The Store is clean and bright. Carol and Jamie that I dealt with are nice. The problem for me is when you buy blinds or tile it takes way too long to get anyone to come measure or install. I guess if I were doing myself it would be ok but I'm not. No one calls you. You have to follow up on everything yourself with multiple calls. The person who comes out and measures won't come on a weekend. If you work you will have to take off from work to have an installer come And then they won't tell you when they are coming. You will have a 3-4 hr window. Which mine was late after that So if your doing a project yourself it's good. If not then you will wait a very long time to get service. read more

I went to Lowe's instead of Home Depot because I had a gift card I needed to use up. It is an absolutely awful store. I guess their merchandise is probably parallel to Home Depot, if you don't mind wandering around, misdirected by not one but THREE separate, surly and disinterested employees. And no they were not shorthanded. There were numerous employees around, not one of whom asked what I was looking for, offered direction, or even greeted me. The store was also a pigsty - very messy and jumbled. They must put some kind of "grumpy" in the water there. I would seriously try to avoid. read more
