We like Lowe's more than the competition mostly because it seems smaller, less daunting, quicker in and out. Prices are fair in today's market. Employees are nice. :) We find most anything we need or want.! If it's not in store, it's easily available online. :)) You can trust me, I am an older home homeowner. ;D read more

A Very messed up company. They didn't put the right items that we ordered online in our cart when we went to pick the order up, they gave me lights that I did not order and then when I told them I wanted the right lights he said I had to return the wrong ones that you put in my cart and then when I told the lady on the shelf that the right ones were over there and they said they were $4 your choice and I wanted those ones and then she said she had a call for a manager and the manager would never come to address the problem I'm never going to buy anything online or at Vero Beach Lowe's ever again this is a horrible experience today you guys are the worst store your customer service is awful and you made the mistake and put the wrong lights in my order and then when I came to pick it up I noticed that you didn't have the right items for me. It's so frustrating you guys really don't have your act together and customer service is completely incompetent and then the manager never even came to address the problem and make it right. I won't buy anything else from Lowe's ever again! Louis has very bad management here and their employees are making errors with putting the wrong items in our online pickups. Very bad experience I'm not coming back or using Lowe's anymore to buy anything because of this big error today and then I called on the telephone and this lady Bonnie who said she heard my conversation she was there and she was a manager but she never intervened or did anything about making it right and then she hung up on me Lowe's is horrible I can't believe how you have gone down the tubes in recent years you used to be a good story years ago but now I can tell that you're just absolutely horrible the worst experience ever I would never recommend Lowe's to anyone ever again! I'm not going to be buying anything online or shopping at Lowe's anymore after this experience today. I ordered the $4 spot light x2, they gave me something else. The sign on the display said either the spotlight or pathway light were $4, your choice, but they gave me the other one, although I wanted and ordered the spotlights. I had bought the other kind before from them, but it was junk and never held up. I don't think I will ever buy anything at Lowe's every again, will boycott them now for sure. They were not nice in how they handled their error and did not make it right, I never got my other two lights I wanted, their loss of $, as I just won't go back. Then this manager who is invisible never came to the counter or phone when I called, what a messed up store! They need some quality control here for sure. I am boycotting Lowe's now, you messed up my order. A manager never came when I was there to fix it, nor when I called today, mediocrity at its best at lowes, won't buy online or in person anymore here, too woke and you do not enforce FL state laws allowing all these dogs in the store, the law says only service dogs. You are breaking the law. I am doing some bad reviews now of lowes after you messed up my order today and no one made it right. Shame on lowes! A very me read more

Mediocrity at its best here at this lowe's, nobody cares here, they make so many mistakes, and there is no manager around to talk to. They messed up my online order, when went to pick up they gave me the wrong lights than what I ordered. Instead of making it right, they tell me you have to return them, do all. What is the point of buying online and getting what you order? The customer service and management here are the absolute worst. The manager never came to the counter, I called, never came to the phone, they never made it right or gave me the lights I paid for and ordered. This place is just so poorly run and quite lawless with so many dogs, not even service dogs, they do not have their act together here and the people working here just do not care. This place has really gone down the drain in recent months/years. We will not buy online or in person here anymore. Very bad experience buying here online this time. Praying they can get their act together. What an embarrassment for the public! Wow, they have a lot of bad reviews on here too! read more

I went into Lowe's after leaving Home Depot. We were in Home Depot looking at BBQ grills. Although there happened to be 5 associates working in the BBQ section while we were there. Not one of them asked if we needed help. I knew exactly what I wanted but wanted to give my 700 dollars to a company that earned it. Lowe's was that company. When I entered the BBQ section, Josh offered to help. He was knowledgeable and friendly. After ringing me up, he helped load the grill into my car. Great experience! read more

If Lowes cannot get pre-prchased items out for pick up, then don't offer it. 20+ minutes waiting and no one. No update on app. I left and canceled my order. Guess Lowes is doing so well, they can afford to ignore their customers. It's a shame. read more

Well I have officially lost all respect for Lowe's home improvement. Return policies are usually 30 days. I bought a star for my tree which was way to top heavy had to buy a different off amazon. Waited until after Christmas to return the star, you know got busy work life and holiday hustle and bustle went today to return said item under the 30 day policy and was rudely met with not being able to return my item because it wasn't before the 26th of a holiday month. Was not even offered store credit. I've never heard of such a thing. My reaction was are you kidding me, that's crazy, the woman proceeds to point at a sign on the wall and says read the policy. Extremely rude and I have been completely turned off with shopping there. What ever happened to customer service. DO NOT BUY HOLIDAY MERCHANDISE read more

The Shortest Review in the history of Chachi's Reviews for Yelp. I'm sorry, I like to give detailed and informative reviews. The bottom line is Customer Service here? Pretty much nonexistent. Product? At least in the garden pathetic:-( The selection of pots/Planters is very skimpy. Seriously, save yourself time and aggravation. *** Yes, they also give the 10% Mil Disc and the Parking for Vets. However, good luck finding help. I always try to interact with customers(A great way to get FYI is from other shoppers)it's a great marketing/consumer tool. You'd be surprised at the info you get. I was only here 15min at most. "Forget About It. At least in Vero Bch. I'll cont to use HDepo across the road:-) ***Yet the Lowe's in Port Saint Lucie Blvd is much better. Hope they do something with this one. Best wishes:-) read more

Was in the process of ordering a screen door. They sent over somebody from a third party to measure. He sent the information to Lowe's who recorded the measurements totally wrong. Went back to order and found out that Lowe's does not use that 3rd party to install any longer. If I ordered the door I would have to get my one installer and door size would have been totally wrong. This took 3 weeks and multiple trips. Decide based on all of this not to order the door and never do business again. One more thing I was charged 35$ to have somebody measure and when I went to get my refund the lioews personal had no idea how to process it. I gave up after a half hour waiting and said mail it to me. Yikes read more

This review is of Lowes and their delivery partner namely RXO. I ordered a new washer and dryer with pedestals from Lowes delivered January 13. The delivery works order instructed them to reverse the washer/dryer doors to match my laundry room layout. When the delivery arrived they refused stating they didn't have time for that today and had too many stops to make. I called Lowes to complain. Their response was 'we can't make anyone do anything they don't want to do" . They installed the units the way they were and failed to install the rubber feet under the pedestals and scaped them across my newly installed wood floors causing damage beyond repair. They also damaged drywall in the hallway and beat up my entire stairwell. I immediately filed a claim with Mihya Martin with RXO Transport with pictures and damage replacement costs. She stated she would have a Contractor contact me in 24 hours. That didn't happen so I was then told it would take 7 days. That didnt happen either. January 22 she told me to call her if I didn't hear from Contractor in 24 hours. Guess what? No call. Now here we are a month later and Mihya Martin refuses to answer my emails or phone calls. If you don't want to get screwed I wouldn't deal with Lowes or RXO Transport ever. read more

Lowes is the worst store ever. Three different Lowes told me three different things. I had my order canceled by them twice... I went in to order a door, and they advised me to order it online and have it delivered. So I did that. A few days later, a Lowes in Lake Park called me and said they wouldn't deliver it because they have a 50 mile range, and they were 62 miles away. So they canceled it and told me that this store in Vero should have ordered it and had it sent to their store. So I go to the Vero store again in person and speak to customer service. They did actually try to help me this time, and the man went out of his way to go to the back and look online. They finally came to a solution to outsource it and have it delivered from another Lowes. I paid in person? They took my money immediately. And yesterday I had confirmation that they were delivering the door from the other Lowes. This morning I get a call from aLowes in Sebring, which is apparently 90 miles away.... and they said they can't deliver to me for obvious reasons, I guess? I'm getting the run around. The guy from the Sebring Lowes said that they could and should have ordered it from my store, and that the Lake Park people should have delivered it and that the range is 70 miles, not 50. I call and try to speak with the Lake Park Lowes, and I'm on hold for almost 20 minutes. They picked up and just put me on hold. Now I'm out $600.00 and told I have to wait 7-14 business days for that back?! Are you kidding me?! I'm beyond angry, and can't afford to just not have $600! I HATE this company. read more

I was scammed at Lowes - bought a grill and had it delivered. It was missing a vital part. Called Lowes customer service and they made arrangements to us go to store and pick up the part there - went there the floor model was missing same part. Waited for it to be sent. Called Lowes Customer service on 4th day. Said store personnel should have ordered part and now past deadline to order it so I got a return authorization picked up on 26 Dec by same people as delivered. Never credited to my account - now they Lowes credit card is dunning me and no record of my return appears on my Lowes account. Figure it was a scam by dishonest employees or incredible disorganization. I will never pay the bill and have to go through incredible hassle to get it removed my account. read more

IF I could give 0 star I would. I order a door from this location 2/24/23. The door was installed 5/15/23. The construction company that they used did such a poor job and batched up the door. I had to request a new door. I asked that they used a different company, but I was told that I have to give Farrows Construction a chance to correct their incompetence. I did, with more regrets. The second door was installed by them and of coarse it failed inspection. Not only did they installed the door without a new permit, but by the time they got the second permit the strips on the outside of the door started falling apart. Lowes customer support called me periodically to check up on the job, but up till now the job has still not been completed. Lowes still have not order the strips for the outside of the door. I have talked to multiple customer support people and was told that the order was placed. Still nothing. This nightmare has been going on since 2/24/23. I am now going into 2025 and my front door looks like shit. A job that I am still paying on with absolutely no satisfaction. I would never recommend this store to anyone. read more

Just avoid this company. No costumer service, no quality, the worst place to do business with.

In mid-December, 2017, I ordered 5 impact resistant windows to be installed by a Lowes contractor. Today is April 21 and the job is still not complete. The window order was missing 2 required items, causing a 2+ week delay. Numerous installation errors were made. The job failed inspection on February 13. The installer said talk to lowes. Lowes said the manufacturer had to solve the problem. Adding insult to this fiasco,,,,,,,I financed the job thru Lowes, which partners with Syncrony Bank. The bank started billing right away. I made the first monthly payment before the job was even begun. read more

Went shopping at the Vero Beach location of Lowe's Home Improvement for a faucet and some tools for my new house on 12/22. The faucet I was seeking to purchase was available at this location and not at the Home Depot I visited earlier in the evening. When checking out, the cashier stated she had to get a supervisor to approve use of my Home Depot "competitor" coupon. Team leader Jamie came to the register and promptly told me she would not accept said coupon. Contrary to Lowe's policy on competitor coupons, supervisor Jamie refused to accept a 10% off one from Home Depot stating that it expired in 2002. Really? Have I held on to it that long? When I questioned Jamie on this, she stated that it was Lowe's policy to only accept coupons before they expire or within the year they were printed. I told her that I received it a week ago from the Davie, Florida, location of Home Depot. She then told me that it was printed in 2002. I'm like "really?" Jamie advised that she could show me the policy in which she spoke of. When I asked her for it, Jamie indicated that I would have to come back on Monday as the store was now closed. Lost a sale and lost a customer over a !0% off coupon and what would have amounted to a $15.53 discount. /s/ William E. Lewis Jr., Davie, Cooper City, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. read more

Short story. I did my research on dishwashers and even went in to the Vero location to investigate. Waited 25 minutes and no one even looked at me. I figured I would go home and order it to pick up....so early 1/26 I saw it was in stock and placed the order and paid. I received a notification 2 hours later that it was ready for pick up. I pulled my old machine out in preparation for the new and put it in the garage. Today (1/27) I stopped by at 4pm to pick up the dishwasher. I waited 45 minutes for a lady to tell me they were mistaken, they didn't have one. She offered to have someone talk to me about a comparable unit and I reluctantly said ok. I waited another 15 minutes and no one showed. I gave up and left. Very disappointed. No apology, no help and now I have an empty hole where my dishwasher used to be. Back to square one. read more

Please do not buy extended insurance on any appliances. Lowes will not honor it. I did, and during the last hurricane my power went out and i lost all my food in a new refrigerator. I tried to make a claim and LOWES wanted a signed letter from a electrical company. That was the last thing i was thinking about after the hurricane with all the cleanup i had to do. LOWES extended warranty is obviously another way for them to make more money off loyal consumers. read more

Someone that works there named Diana is probably the rudest person I have ever experienced at a Lowes. Home Depot is right across the street and I've never felt compelled one way or the other, because unfortunately they each carry different things, but this one rude B is making me lean towards HD whenever possible. I've had the unfortunate luck of getting her multiple times in the return line, and most recently she hung up on me after being rude on a call. Everyone else is so nice. If you are looking for major appliances bypass Lowe's and go a specialty appliance retailer. The customer service at Vero location is awful. The third party delivery firm XPo is awful. I bought a refrigerator for my 82 year old mother and sales associate sold me connecting lines for the ice maker never asking about the material or installation of the water line. The delivery crew arrives and informs me they could not connect after I bought requisite parts at recommendation of associate. I called the store who informed me I was out of options. And should have notified them of water line prior to purchasing. Are you kidding? Do not waste your time. I called the store 5 times and got transferred to a line that no one answered ever. I went to the store and No ONE could locate the store manager after I waited 30 minutes. Save your money and go to a professional appliance retailer that values customers. Pre paid pick up and customer service department are terrible. Some have attitudes. Most of the issues they blame on their "system." Have ordered multiple times and not once has it been ready. Also on one occasion my item was completely lost with no explanations. Manager of the department does not seem to care. The manager of the store itself does not care either. Absolutely horrendous! Purchased "high-end" appliances from Lowes as well a extended warranties. Two of three appliances failed in less than 9 months and required significant service. Lowes quickly took our money for the warranty service plans yet required us to independently work with third-party service provider to coordinate service. In addition, significant delays of nearly a month to arrange service causing a major disruption in household since the range and microwave were non-functioning for this period. Never again!! Worst customer service ever. 20 minute wait for prepaid pick up item. Girl at customer service had an attitude.

On Wednesday morning I purchase some items for "pick up." I physically touch the items I know they were in stock. I had never done a pick up order before so I asked one of the floor employees. I was told I could paid any at register ask for a pick up and I didn't need to pull the stock myself. When I paid at the register again I was told there's no need we pull it for you. It will be here when your guys come to pick it up. Lo and behold later that day they sold my items. So after five days of hassle, phone calls to Lowe's where nobody knows what's going on ... I just got my money back. I have to reschedule the guys to do the work, compensate them for the 30 minutes they stood in the store waiting for an order that had been double sold! If all that wasn't bad enough the part that really tipped me over the edge was when manager Paul who had promised to get the materials from another store the next day and call me when they arrived didn't have the courage to apologize to my face for seriously dropping the ball. Way to step up Paul. Leadership by example! read more

The Store is clean and bright. Carol and Jamie that I dealt with are nice. The problem for me is when you buy blinds or tile it takes way too long to get anyone to come measure or install. I guess if I were doing myself it would be ok but I'm not. No one calls you. You have to follow up on everything yourself with multiple calls. The person who comes out and measures won't come on a weekend. If you work you will have to take off from work to have an installer come And then they won't tell you when they are coming. You will have a 3-4 hr window. Which mine was late after that So if your doing a project yourself it's good. If not then you will wait a very long time to get service. read more
