The local Lowe's sells LG appliances but are unable to provide a local repair person. So they are selling appliances that cannot be warranty repaired. Their only suggestion is to work through LG and LG can not provide a repair person for the Uintah basin area. Remarkably unpleasant to deal with as well. read more

Order and paid for kitchen cabinets Feb. 6th 2021, was told it would take 6-8 weeks, so the end of march we started slowly tearing out the old cabinets, since we had to put in a new floor before the cabinets arrived. Got the flooring all done was calling them almost daily to find out where the cabinets were finally got a call in May they were sitting on a dock in Salt Lake City, Utah, spent 2 weeks sitting on the dock. Got them here 2 more weeks for the install, then the counter tops took until the end of June. I had warped doors uneven crown molding didnt get the backsplash we thought we had ordered. This was pure hell. The installers came back about 4 times to fix things, we finally told then to leave and we would finish it up ourselves, 5 months of pure hell, having to eat out for most of 3 months still didnt get it the way we wanted it. We wanted an over mount sink, they under mounted it, wanted the panel that went down the side of the fridge said we didnt order it, read more

As a contractor, I spend a lot of $ every month. Every time I need to order anything I know they will mess it up. The managers pretend it's the shipping company but most of the time it's something they input wrong. They cost my business time and money. read more

This is the most hit and miss store! Usually a miss though! I could walk through that entire store 10 times and I guarantee that no one would ask me if I needed help! I'm almost impressed on how you don't see a worker the whole time!! How is that even possible?? I will admit the people in the flooring department, when I can find them, are very good help. read more

I moved here about 9 months ago. We needed several things which took us much longer than we thought. We pulled up to the cashier with one minute till closing. She looked at us with wide eyes. Then a huge smile and said "Let's get you out of here cause it looks like you've got a lot of work to do!". At the end I apologized to a manager that walked up to the register. "Sorry we have taken you past closing". She said, "Don't apologize. I'm really happy you chose us for all your supplies!". They offered us help to load our car then thanked us again on the way out. Since then we have been back many times. There was one guy that I had help me five different times! I could tell that he was in the middle of a project but he kept passing by me just as I had questions. He came up to me in line as I was getting ready to leave and asked if I was sure I didn't need anymore help since he was about to clock out. I said no and we both had a good laugh. I have appreciated all the good help and conversations I have had. I haven't yet had any bad experiences. I really love some of the sales they have. read more

Holy cow are they terrible! Screwed up huge purchase order costing me hours and hours of extra work. Not a good store. True Value could do as well if they still had lumber etc. Avoid Lowes and go to the Wasatch front. read more

Get more and more disappointed in this store. After having been excited they had a Lowes in Vernal it has just went downhill. Especially the last 2 years. A good indicator is the turnover of employees in the last couple of years. Going in today you see very few of the people who were there last year if any. Today when I was in there, the customer service people were all grumpy. The one helping me has waited on me for other things and the attitude is always like they hate being there. There were 3 of them trying to decide how to take care of my problem. None of them were happy with other things going on. At one point one was complaining about something another employee hadn't done. The one taking care of my issue snapped at the other one, 'you tell her I said she was supposed to take care of that earlier.' The apparent manager for the group came by and they asked them about my problem, the manager acted like it was a real pain and just rattled off a kind of snarky answer. I am finally happily out of there. Two workers came up in and stood complaining about how things were going in the store while I was waiting for my stuff to come out. They were quite disappointed with how things were going! A lot of times the only reason I go here is they are cheaper then the other hardware stores. But I think this trip pushed me back over to the local stores! I used to prefer Lowes over Home Depot but my loyalty is changing fast. Wish there was an HD here! read more
