We were asked if we would like to have a gem shipped in for free so I could see it in person before possibly purchasing, of course I said yes. Today we went to see it, it was the wrong size gem and instead of wanting to work with us the gentleman told us he wouldn't order another gem so we could waste his time and then go buy it somewhere else(which now we will be doing). Rude, terrible customer service. He managed to turn what's supposed to be an exciting experience into a negative one. Not what Ive grown to expect from local businesses.

Long story short, a small diamond on one side had fallen out and needed to be replaced. We spoke to the owner, Burke, and he kindly replaced it for us but once it was returned, we noticed that one side no longer matched the other. Each side consists of three bands, and one side was now practically welded together (see picture). There was no phone call to explain why they had made such drastic changes to replace the diamond, only a note that read "looks like the ring hit something, we did the best we could." Personally, I would have appreciated a phone call letting me know my options for fixing it, instead of being sent back a ring that had been drastically changed making it no longer symmetrical. After taking a few days to finally get in touch with Burke to let him know we were not happy with the way they repaired the ring, and photos sent as well, he allowed us to ship it back for repair. The second time it was sent back to us, the ring was still not symmetrical and, for whatever reason, one of the sapphires came back cloudy and appeared to have been replaced. I wore it out that night for an event I was attending anyways. I had also worn a pair of mittens and, after arriving at the event, I took the mitten off and noticed that another side diamond had fallen out. I only had the ring on for no more than 30 minutes. At this point, we were extremely frustrated, and asked for refund or a new ring. After many days of back and forth conversation all through text, Burke admitted to not thoroughly inspecting the ring before sending it back from the manufacturer. After some convincing, he agreed to have a new setting made and sent to us. The convincing took place after Burke accused us that we were trying to "make him a scapegoat" for a new ring, and that "there is nothing wrong with this ring, and I think there is more to this story than you are telling me." So here we are again, sending the ring back for a fourth time. 6 weeks later the ring arrives, and we notice it is the same exact setting, although it does look like it was polished. We reached out to Burke expressing our concern, citing our conversation in which he agreed to provide us with a new ring. He told us he "sent the ring under the same understanding and that they (the manufacturer) said the ring didn't have any issues. They also refused to make a new ring, although they did check all of the diamonds and integrity of the ring." He also told us "I can only go on what the manufacturer does, and I think thats the best thing we can do. I really feel you won't have any problems other than normal wear and tear." All of this consisted over a time period of over 6 months because they were not very communicative, rarely answered the phone for my fiance, and mainly responded through text messages. My fiancé ordered this ring from Mountain West Jewelers after his mother highly recommended them, but we're shocked by the terrible experience that we've had with their customer service, and the quality of the ring itself.

We didn't know what to expect but have seen his items on TikTok so knew he was legit. William gave us a residential address and we got there in 20 minutes from the city of Vernal. He had all his wares displayed and though a little rustic the experience was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. William had many dinosaur fossils, jewelry pieces and other types of relics found on private land. It was amazing to see the different pieces and hear about the origins of items of teeth, bones, oceanarium type artifacts. Jewelry pieces are made from fossils and definitely you could see the time and energy put into each item. Since William is a small business with pop up shops his prices are affordable. Inventory does change frequently. His passion and love for dinosaurs is infectious. If you have time he is a good resource for dinosaur information and souvenirs.
