Do not purchase Lowes Appliances! DO NOT USE XDT Delivery Services. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Lowe's Easton. As a loyal customer who's purchased over 20 appliances from your store, I've generally had okay customer service. However, my recent experience with the appliance center has been unacceptable. We purchased a standard range 3-4 months ago and were told that we had to arrange our own delivery. We picked it up without issue. Fast forward to November 25, we received a refrigerator with a non-working ice maker. The store was nice enough to request a replacement, which arrived on December 5. However, the delivery team from DTS was rude and condescending. When they delivered the replacement fridge, they left without completing the installation, leaving the plastic on and handles unattached. The customer service team from DTS called me, disconnected the call twice, and then offered to send someone out on December 11 to finish the job, which I found unacceptable. They then said to go through Lowe's for resolution while Lowe's was on speaker phone with me. I contacted Lowe's, and the manager, Josh, told me that there's nothing they can do, citing that the sale was finalized with the Warehouse, not the store. He refused to offer a credit for the inconvenience or take back the fridge. I was shocked that he seemed to brush off my concerns, stating that he's had numerous customers with similar issues. I then called Lowe's customer service at 1-800-445-6937 and requested to speak with the Columbus district manager. The agent started a case, but her manager refused to help, and I was told that there's no other manager available to call me back. When I asked about the "deliver and set up" service, she claimed it was just a courtesy and not a standard practice. To make matters worse, I was put on hold for over 10 minutes and then hung up on. I have video evidence of all my interactions, and it's clear that I'm not being heard. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service and would like someone to address these issues and provide a resolution. I'm requesting that Lowe's takes responsibility for the poor service, provides a credit for the inconvenience, and ensures that their delivery teams are properly trained to complete installations correctly. Update: I called Lowe's customer service again at 1-800-445-6937, and it seems like they were more interested in closing shop at 7:00 pm than addressing my issue. The agent seemed to pretend I wasn't on the phone, effectively hanging up on me without resolving anything. This is unacceptable, especially since I've been waiting for a callback. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the lack of service and concern shown by Lowe's customer service team. Update: Lowes Customer Service stated the delivery fee includes just the delivery they information from the website and sales person's in the story is a courtesy and not required! Delivery Includes: Basic installation (only available in select markets) Connection of appliance to existing water source and ice maker or ice and water dispenser connections (if applicable) Unboxing and inspection of your appliance; confirmation of make and model Inspection of the appliance for visible damage (excludes appliances purchased in Lowe's Outlet locations) Removal of packaging from your home Removal of your existing refrigerator if haul away is purchased (customers must uninstall, empty and defrost product prior to haul away) Level and test of the appliance to ensure it's connected properly Connection of anti-tip bracket, if included Basic product demonstration and testing of the appliance to ensure proper connection Relocation of an old freestanding appliance within the same residence (reconnection not included) read more

Lowe's has once again disappointed me. Last time it was when I ordered a replacement stove in Oct and had to cook thanksgiving with out it because it got lost between here and there, or something to that affect. This time it is about their selling door hardware sets and have no ability to key them alike. You can order them keyed alike but Lowe's doesn't bother to tell you this. When I was finally able to return it they couldn't return or exchange it cause it was over 48 hours. This is the only way I had to cool my house down. If you are ever shopping here and need the assistance of a sales clerk, but don't want to walk halfway across the store to find one, do this simple solution. Put on a cap or hat, load something expensive into your cart, and walk around the same two or more aisles several times. Or better yet, do this with an empty storage box in your cart if you happen to be in that area. The bird-dogs on high who watch for thieves will have someone swoop down on you and politely get in your face within minutes. And once you get the help you need, they will still follow you around like you are about to steal something, all the way to the check out. read more

I purchased a riding lawn mower online from the Texas City Store. Their delivery team, XPO, was extremely late on the first delivery date July 23. I had to reschedule because they could not tell when they would deliver that day, at almost 8PM I rescheduled. On July 28 XPO delivered the mower. The delivery guys dropped it off then got in the truck to leave. I stopped them and told the delivery guys it was damaged. When I opened the hood the grill fall off the mower. They told me to call customer service that they would offer an exchange, a discount or refund. I called customer service they said call Lowes. I was told by Lowes that someone would call me within 24 hours to make schedule a pickup for the mower. 24 + 1 hours later no call. I called Lowes the lady that assisted me attempted find an exchange, but was unable. I requested a full refund. She advised someone would call me within 24 hours to schedule a pick up. But if I did not get a call by Sunday to call them. Sunday came no phone call by 10AM. I called Lowes and was told someone would call by 5PM. At 6:20 PM no call. I called them back and was told some one would call to schedule the pickup. Still no call, still no refund. Be very cautious when ordering things from Lowes! When you shop in the store, it seems if a employee sees you they will go the other direction. If you get any one to stop and possibly help, they almost always reply, "let me find someone that works this department". Why was that employee in that department? I know Covid is a concern but that is no reason for employees to be rude or unhelpful! I think I will start driving the extra distance to go to Home Depot from now on! read more

I am entirely frustrated about Lowe's Customer service ... and delivery They delivered not one but 2 refrigerators to my home in Pirates Beach on last Friday . One was brought in , it was defective ! I asked the guys to just bring the other up my steps to replace but they said they could not as it was not protocol.they left me with a defective 27 cu ft refrigerator sitting in my kitchen , said I need an exchange ( not a repair ) 4 deliveries later every other day and several charges to my visa for all these exchange refrigerators, and still no exchange. Said they needed 4 men to bring up the steps ... they never came I and my family who are visiting from Out of town have been hostaged for a week now. Waiting for deliveries . There is still a new refrigerator in my garage that no one will come and move in . I am so so angry from the Customer service to the XDT delivery. No care . I'll never shop Lowe's again in my life. This place has gone down hill. I worked here in 2018 with a great group of people. We strived to provide great customer service. Today I went there w/my husband. Most of my coworkers are now gone. They have new ppl there that have no idea what customer service is about. There were 3 loaders at the front gates of garden center sitting around & on cell phones & talking amongst each other.I asked if they can please help with loading the items to back of our truck (husband is disabled veteran & has bad hip/back) they never gave me an answer. As I stood nearby, "Myles" told the other guy "Glen",,,,,,"They always wanting us to help, which one of you gonna do it?" They all just stood around and said neither of us." One of our items was damaged and husband requested if it could be exchanged out. Cashier asked one of the three if they could please do it. They all just stood around, not one volunteered. She finally offered the damaged item to us for half price because she said she could not go here self. Y'all hired a bunch of young ppl who you always see gathered around in groups chit chatting and paying no mind. Customer service sucks at this place now. Getting service at Lowe's is almost next to impossible. I would give this Lowe's zero stars if I was able. We were there today to buy a smart lock for a door. I had to find an employee to help us as they do not seek customers out to assist them. Lowe's had a lock on display but the employee said they no longer carried it. So why advertise it? In the past year, we have had screw up after screw up with this Lowe's. Selling us an appliance that they could no longer get, setting up deliveries but not having what I ordered on the truck, and installing a door without the complete order. Getting a manager to do anything is a joke. Promised phone calls...no calls. We will now be taking our business elsewhere from now on. Do yourself a favor, skip Lowe's. I paid several hundred dollars for Larson Storm doors in December 2020. In less than a year, the installation has failed. The wood the installer used is separating from the door, the screws are falling out and the hidden closure has failed. I called Larson and they sent me to Lowes. I called Lowes and Lowes sent me to ISS installation. I held for ISS installation for 90 minutes only to be transferred again to customer service, then back to a manager in installation only to be told, even though my product was only a few weeks out of warranty THEY CAN DO NOTHING FOR ME. I have dealt with Samsung , Larson and many other companies who bent over backwards to help when only a few days or weeks out of warranty. NOT LOWES!!!! My relationship with Lowes and their product installation after many years has officially ended. DO BETTER! Times are hard and people have no money to give to big corporations who are flush with it. After being on hold for 10 minutes, I finally spoke to someone. I said, "I have a question about delivery, but I haven't purchased..." Before I could finish the sentence, she transferred me to the deliveries desk. After another long wait, I finally talked to someone, who of course said he couldn't help me, as it wasn't the right department. So he sent me back to the same person in customer service. On March 25,2021, employee by the name of Robert Woody hit my mail box damaging it. (Have it on video). The employee first told a lie and said the company (Lowes) do not have insurance to cover it and he will be willing to pay out of pocket for it. After exchanging numbers, he went ghost and never returned my calls for a week. After speaking to a manager at the store, a claim was filed and person by the name of Courtney Dixon would be the person handling this issue and cutting the check. Courtney said as soon as she receives the estimate of repairs from the mailbox company, she will cut the check. CHECK WAS NEVER CUT. She claims she never received the estimated from the mailbox repair company. However, we have proofed the email was sent!! Seeing all the negative remarks here from customers: Look - it is not the employee's fault there are not enough people to wait on you. You need to contact the General Office and tell them to hire more help - which they will not do as they do not care about the customer's needs there. I went to plumbing and there was only one associate in the entire department, and there were around 4 to a half dozen people with their "problems" they brought in with them. This associate was overwhelmed and no management was in sight to help the poor guy. He did his best though with the phone ringing nonstop and bells for help going off - it is the management which has the problems and they are taking advantage of their help - I found what I wanted myself as I am familiar with plumbing and then two customers waiting to be helped asked me to help them. I went to the kohler web sight and the part number was the one I ordered and showed the size that I wanted. they said that it had been waiting for me since january. which was wrong cause I didn't order it till july. Do NOT purchase a home installation project from this store! I ordered a 14 ft section of PVC fencing in August 2017. To get a 10% discount, the salesman talked me into getting a Lowe's card. The catch was: I had to pay the full bill by the promised installation date of mid-September. The materials arrived in mid-October, but salesman neglected a minor item- the fence posts! After another month of waiting for fence posts, the installers discovered the salesman (who had forgotten the fence posts), mismeasured the length of the fence by two feet. I had trouble with their installer, who was a sub-contractor. It took them a month to finish the job and they left a mess, with fence post-holes only partially filled in and piles of dirt and sand covering parts of my yard and the sidewalk in front of the house. In sum, a poorly-installed job was finished in 4 months. I will never shop at Lowe's again. read more
