It seems like every time we go in here is another reason to get annoyed. Disinterested staff & not knowledgeable. We've have issues consistently & keep going back because it's convenient to where we live. Today, my husband had to get out & load everything himself. Nobody even acted like they wanted to help. Two employees were actually playing Tic Tac Toe instead of paying attention to their customers. Not again! All done now. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

Horrible customer service. Nobody working in garden center, went in and paid for mulch, was told an associate would be right there. Nobody ever came and couldn't get a person on the phone. Went back inside, found an associate, they said they would send someone, went back, nobody ever came...finally went in and got a refund. Won't be back. read more

My wife and I hired LOWES as a contractor for removal and installation of new counter tops and backsplash. LOWES forces consumers to pay for everything in advance, before they will schedule your job. Total charges for removal of counter tops and removal of backsplash 1650.00. The LOWES contractor demo and granite installer, broke the electric box's during the demo. These outlets were on the backsplash that was removed. These installers made a large mistake after completion of counter tops. They didn't cut sink correctly and had to redo this 4 days later. After this mistake we had to reschedule the tile backsplash installer. On 09/16/2024, tile backsplash contractor discovered the broken electric box's at 3 outlets. We attempted to call local Lowe's Palestine TX. Scott Givens, the manager he would not return calls. So I reported to BBB. The next person that called me was Executive Customer Relations Jeff Thomas. Communicating with Jeff Thomas was a total waste of my time. It's evident he just is someone whom delays consumers. Jeff asked for pics of outlets electric box's that were broken. I provided those for him. During my conversations with Jeff, he was not helpful! All he did was delay. First he wanted me to perform these repairs. Secondly he wanted me to have 3 electricians come give bids. I suggested his store mgr at Palestine Tx. arrange to send three electricians to my home or send electrician over to repairs. LOWES seems to think consumers work for them. This is amusing because LOWES contract we signed states clearly, if the consumer hires a contractor or attempts to repair items LOWES WILL NO LONGER BE RESPONSIBLE! Although I attempted to work with LOWES, no realistic solution was offered by Lowes. This was all a delay tactic. Mr.James considers this closed. I purchased a stove at this location on 6/27, after realizing home not equipped for gas I contacted store IMMEDIATELY SPOKE TO ASHLEY AND EMILY on 6/27. lowes Came and delivered 2 stoves on 6/27 , I did not order two stoves so they took only one back. I was upset as both should have been removed from home. I am elderly and cannot get this stove to store. I am now stuck with a stove I canceled and nowhere on my receipt do it say I have 48 hours to return. I spoke to manager Asley the same day who said it would be cancelled so why am I stuck with a new stove. I have been trying to return this store for over 30 days. This is unbelievable . spoke to Emily at store. store manager Ashley. NO WHERE ON THE RECEIPT DO IT SAY 48 HOURS FOR RETURN AND WHY WAS TWO STOVES SENT TO HOME THE SAME DAY. Since Lowe's in Palestine happens to be the largest home, garden, and building center in our city it is the most frequented. However this Lowe's is one of the worst as far as placing orders and receiving what you ordered and then trying to get it straightened out. Just recently I purchased a Zero Turn Mower which I requested from unassembled stock, since the ones outside were covered in bird crap and other weathered substances. Delivery was set up for the following Tuesday since I has purchased it on a Friday. According to the information they give you you are supposed to be contacted the night before delivery the next day. This never happened, in fact my mower was never delivered as scheduled and I was never communicated what happened to it. I couldn't reach anyone at the store so I called customer service and was advised that in order to be in the queue there would be a 37 minute wait. I opted for a call back. I talked to a very nice and helpful guy and did my best to explain to him my situation. When he asked for my location and I told him his response was "Oh Yeah, that Palestine store!" Which intimated to me that he had gotten other complaints on this store. He advised me that he was sending a message to the store about my order, and if I hadn't been contacted by them to call him back. The next day I received a text message saying that my order had been delivered. However after searching my yard I could find no evidence of anything having been delivered. So I get dressed and go into town, since I live 8 miles from the store. Upon getting there I again waited in line for my turn at the service counter. I communicated and showed them the text I had received indicating my order had been delivered when in fact it hadn't. The person there "Jason" informed me that it was just a computer error. So. When can I really expect delivery of my mower, at which time he told me that it was on the truck and that they had been having problems with the truck. Why wasn't I "the Customer" informed of delays and computer errors. As of this writing I am still waiting on my mower to be delivered! read more

Labor Day weekend and only one person to check people out? 8 people in line. Long wait. Saturday before Easter 1 lane open for check out. Long, long line. One worker with white hair and white beard standing in same place for 30 minutes. Watching as people ask where things are. He's great at pointing. Not once does he walk or move to help people find anything. People are leaving stuff at checkout lane and walking out. Hope manager is reading this! read more

Bought a dishwasher. Sales person checked and made sure they had one. Set up a delivery date. Day of delivery they called and said they didn't have one but 2 were coming on the truck and we set another date. Got called that day and said that is was dented. Ordered another. Called customer service that said a manager would call us in 24 hours. 2 days later somebody called abnd said they said they would call when they got one. Got a call yesterday for a delivery today. We called today and no delivery. They say next week. I have been pleased with every person that i have dealt with in the past. I think Undercover Boss needs to look at their system. I have already paid for my dishwasher but have no confidence that I will see one. Do not buy anything from Lowe's unless you can take it home yourself. read more

This Lowe's location was excellent. I went on a Saturday afternoon with my grandmother to get a few things for her little home improvement projects. There were very few customers in the store but numerous employees lining the aisles. We had to ask where a few things were since I was not familiar with this particular Lowe's layout and both employees we received help from made sure we had found our items before they left our side. We found everything we needed and were out of the store quickly. There was very little wait at the register and all-in-all it was a very pleasant experience. read more

Everyone is always very helpful and cheery. Never had a bad visit, which is usually once or twice a week.

I was in need of restroom and it was barricaded off I had to leave store with full cart of merchandise to find another restroom facility because it could not wait. I wish manager could delegate cleaning restrooms before opening and find solution other than closing down only functioning restroom for custodial services. This ruined my shopping experience and I will not be going back to this store again. read more

Bought a Samsung dryer at Palestine Lowes. Got it home and it was dented. Called the store and talked to a manager named Jason. He said il could exchange it or get 10% off. Didn't want to make another 40 mile trip so I decided on the discount. I wired up the power cord and plugged it in and the dent must have affected the drum because it was noisy. I called Jason back and explained the situation. He said bring it back or they would pick it up in a few days. Waiting wasn't an option so I took it back. He exchanged without a problem and even gave me the 10%discount for all the trouble I had. Usually Lowes is a mundane experience but this was an exception. It's Easter Sunday and they said they were open online till 7pm, so I went. Come to find out they closed at 6pm with no sign posted on there door. When I asked why they weren't open, a lady claimed they had posted it online and on there door in a snooty, defensive tone, when in fact they did not. It's safe to say I will not be wasting my time coming here again. There are other hardware stores that have better customer service that what they showed me when I called. read more
