Some young man came up looking lost and said he would take the paint and tint. went back to look at doors and I saw a lady talking to a woman and a young child speaking about a recent trip. The new castle location has had the best service in a long time. They are patient and helpful hands down. We moved into a new house and they helped with all my contractor hardship. Value is there by having knowledgeable members, and always price match. However moving their credit card to a new provider is the worst corporate decision. I deferred appliances and having paper is helpful. This $1.99 fee is ridiculous as it is all easy income. The staff at this lowes is amazing! I tend to not ask for help in stores very often but if I'm ever really stumped and need help, the employees here are always so kind and helpful! I wish I could remember the guy who helped me the other day finding a new halloween lantern I saw on their website. He looked it up to make sure they had some in stock and even helped me look for several minutes to the point I felt bad keeping him from his work. We did end up finding what I was after but even if we didn't he was so nice I wouldn't have been upset! The houseplants I buy here have always been quite healthy as well! I wish they were a bit better labeled rather than things like "assorted houseplant" but that's not the fault of this place, just the lowes suppliers. Not a huge deal, the plants are healthy and decent prices. Sometimes they are a bit root bound but repotting isn't an issue for me and the plants are always fine after. read more

We recently purchased a new expensive washer/dryer combo! The communication had been horrible with delivery. They missed the first delivery scheduled time. The delivery company for Lowe's is a third party company. They have poor communication. Unfortunately, they don't speak much English so much miscommunication. They told Lowe's that my husband locked them in our garage and won't let them leave because he shut garage door because it was pouring down rain. He didn't want the brand washer/dryer combo to be soaked. The product they deliver was out of box delivered and has a huge scratch on door on plastic and chips in paint on outside. They could care less, Lowes isn't holding delivery company accountable for product damage. Why would I send money on new appliances for them to be damage at delivery! read more

Do not order appliances from Lowes. You will be promised a date and have a contract for a date and you will not receive it. My first date Oct.9th I received my frig and it was damaged. Then you try and get another date and will be told one thing and doesn't arrive that date. You are told to do all the calling to their warehouses where you will be disconnected. Finally after a week I got another date that is over 3 weeks out. I have a kitchen install within 2 weeks and can not wait. I then have to call relentlessly to get some help. After a week and half of calling, I call from a person at Boardman warehouse that I will get the frig on Oct. 20th. I also get an email and phone call to confirm and wait until 8:30pm on the Friday night. I call that night and I am told that it was not put on the truck! There was no phone call or email to tell me this. Their delivery and customer service is horrible and to not offer any monetary compensation when contracts have been broken. I ordered at Lowes McCandless and I am also dealing with the Lowes Boardman Ohio warehouse. read more
