When I went to checkout there was only one self checkout that took cash. The line was 8 deep to get to that one register. And the kicker was there were no staffed registers at the front of the store. A manager walked by and a person in the line politely asked if he was going to open a register. The manager stopped, looked and then kept walking. As a result most of the line set there items down. We have been to SEVERAL different Lowes over the years. This by far is the BEST one. The customer service, quality of service, the patience, the team, etc. They go ABOVE and BEYOND every time my family enters this store. To the smallest of questions to big projects around the house, they been always been able to answer our questions. A few staff that stand out, Terry (all around great employee). Cannot think of her name (She assisted us with the DIY kids project with the aprons), she is one of the managers, amazing. The managers have all been outstanding. We ordered a refrigerator during the memorial day sale. It's now July, and we still do not have our refrigerator. They've rescheduled delivery date SIX times now. We did finally get the refrigerator in our driveway two days ago, but once unboxed it was significantly damaged. So we refused it. THEN we were told by the delivery team and the Lowe's store that we would receive our new one today. It's today and no refrigerator. They never even actually put in for the "exchange" AND they don't even have the refrigerator in stock at the Nashville warehouse. Now our new delivery date is 7/13. There are so many disconnects in communication with this company IF you can even get anyone on the phone to communicate with at the Lowe's store. Once you do get someone on the phone, no one can help you. It's insane. Worst experience. WORST. read more

I went two weeks ago for some ply wood and shingles,paid for everything with my lowes card,including a 75 delivery fee.They were supposed to delivery my stuff on may 9th between 8 am and 8 pm,no one ever showed up.i took off work to stay and wait for the delivery,tried calling several times and never could get anyone to answer the phone. So the next day I physically went to the store to complain,was told that no one ever came to pick up the delivery to bring it and they apologized and said that they would take off the delivery charge and that it would for sure be delivered today on may 16th,again between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm. I'm still waiting, still trying to call and can't get anyone to answer the phone yet again.I can't get anyone on the phone which is crazy I spent almost 500.00,and this is just bad business. My contractor that I've hired is still waiting while my roof is leaking I spent my hard earned money here and I will not be back,home depot is the only place I'll go.i plan on going to the store tomorrow and asking for a refund on the entire order,all of the inconvenience is just insane,having to wait and wait and not be able to leave bc they keep lieing about the delivery time.and I also plan on canceling my credit card bc it's pointless to have if I can't get correct service. I went to Lowe's and bought a few miscellaneous items. I used the self checkout. When I got home, I was missing an item (my fault, no doubt). I tried calling Lowe's to see if my item was located, but apparently, Lowe's does not employ anyone with a job description of "answering the phone," no matter how many times a person calls. The automated answering "THING" is hard enough to navigate. Add the "I still can't reach a human" on top of it, and that puts their customer service by phone rating in the SUCKS category. Can you give a business zero stars? What has happened to Lowe's in Bowling Green? If it was just a hot mess we could maybe say it was due to lack of workforce since COVID. But the majority of the staff is offensive, rude, will hang up when they don't want to address an issue. They have minus zero customer service, bordering on verbally abusive answers. Gary B. 4/17/2023 Lowe's of Glasgow has been off my shopping list for four or five years. Bought flooring for the kitchen, dining room, and laundry. The people they sent to install were the worst possible. They did not put down the subfloor correctly and edges of the tile were standing up to cause a person to fall. When I insisted the manager to come upstairs and watch the video on YouTube and see the floor was not put down properly. He refused and I told them all to get out. On top of that, they did not seal the rest of the house off to keep the dust out. I told the guy in the garage not to sweep in there and he did it anyway. read more

Like so many others, please do NOT go to the Lowe's in Bowling Green, KY. We have spent thousands of dollars at Lowe's during a recent complete house renovation. But this last encounter takes the cake! We ordered two vanities online to be delivered to our home. Delivery, on the app, said it was 10/20. The afternoon of 10/20 I called the online store and they said the delivery would be the following Monday, 10/23. My husband and I both took off work and happened to be at the house being renovated when the truck arrived. The delivery guy was nice and when we got in the house we opened the boxes while he was there. The tops of the vanities were broken. I asked him to take them back and he said that wasn't what he did and for us to call the online store. I called the online store and they apologized and said that someone from the local, Bowling Green, store would call me within 24 hours. When no one called within 24 hours, I called the afternoon of 10/24. The automated response finally navigated me to a phone which put me on hold. There is no "on hold" music, so you're not sure if it's still working or not, but I kept holding. 20 minutes later, I got a work call and had to hang up. While I answered the work call, I decided to just drive to the store. When I hung up from my work call, I called the store again. Again I was put on hold. After 8 minutes I was pulling into the parking lot when a lady came on the phone. She was very nice and assured me that the truck would be to pick up the vanities on Thursday. I told my contractor, so he could have the guys back to put in flooring. Because these vanities are sitting in the middle of the construction space and flooring can't be laid because they are in the way. Thursday came and by that evening the truck never came. I called three times from about 6:30p-7:30p. There was no answer and the phone just cut off and I was hung up on once. Again I just went to the store. When I arrived, the young lady behind the return counter was very nice and tried to help but it was above her paygrade so she called someone else. This other young man came and he couldn't help as well so he called the manager (on the walkie talkie). He explained the situation and the "manager" said (I don't do installations, tell her she's going to have to wait). The nice young gentleman standing in front of me said "She doesn't want an installation, she wants us to pick up the broken vanities that we were supposed to pick up today". The manager then went into a rant about how he doesn't do installations and can't do anything with this and the person in charge of deliveries hasn't been doing their job. He then said "Just get her information and I'll call her tomorrow and give her some money off". The young man told him that I wasn't on the phone but that I was there in person. The "manager" then came back and said to get my information and he'd call me tomorrow. I gave him my information. I had no call from anyone from Lowe's on Friday. So I called again on Friday afternoon. After two dropped calls I finally got someone. She knew my name and said she apologized but that they would send a truck on Saturday if that's what I wanted. I reiterated to her that I wanted these vanities picked up because now my contractor was having workers coming to the house when i tell him that these vanities are going to be removed and then they can't lay the floor. She assured me that the truck would be there on Saturday 10/28. At the end of Saturday there was no truck. I then called the online store again and told them the situation. The lady that answered was very sorry and she said that she had NOTES that said that THEY called me and told me that the truck would be there 10/31. I told her that I hoped the line was being recorded because that was not even close to the truth! That I had not heard from anyone from Lowe's and that I had never been told 10/31. She said she'd make a note but that was about all she could do. So now we wait until tomorrow, 10/31 and to see if a truck pulls up to load the vanities and get refunded! read more

Ordered a product from Lowes that was special order. Received confirmation that the product was ready for pickup at the customer service desk. The customer service person at the desk, Kim, was rude. No one knew where the product was at. Finally found the small package in the back of the store. Last week when I was in this same store I asked for help from an associate on the floor. He literally told me he had no idea where the product was. I said, "can you help me find it?" Literally, the young man said, "no." Went to another associate, told him about the situation and nothing! Couldn't get any help. Had over 200 dollars of paint that needed tinted. Paint counter unstaffed. Went to customer service three times for help. Got "we paged their phone". Really. Thirty minutes no one cared no one came to help. But seen many employees walking in pair talking and laughing guess they get paid for that instead of customer service. read more

I am very disappointed with this branch. we ordered a fridge for our new house. it started forming ice on the freezer and it was making sounds. we went back to lowes to have it replace since its on a 30 day warranty. we were told that a new one will be delivered on either dec 3 or 4. on dec 3, we missed a call at 0700 AM and when we called back at 0900 AM, the delivery dept said they can't make it since they're out of people so they're gonna deliver on dec 10 instead. I explained the situation and asked them if they could prioritize us and they said they will try. It wasn't delivered. Come dec 10 and still no delivery so my husband called and talked to the manager. No delivery was scheduled at all! They are probably just making excuses for their inadequacy. But that's stupid coz we personally went to the store and have that scheduled. It's on their computer system. It should be a priority since it's a replacement. It will be another week before they deliver! So we are not priority at all. maybe because they already sold the item to us so they no longer care! I purchased a washing machine from the Bowling Green, KY Lowes. Delivery was scheduled for Saturday, April 10, 2021. My receipt stated that I would be contacted about my delivery window. This never happened. I called the appliance delivery manager and was told my washer was "near" the back so it would be later in the afternoon. I asked if he could be more specific but he said no. Around 3:45 pm my husband called the appliance manager again because again, no one had contacted us and found out our washer was the LAST one on the truck. At 5:30 we were finally contacted that delivery would be within the hour. It is 5:43 and no sign of the truck. At 6:00 the delivery people called and arrived about 15 minutes later, many hours after my delivery window. During this experience it became very clear that too many orders were put on the truck and no effort was made to communicate with customers. I had a dryer delivered by Home Depot the day before with no problem so I don't think there is an acceptable explanation for Lowe's dismal customer service.  Lowe's will not be receiving future business from us including our planned purchases of kitchen appliances. read more

I went to buy some concrete stain for a pretty big area around our pool area and back patio but I hadn't bought any there in like 2 years, so even though I knew the brand, Valspar, the packaging had been changed so I was needing help to make sure I bought the correct product. Anyway, there were 3 employees literally standing about a foot from me while I was trying to find the correct product, I could hear two of them talking about personal stuff, etc and none of them asked me if I needed help, so after a few minutes I asked two of them if they knew if I had picked out the right concrete stain and the two that were talking said I'm not sure. Like I said, the packaging had changed since I had lost bought it but I was able to be pretty sure it was correct, since I was buying several gallons at $45 a pop, I would've appreciated a little more help. read more

I have to start off by saying I can not make this story up. I and my husband had just bought our new house first house at that! We went to Lowe's to order the refrigerator that we needed within the next week or two. We found the perfect one, bought it, and set the delivery day. We leave knowing or thinking that everything was in line. The day comes to finally get the refrigerator and we get a call from Lowe's saying not only did they sell us an OUT OF STOCK refrigerator they have no ETA on when we can get one!!!!! My husband then hangs up the phone and goes to the store to see if this was real, sure enough, it was in fact true. How this could happen we have no clue but the only thing they did to help us out or solve the problem was give us our money back and send us on our way. Nothing was ever brought to the table to see if they could make it right nothing. Mind you he talked to the manager and department manager and this was our outcome. Super disappointed and having a hard time going back. read more
