However, I know about the town, and the pub, so I decided to check it out. Well, as a pub, it actually wasn't all that bad. The Two Wells Tavern still has some country charm about it, but they have added a beer garden that makes you feel like you are still in the city. Okay, while the beer garden may look really new, the interior seems like it has changed little for the days that it was first built. They also have a bottle shop in the building so you can take some beer home after a couple of drinks at the bar. Okay, it is a little out of the city, but it still has a really nice charm about the place.

In part it felt like an inner-city pub, yet it still retained that rural feeling about it, probably because there was a building out the back called 'The Barn' that happened to be a function room (and there was also a barbecue under the shelter). Okay, it still seemed to be a place where the locals would sit at the bar chatting with the bartender, but I didn't let that get to me, especially with the lounge area sporting some rather interesting artwork.

This pub is sort of one of those pubs that you do have to time yourself when entering, because there have been times that I have walked inside, looked around, and said 'nope, I think I'll go elsewhere'. In fact it was probably one of the scariest pubs that I have ever visited, and I have been to some hair-raising ones in my time. In fact walking across the parking lot to the door felt a little bit dangerous, and upon glacing inside the sports bar decided that maybe that wouldn't be the safest place to have a drink, so I ended up going to the restaurant area where the elderly were having a game a bingo. Seriously, this is not a place that I would recommend visiting even if you lived in the area (though if you did I would be surprised if you were using Yelp).
