Fast forward to this morning 7/6 I wake up and the diamond is now embedded in my skin. I call Carnivale at 3:01 PM the person on the phone informs me that the piercer won't be in until 5. I explain the situation to her and she's like you know what can you come in a little early and let me take a look at it. If I can fix it cool if I can't you can wait til the piercer gets her. I get there at 4 and they're busy so it takes 15 minutes for someone to greet me. At 4:15 I'm then informed that the "piercer"' won't be in until 5. That I know but I explain to them that someone told me to come in early. They proceed to say she had a lot of people call about piercings and she tried to call everyone back because she had to leave (family emergency). But Christy will be here at 5. Again I explain the severity of the situation to them and I'm okay with waiting on said piercer to get there. 20 minutes later she comes up to me with the phone in her hand asking if I can come tomorrow! TOMORROW! What part of this jewelry is embedded in my skin don't you get! So clearly I'm pissed at this point and I just leave because I was 2 seconds from going off on everyone. Oh let me add that to when I noticed the jewelry was stuck in my skin I wrote the piercer on Instagram (the page she gave me so I could write her with questions and or concerns). Anyway, I call a shop up the street and explain my situation to which they tell me to come on now. I get there and lay on the chair only for them to inform me that not only did Christy not use a long enough ring to combat any swelling with the new piercing but she also PIERCED MY STOMACH!!!! We went to a few other shops in the area and by far this was the best and most professional shop we found. And the business is not closed! I have about 30 hours of tattoos, so have had my fair share of experience in shops. The prices are pretty amazing for the quality with a very reasonable shop minimum. The artwork is actually drawn up and not just printed off and they don't try to up sell you saying your tattoo has to be the length of your entire arm like the shop up the street... cough cough Our tattoos have healed nicely and everything was super sanitary. Also, love the artwork hung around the shop and the decor. If you're looking for a good place to get a tattoo in the ocean springs Biloxi area this should be your go to.
