I would say it takes roughly half an hour, talking over your family pet, as they calmly give your family pet a three step process. Dr Martin was very gentle with our family dog Miles and as we spent our last moments with him, she peacefully sedated him, as well as talked us through their process. Instead of putting your dog and your family through the stresses of a veterinary office definitely give A Peaceful Process a call. You can schedule your appointment online and the will work with your schedule. This isn't the easiest review to make but when it comes to your family pets calm and restful passing, as well as your mindset going through losing wha most would say is a member of your family, this is the way to go about that.

The family was extremely saddened having to put our beloved Maggie down. Dr. Martin arrived and explained the entire process. She also fielded concerns each of us had. We truly got the feeling Dr. Martin was a caring individual who regarded the animal as a loving member of our family. As much as we regret the loss of Maggie we can't begin to express the compassion, and love displayed by Dr. Martin. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you.

I cannot express my gratitude enough for this place. When almost every vet clinics/hospitals I've…read morecalled is fully booked and/or not taking in new patients, they took us in for my dog's spay appointment. They handled my dog with such care that she was in high spirits and healed properly after. I believe they love and genuinely care about everyone's pets and I'm grateful I found them. The place is tiny but clean and organized. The ladies at the front desk are not so friendly but the ones in the back are super nice and friendly. Might be from dealing with customers all day, exhaustion or whatever but they are not rude or anything. They are not just welcoming at all. Other than that, I think this place amazing and I highly recommend it.

Since I couldn't go in person, a family member took her back to the clinic. The veterinarian told them that our dog would need another surgery to re-stitch the wound, at nearly the same cost as the original procedure. When I finally had time to call to get clarity directly from the vet, I started by explaining what I understood and asked for the details. Instead of helping, Maddy responded with, "Did they not explain it to you when you came in?" I told her I wasn't the one who brought our dog in, and she followed up with, "Did they not explain it to your family member?" and, "That's why you should be present for the appointments." I explained that I was calling now to understand my own dog's medical situation, and she then informed me that the clinician would not be available for the rest of the day. Her attitude throughout the call was dismissive, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. I sincerely hope her behavior is not representative of the clinic as a whole. I would take your animal elsewhere if you care about them.

We were dealing with an emergency situation with our 18-year-old fur baby, and they went above and beyond to help make sure we could get in when we needed it most. Everyone we encountered was kind, professional, and compassionate during such a difficult time. A special thank you to Dr. Blair (I hope I'm spelling the name correctly), who delivered the inevitable bad news with such care and understanding. As heartbreaking as the situation was, Dr. Blair gave us the facts we needed in a way that was honest, gentle, and not overwhelming. That compassion made an incredibly painful moment a little easier to process. I hope you get to see her when you have to visit the hospital...Otherwise I hope you never have to take your pet to any hospital. We are so grateful for the support, empathy, and dignity they showed both our pet and our family. Thank you Dr. Blair for helping us move forward with love and clarity during one of the harder moments we will face. Last note : Arrive early for any walk ins. Dr. Takata shared her findings from lab work and ultrasound which showed our dog was not clotting, had a dangerously low blood count, and an opaque bladder ultrasound. Possible cancer. We made the difficult decision to stop treatment and say goodbye to our girl. They were caring throughout the process. I imagine it is difficult for the staff as well as us. Thank you Dr. Takata and the staff at VCA.
