I love their emphasis on environmentally sound practices and I can't stress enough how good the food is! None of three of us who went are vegans (I'm pescatarian and the other two also eat meat), but we loved the food and all agreed we would definitely want to go back on our next trip to the Ostsee. I messed the euro to dollar conversion and only realized when we were back on the Autobahn that I hadn't tipped - so embarrassing! I'll have to remember to make up for it the next time I go. The food is very reasonably priced and exceptionally high quality, plus the cook and her husband are a really friendly couple. I'd strongly recommend checking this restaurant out!

He also talked us out of ordering way too much food (thankfully), and helped us buy some beers to go with the vegan and regular currywursts. They have a menu with quite a few vegan selections. I wish I had time to eat there once more before I left Luneburg. It's in my list of I make it back... I'm coming for that chili and another currywurst!

It was packed the whole time we were there and it's a relatively young crowd. I had the club sandwich special and my wife had the quiche of the day. The potstickers are amazing, the curry was scrumptious and everything was extremely beautifully prepared and fresh. My boyfriend also enjoyed the wonton soup. The papaya salad was amazing as well. Everything came out very quickly- we were impressed by the quick and attentive service. You would not notice it's a vegan restaurant because the food is so delicious.
