we are still on a waiting list at another day care they dont know when a spot will become available and I'm starting a new job soon. i went to this place this morning (8/8/16) to get information. when you walk-in you immediately see the first two classrooms, for example, the first classroom on the left hand and another classroom straight in front of you. the office is on the right hand side. the facility is clean inside and out. unfortunately i witness an individual sitting on the floor with other children shouting across the room to another child "Get over there now!". The reason I said, "an individual" is because I don't know if the person is a teacher, mother, volunteer, and such. I can however, describe her to you. White female with long blonde hair--on this day she wore her hair in ponytail. She had on a short sleeve white top. since she was sitting on the floor with other children it was difficult to tell if she had on black slacks or black jeans and she's on the heavy side. Shouting across the room to another child is NEVER "OK" and its NOT appropriate. That is how you would speak to your own child but NEVER to someone else's child. I was there less than 2 minutes and walked out. I was never greeted by anyone. After witnessing this type of behavior I will not return nor will i enroll my child. It makes me wonder how often this type of behavior occurs when parents are not there and if the director does anything about it? *NOTE: Love what you do. Do your job well. It will never feel like a job. Don't be there to just collect a pay check. Otherwise, consider a new profession. read more
