Absolutely terrible experience with this center! Our son was here for less than two months and we had numerous issues. The problems began with the unfriendly staff members that rarely acknowledged us at drop-off. They watched us walk in and looked directly at us with him and never even said, "Hello." He was around 7 months when he began here and I spoke with the teachers and staff upon enrollment about my hopes and expectations for his development, yet we consistently found him plopped in a swing or bouncer when we came to pick him up. At this age, there was absolutely no reason he should be in this equipment. His name was spelled wrong on his crib for the duration of his time with them despite numerous corrections by our family.
The final straw occurred when I was called to pick him up with a fever. I immediately went to the center and picked him up. From there, he was taken directly to the pediatrician. The pediatrician let me know he did not have a fever (after multiple readings) and that in fact, if he had the fever they had said he did and it dropped that quickly from center to doctor, we likely had bigger problems. He was completely healthy. Being that I had recently started back to work, it was important that I not miss more time than necessary. I called the daycare and let them know I had documentation from the pediatrician and would be returning with my son. They told me this would be fine. However, when I arrived, I was immediately pulled into the Director's office (first time I ever saw her on premise) and was told they would not accept him back for the day despite the documentation. After a heated argument, which she chose to leave open to her staff to view and listen, we took his temperature again on their thermometer. He had no fever. He finished the week and began at a new center on Monday. Would not recommend. read more
