This may not be timely enough because we stayed at Lovett House 20 years ago! I'm writing now in the fervent hope that Lesley is still in business for our return to Nelson in a few months. I very much hope so. Not only is it a lovely, warm, welcoming, and very comfortable place at the center of things but Lesley is a fountain of knowledge about the town and Pendle in general. Stayed in Lovett house for several days whilst visiting Nelson for a funeral, and from the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. It's not a big place by any means, but what it loses in size it gains in charm, warmness, and cosiness. The room was lovely and well planned out. with freeview tv, microwave / oven combi, and fridge. The wifi connection there was also great (around 30mb), which was so welcome as my partner works online. A large Morrisons supermarket was a few minutes walk away, which saved us having to live on takeaways etc. The chances of returning to Nelson personally are slim, but I may even make an excuse just to return to Lovett House.
