The Auction won the wording clearly states the whole sofa not just the ottoman.
    Jay B.

Overall the employees are great there doing as there told. My issue is the auction was for the whole sofa and ottoman which in the picture shows. I get there they bring out just I ottoman I asked were the rest was he says that is all. I show him the invoice he says let me look at the auction which show the whole order shows the sofa and ottoman then he says it's not here just the ottoman. He says he is todays manager I ask him to check then he come back the page is changed I wish I took a screenshot of the actual bidding page because once. So take screenshots and hold them accountable. I will be fighting this and keep updates. If you bid on something you should get what you bid on nothing less

I don't think I will ever want to deal with Loveseat anymore. I paid over $1,500.00 on a coffee table which was described 'Appear New' and it was actually a damaged table. They didn't provide the photos of the damaged parts when they listed it and there is no way to see the real conditon when you place a bid. I refused it at the San Diego warehouse and send the photos of the damaged parts to the support team and requested a refund on this damaged table. I was told the request was under investigation. I sent another email to ask the status on my request and received the same answer. Finally I received an email today saying "Thank you for your patience. Unfortunately, we will not be able to issue a refund for LOT #731083, however, the item was resell on your behalf. This means that Items will be re-auctioned, and you will receive 50% of the proceeds once the customer who purchases the item/s pays their invoice in full. " I don't feel I was treated fairly. They told me that my request was under investigation and in the meantime they just put it in the auction and told me that I would only receive the 50% of the proceed. I was treated like a fool. I am so disappointed with the way they conduct their business. I am seeking an assitance from legal or consumer department. Any input is high appreciated! Be careful!

    This is what I got!

TLDR Summary: STAY AWAY. Wasted $100 in gas and numerous hours trying to get my items. FULL REVIEW: If there was ZERO or NEGATIVE stars, that would be my review. Wish I would have checked the reviews first. I even gave them a chance to make it right, and they screwed it up again. I've used online auction sites and been very happy with the results. Even when there has been an issue, customer service took care of it and even DROPPED my items off at my house!! Now that is service. Not Loveseat.com. I won a lot of 2 and a lot of 4 chairs, two "live edge" mirrors, and a fountain. Ready for this? I was given the two chairs, but told the lot of 4 chairs was not in the warehouse. I was told I would be given a refund. When I arrived home, the mirrors were not as pictured, but cheap wood that was definitely NOT live edge or anything like the picture. The fountain was broken beyond repair. I requested a refund for both items. I was told the mirror did look like the "retail" pictures. I returned to the auction to find a link to the mirrors on another site and it had both the misleading picture that Loveseat.com had used and a picture of the cheap mirrors I was given. My refund was denied. I was also informed I would have to return the busted fountain for a refund, so that's a $50, 2-hour round trip to get $70 bucks back. It gets better. I received notification that I hadn't picked up everything in my original order and it was waiting at the warehouse. This was also confirmed by a response to my support ticket, Ernesto emailed and wrote: "Thank you for your patience! We confirmed that you can pick-up LOT #XXXXX on Sat Aug 14, 2021 10m-5pm or Tue Aug 17, 2021 1pm-5pm. We have also waived the $20 Storage Fee for your items so you won't be charged for this." Whew! That's great they won't charge me a storage fee for the item they DIDN'T HAVE. I returned today, August 14th, and was told they still didn't have it. WOW. Can't believe it. To boot, a table I won was busted in half when I got home. Their return policy requires two pictures. Great. But then they require you to take the broken item back to them. RIDICULOUS. Just got a reply from Markell. He apologized and said to submit a support email, which I already did. Why don't you reply to that email before replying to Yelp reviews?

Wrong arm making this sofa impossible to assemble making it useless.
    Even F.

BEWARE of LoveSeat! Beware! Stay away! If I could give NO stars I would. This is a sham site - they don't properly describe any defects that may render the product useless. I had won a sofa with 2 left arms. It couldn't even be assembled, let alone used as seating at my office which was my intention. Customer service is almost nonexistent - you can request a refund but there isn't anyone to speak with. I had spent $100 to have this delivered which is fine by me if the product could be used. Loveseat is offering me a full refund but they expect me to bring it back to the warehouse. Which means another $100. So I'm spending $200 on junk. They don't seem to check their products beforehand to posting, so don't waste your time or your money. It's junk and they are swindlers. They should be Shut down. They refuse to take the necessary actions of good customer service and decent business practices. Stay away from Loveseat. It's a scam of people reselling junk and taking advantage of others by not offering full disclosure. Don't be blinded by their stock photography - they are con artists and this is practically fraud. I'm absolutely certain they want it back so they can con some other unsuspecting bidder to waste their money on useless junk. Update: look at that bullshit answer from a business manager. No accountability.

Hi, I'm submitting a small claims court case for the missing parts of the item I was supposed to get. Can you please provide a name for who I can serve this to? If not, I will provide the name of whoever responds on here. Thanks

Wait time when picking up items.
    Kelley R.

I just joined the pickup line and the wait time is 4 hours. Never experienced a company that treated my time as so worthless. I came to get items from an invoice and some were missing so then they required me to fight the crowd on Saturday - or, they said, my items would be forfeit! Because they did not have them ready when promised the first time. Their systems don't work, their sign in process is buggy, their customer service is slow and only email based. For having millions of dollars in venture funding, this is run like a shady back alley joke. BEWARE!

Bought Dyson V8 Vacuum pictured as new in box ( returned item) for $179. Thought it was a good deal until came home and opened a box... The vacuum was missing ALL replacement parts, charge and docking system. I ordered everything online and paid extra $150. It turned out that Dyson Vacuum is completely broken, it doesn't take charger. Very disappointed by this service. This is a scam!!! Don't buy!!! Read ALL *reviews!!! They said that they don't issue a refund even if it's broken or damaged !!! But you don't know that until you come home and open a box. They charge your card automatically! EVERYONE let's sue this company for wrongful description and scam!!! Everyone let's file a complain!!! This is not right to sell broken/damaged goods to people who work hard, specially now!!!

What they gave me when I was picking up.
    Chantel B.

STFU!! Bought this for my cats, 100% fault why I didn't open the box while I was there that's my stupidity, but what kind of business does this? The box literally had trash inside. I'm shocked. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone, after reading the other comments about this place it's true you get nothing but trash. If they would've open the box and checked they would've seen it was literally an empty box with trash in it. Disappointed, more so in myself. But yeah not worth the risk here. Paid 20 bucks for it, when Walmart sells it for 30. Again my fault for being cheap trying to save 10 bucks. What a joke !!! Disputing the charge on my card this is ethically and morally not right to do to people. You guys should be ashamed of yourself.

laughable - 5 weights in a gym set with new weights costing more than the price we'd pay for a brand new set
    Holly C.

Just don't do it. So not worth it!! I hope I can save someone the money wasted here and feeling scammed like we did. Can't put 0 stars so 1 it is, but it should be negative stars. This company is a scam and unethical. I've never had something like this happen before. Almost every listing is hidden behind the "open box" description. Photos online showed the stock photos and the original box packaging. It states that the origin is "returned" and it's in "open box" condition, which means it was purchased previously somewhere . Due to the false advertisement - the stock photos and a photo of the original box with no further description, we were made to believe that this item was returned because someone no longer wanted it. We did not expect it to be missing most of the weight plates, which essentially render the gym set useless. Upon receipt, my husband realized that 25 out of the 30 weight plates were missing. He contacted their customer service to see if there were any plates left behind. The online original price for this at Costco where we were considering buying from is $1499.00. This set from Loveseat only came with 5 plates, and it did not mention any of this at all. This renders the gym set useless with that amount of weight. Each plate set of 5 is $120. $120 x 5 = $600. We paid a total of $700, plus a 15% buyers premium charge of $105, bringing the total to $887.51 after tax. This is a large and heavy item so we contacted Loveseat's preferred third party delivery partner Goshare to help us retrieve the item and deliver it to our house. We have photos upon the item's arrival. The 5 weights were in a separate Sunkist beverage cardboard container that was NOT listed in the photos for the auction listing. We thought there was a mistake so my husband contacted Loveseat to see if they forgot to include the rest of the weights for the delivery partner pickup person. The extremely frustrating part is that they offered to reconsign the item which means trying to sell it to someone else, until the same false pretenses, and give us 60% of the "proceeds". This is saddening to us that someone else would get scammed and cheated of their money because a gym set is not worth buying unless all the weights are there. Super unethical of this company. We would have not purchased this for $887.51 plus the third party delivery company charge of $241.88, totaling $1129.39 if we knew it was missing weights. The photos did not include the extra Sunkist cardboard box with 5 weights in it. Had the Sunkist box been included with the original set of auction photos, I would not be pushing to dispute this as I would be at least fully informed of what I was bidding on. We would have just bought it directly from Costco at the price of $1499.99 which includes free delivery and the full set of 30 weights included in the large box. Unfortunately our credit card didn't find the dispute valid pretty much because of this "open box" description and us needing to return the item. I have never disputed a charge or filed a chargeback in my life until now, and the company automatically blocks you from the website. This company is lying and unfair, and consumers are not being protected from this company. I don't see why we as consumers have no protection after being misled through false advertisement from a company that refuses to take any responsibility when they knowingly had pieces missing. How can something be classified as partial, damaged, or perfect condition all at the same time? This just absolves any accountability for them and takes advantage of the consumer. We were also told from the company that they would consider refunds under "reasonable circumstances". When I let them know that the gym set was useless without the weights, I was very shocked to be informed that this was NOT a reasonable request for a full refund. This begs the question of what then would be classified as a "reasonable request". I truly hope that this appeal be considered to the fullest extent as the company willfully decided not to include ALL photos of the product during the auction. Allowing this to take place would only encourage poor business practices and result in others asking to dispute. I would be very happy to discuss further in detail. I'm sure whoever responds to this will paste a generic reply, and I'm never buying from them again. Also - stop spamming me with your marketing emails after you've "blocked" me, and get your crap together or just stop existing and scamming people. Thanks.

This is like gambling with your hard worked money! I never gamble. I picked a sofa with pictures so as to not have any surprises. I looked at the sofa for the past 5 days online, trying to determine the condition, the sofa looked great in the photos. Day of pick up, we rent a truck, 60$, we go to pick up the sofa from the listing and they bring out a sofa, it has the same shape, the same color but nothing like the one that we just won. We got home so disappointed! The sofa has pocket springs in the cushions ( yes, never owned something like this), the springs are broken, can not be fixed because the cushions are attached, and anyhow why would somebody invest in such a low quality sofa. The sofa was well used and abused, a lot of pilling, the legs in the back are a mess. Im This is a couch that was left for curbside pick up, not for sale. You can NOT EVEN DONATE this couch. This is a defective sofa, I understand AS IS but this is trash. This should NOT BE SOLD. Trash for Monday, I have to ask for curbside pick up. I WANT MY MONEY AND TIME BACK! So prospective bidders you have this story too, be wise!

    Damaged products, sold as is.
    Samuel J.

I get it's sold as is, but selling returned goods that are not expected can be damaging to a business. The product was missing pieces and all the screws to assemble it. Making this item worthless. Thanks loveseat.com

I ask if he could hold it for me behind the counter instead, he stays with his nasty attitude and shouts at me to leave it in the front, says no one will touch it. I decide to leave instead since it's his rules and no point in arguing them. Instead of simply letting me go he starts to shout at me and berate me as I walk out the door saying NO! LEAVE IT THERE! NO ONE WILL TOUCH IT! etc. If he doesn't want people with scooters, fine, it's his store. But when someone chooses to leave instead of leaving it unattended, (out in the open, 5 inches from an entrance with ZERO security, where anyone walking by can just grab it and run) you do not have a right to shout at, berate and insult them. From what i managed to see of the stuff I was looking at in the front before this, he overprices things, doesn't bother cleaning anything, the display boxes are full of dust with things thrown around. No organizing, no cleaning, nothing. All this plus his disrespectful attitude, shouting and barking instead of just speaking to me like a normal human being makes this an easy recommendation to AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I was waiting patiently to look at some jewelry, a random regular walks in, came over, and the workers helped her first. She came in after me, yet I was told I had to wait until a cashier was available... so I did and was looked over. The buyer asked me what I was looking at as she looked at several pieces, I told her bc it wasn't much, she asked to see it, and bought it. Totally not ok. I also am now seeing some of your workers snapping photos of the garments/tags/doing research on selling platforms and on sale day having people come in and buy the garments for them. I get it, but still kind of not ok. Also the amount of replica luxury brands you're selling for real luxury designer retail prices is not a good look. In fact, I actually just bought what looked to be real pair of DOUBLE RL jeans for $40, had them authenticated, and sure enough they are Chinese fake from Santee alley. I just wasted $40 on a pair of $2 jeans and you have no returns. Legally, you do have to refund buyers if the garments they are purchasing are replicas as it is a federal offense to sell replicas. I'm not asking for a refund, instead what I am asking is for you to really be careful bc $40 is a lot of money for 1 pair of used jeans. It's my fault for not doing research prior. I was in a hurry and thought they would work for a western model I had today. Now I can't use them and had to spend more money on another pair of jeans. Please, I love your store and I will continue to come in, but take care of your community and really have your pricers do their research on items that you have marked incredibly high for what they are going for on eBay/poshmark. Used frame jeans should not be $79 in your store. Used express dresses that are from 3 years ago with stains and piling should not be $40. Your pricers will make or break your success. Their pricing strategy is going to have your items take up valuable space that other garments that may sell for a reasonable asking price could be occupying. I'm giving you advice bc I too am in the fashion industry. I'm a solo $1.8m annual income owner. I know what works and what doesn't. I've been in the fashion resale/movie rental space since 1999 and have been very successful doing it. I love your concept and your location for the community. Just take this as an outsider looking in on what can help you and your company be better than the rest.

(Writing this while in the store) This place has gotten…read moregreedy, it used to actually be a good thrift but i came back after a few months to everything being priced way more than it should, like what hoodie is $20 in a thrift? There is some good stuff occasionally which is why i added the extra star but besides that, this thrift sucks now. The people are okay, no problems with them but no kindness from them either so its whatever, but even then they get first picks when the donations come in. How are you gonna overprice your stuff and pick out the affordable good stuff? If yall want a good nice thrift just go to the one on Artesia called "Quality Thrift" because nobody deserves a trash thrift like this.
