Love that this Pilot has a special pump for Moterhome or RVs just pull thru. We stopped here twice first time the restrooms where decent we picked up Taco Bell the gentleman was nice (little heavy man) I like how they make your food right in front of you. However, the second time passing thru we grabbed some Taco Bell but this time the lady at the reg. was changing the reg tape seemed to be in a hurry a young man helped prepare the food she had taken the potatoes behind the food line which i believe to heat them in the microwave they where so hot I couldn't hold the bowl let alone eat them, waste of money. We all know what happens to microwave cheese-(gross). The restrooms where awful they stunk like pee. The floors were very dirty you can defiantly tell they hadn't been mopped in a while. Stopped here to get gas and wait out the fog. The gas is very reasonable priced for California (at home, it's about twenty cents cheaper, so this is really good), all the pumps work, and the exterior was very clean with no debris. Inside, the bathrooms and interior are also clean, and everything is easily accessible. I had trouble finding the kombucha, but James was so helpful and fun to speak to. Kimberly and Melissa at the register were also a hoot, and everyone here made me smile. Nice selection as well as convenient restaurant options (Subway and McDonald's side by side). I like stopping in at Love's Travel Stops to check them out! I joined their rewards program earlier this year, but it is something I should have done long ago! They offer discounts and freebies in their App. We came here over Thanksgiving Day through that weekend. They were giving away one bottle of Accelerate Hydration per day. We happened to be in the area three days on our trip and was able to try their three flavors. That deal is over. For Dec., it is a BOGO Free. Another benefit to joining their rewards program is receiving 10¢ discount on gas. They also offer a discount of 25¢ on Auto Diesel. The store is chock full of merchandise including souvenirs! The restroom was clean. In this Travel Stop is a Subway & McDonald's. The store clerks were pleasant about helping me redeem the first free item through the app. After that, I was able to open the app and have the barcode ready. I will come back the next time I am passing through Tulare! And hopefully there will be a good "deal" in the App, too! read more

I love (pun intended) to stop here for gas, snacks or potty breaks. I especially love the fact that they have a place for our pets to use the potty too! As far as the food, nothing special but at least they have tons to choose from. Their bathrooms are always clean, their staff is always nice and the gas price is very competitive compared to other options along the road. We try to plan our trips around their locations so that we know that both us and the pups can stop to pee. I saw some negative comments about their dog park not being clean enough but honestly, that has more to do with crappy pet owners than the facility itself. I rather they first focus on keeping the hooman bathrooms clean and then when they have time clean out their do area. After all, pet owners should not be lazy and should pick up after themselves. read more

Normally I love Love's. I have visited dozens in my travels and they are typically a great place to stop. I was disappointed in this location however. They had a "Dog Park" which was nice so I could let my pup out but it was quite small and dirty. They also have signs posted everywhere that they will tow your vehicle if you are there more than an hour, which seems reasonable if you need to grab some items, eat, let your dog out, and maybe actually take a rest. The customer service and cleanliness was also lacking. I still recommend this company, but if you are on the road, maybe pass this one by and stop that the next one. read more

5 star review! for the truck care center although I am a standard auto driver. I was parked in their parking lot about a week ago. Long story short, vehicle battery died and I needed a jump start. I was thinking to make a purchase via target or Walmart and have someone deliver a portable battery starter to avoid having to ask another driver to assist in jump start the old fashioned way. The order was taking too long so and the female that accepted the request to shop for item / deliver it, said that she had to shop for a much larger quantity order at the same time as my single item request. I told her it is reasonable to assume that means this larger quantity order will also be prioritized in terms of completion (delivery). As a result she dropped my very simple order and it was further pushed back on delivery eta. I then went inside the store to purchase old fashioned jumper cables with the intent of sprinkling some of my game (you know... some of that stuff you just can't teach) on a driver pumping fuel to come assist in the process. I noticed that they had cables in the back area where the commercial drivers enter, I picked up a small box approximately $29.99. The cashier told me they had other set in the front area that was reasonably less than that option, approximately $22.99. As I was speaking to him, I mentioned that I was going to have to run some of this G-A-M-E on a person in the parking lot to see if they will help jump start my vehicle. He then said, oh you need a jump start?! Let me call someone. He made a call to another employee and canceled the transaction. He told me to just wait for the "LOVES" truck to come to the front of the store. A few second later I see the truck and thanked the gentleman at the cashier as I walked out the store. I then waved at the driver (Adrian) in the truck and he followed me to my vehicle. Within a few minutes, my vehicle was good to go! Thank you again LOVES. Traveling between Bakersfield and Visalia and then home to Twncho Cucamonga for 9 months, I planned when I would fill up around this place. Time and again they had the cheapest gas prices around, definitely cheaper than in bakersfield or visalia or tulare. For example gas prices were $5.59 when other places were charging +$6.29 per gallon. This place is rather large and well thought out. The big rigs are all in the back, with their own entrance. Allowing the passenger cars and vehicles to fill up and use the facility with no issues. They have multiple fill up stations, never in my 9 months of filling up did I have to wait for a gas pump to open up. They even have the long and short squeegies you can use. Cuz one thing that's more annoying than cleaning your windows with a squeeze is leaving those squeegee marks in the middle of the front windshield. Always in good repair too. The amenities are nice. They have a connected micdonalds and subway attached to them. But they also have the hot foods, like taquitoes, chip and dip, coffees, etc. They have lots of rows for snacws and junk food. As well as the entire back wall eith drinks (alcohol, liquor, energy drinks, soda and water). They even sell random items, hats, close, sunglasses and suvinour items. Those who work here are really nice. Smiling, saying greetings just being overall friendly. Oh and they are 24 hours just in case your driving thru there in the middle of the night, like I did once. Glad they were open at 2am!! Bathroom facilities are adequate. Sometimes it's slightly dirty and smelly, but for the most part it's clean and easy to use. Always stocked. They even have a showering area, and will call you when you bay is open. In the 9 months I probably came here over 30 times. And each occasion went off without a hitch. After 30 minutes of waiting patiently, I went back in and told them I was still waiting. They said they didn't have time to refill me. After 30 friegan minutes! Made a pit stop here coming from the SCV up to northern California, and I'm glad that I did. This travel stop is solid! Great coffee and beverage station and really nice restrooms. Lots of snacks for purchase and a little electronics section, they seem to have everything you could ever need while on the road. I love to stop at Love's because I know their gas prices are usually reasonable, the convenience stores are well stocked with a variety of items, the prices aren't jacked up too high, and there are usually at least one or two fast food options so I can take care of all my needs in one stop. The Ladies restroom was very clean and had both hooks on the back of the stall doors for coats and fold down shelves on which to place your purse so it doesn't sit on a dirty floor. unfortunately, first stall I entered did not have any toilet paper in spite of the fact the dispensers held two huge rolls. Two out of three soap dispensers were completely empty, too, but at least they had paper towels and a Koala Kare changing station. The Convenience store includes all the basic food and beverage options you expect plus a few extras like the option of adding flavor shots to your sodas for free at the fountain. They also carry a number of items designed to cater to truckers such as t-shirts, leather jackets, audiobooks by best selling authors, DVDs, Music CDs, small electronic items, showers, and so much more. There are two fast food options: Subway and McDonalds. Both have flat screen televisions; Subway's was turned off and the one in.McDonalds was showing a very IMHO inappropriate movie (NSFW). I can't believe I would be giving a gas station such a high rating, but I usually stop here when I am visiting family in San Francisco. The restrooms are actually quite clean (ladies') and adequately stocked with the essentials. And it is nice that there are quite a few stalls here so wait time for a toilet is less than other places. Anyways, Love's reminds me of 7-11 and ARCO's AMPM stores because they sell coffee, baked goods and all the usual suspects. They also have other prepacked snack goods and also random souvenirs of the kind sold here as well (who wouldn't need a leopard print cow boy hat? Or that nice throw rug that says "California" on top of it in black letters). What is really great about this place is that there is also a 24 hour Subway & McDonald's (yay free wifi) here as well in case you wanted to pick up lunch and/ or dinner before you head out (or a cup of coffee to keep you wake for the rest of your drive). Parking is kind of odd here, as there parking near the McDonald's and then around the perimeter of the parking lot. There is also plenty of gas pumps here, but I never buy gas here (I only prefer to use the name brand stuff that I am familiar with to put in my vehicle, especially since it hauls some precious cargo... meaning myself and my family and my cute little dogs). Overall, a perfect place to stop to use the restroom and perhaps grab a bite to eat and stretch the ol' legs. I find myself coming to this Love's again and again. The gas prices are ~usually~ the lowest (Regular) fuel prices along CA-99 south of Fresno. Exit 85 just south of Tulare. I'm usually greeted by the friendly cashiers upon entering and can't help but feel comfortable here! This is a popular stop for Truckers, and they have their own fueling station on the other side. Inside, you can buy anything from Food and Drink, to Car Accessories, to DVD's and stuffed animals! The variety can be somewhat overwhelming and cause you to stay browsing longer than you would have wanted. All products have usually been well stocked when I have frequented this Love's. The bathrooms, for those interested, seem to be well taken care of. Apart from some minor permanent damage some kids will do (Scratching graffiti here and there) it is very well kept, and SUPER clean! I can't help but wonder if guys aren't going in here and getting all prettied up with the way it smells. Overall, a nice place for fuel and services. If you're very hungry, connected to Love's is a Subway and Mc Donald's...so this is usually a nice place to stop 'n go if you're on the road. :) read more

Dirty, filthy bathrooms. Customer service is hit and miss. Some crazy people I've encountered just having a smoke outside the door. Not sure if I'll come back to a gas station that had a dirty countertop around hot food, whilst THREE employees were standing around BSing about their day. All it takes is one of you to pick up a rag and a bleach bottle. Good thing I'm not their boss, because all three would be looking for new jobs. Bathrooms? I wish I was a dog sometimes, because any tree looks more appealing for a leak. Papers on floor, wires sticking out of toilets, disgusting smells..it's like rotten urine, the diarrhea of 10 men, mixed with the smell of the sales floor. Only good thing that I will say is that there is a huge lot, open 24 hours, and the selection would be comprable to a Walgreens or Rite Aid. Before I came into the store, I thought... man, this is going to be in a little redneck town and Love's sounds like a kind of store that would be there... They were selling leopard print cowboy hats with a big cross on the center front, pink cowboy hats with a big cross on the center front, leather vests (in black and brown), baseball caps for truckers, etc... I thought... this is epic. There is even a aisle JUST FOR Beef Jerky... Win. I don't eat beef jerky or beef at all... but it's just a WIN in my book. This was a good convenience store because it did have many things for you - food, drinks, car stuff, phone stuff (if you forgot your charger), condoms (on sale when I went this past weekend... yeah...), lotto, etc. I got some lotto tickets... the guy didn't know how to use the machine and so it took longer, but the lady (manager) came and showed him how to use it. He was really nice. I gave him a twenty and forgot my change (I got $5 worth of lotto) and he yelled over at me "YOUR CHANGE!" and I went back and got it. They are so nice.
