The Circle K/ExxonMobil/ Gas Express is a horrible option for the simple fact that they choose to keep all the money to themselves rather than invest back into the store. They don't want to have employees to clean bathrooms or the store for that fact. If they get management that cares they make them cut everything and run it on no crew like a Dollar General. So you get a dirty store with no crew. They allow you to hire, hire, hire and then no one gets hours which then you have to let them all go. To me is completely unethical and immoral. As long as the bottom line is good who cares. They wont fix the entire parking lot they only want to patch it. So in 3 to 6 months it will be screwed again. The only thing keeping it alive is Shirley in the deli but they wont raise her pay. So I would avoid at all cost. ​

The inside was really busy as this gas station is located right near the interstate. The restrooms could have been cleaner but served their purpose. Inside of the gas station had your typical items found in gas stations. The staff wasn't extremely friendly but were okay. The male worker was hard working. Another female staff member was present but not helpful to customers. I ended up paying for my gas at the pump after all, which had spider webs on it. I was waiting for Charlottes web to show up at any moment. Of course, I requested a receipt.... Guess what? It didn't give me one. Sigh

If I'm driving by (especially depending on the time of day - lunch/after work) I'd probably pass. Can be a little time consuming getting out of here. The convenience store is sized similar to most and has the same selection of ships, candy, drinks, jerky and a few house hold odds and ends. Prices are on par with any other location. Surprisingly they have a rather large selection of wine by the bottle if you're interested. The staff has been friendly every time we've been here. Greeting us when we walk in, asking if they can help us find anything and friendly when we check out. Even if we have just walked in to use the restroom they have been friendly. Overall a good location and we will continue to use when we are in the area.

One thing that surprised me was their beef jerky selection. I guess people from Alabama like their beef jerky here, because every stop I made in Alabama seemed to have a huge stock. I saw flavors of Slim Jims that I had never seen before. The only issue I had was that there seemed to be a lack of window washing fluid here. I needed to wash my windshield to get the gunk off, and was unable to do so at this location. Oh well, at least I got to do it at the next stop.

There's a Subway attached if you're wanting to grab lunch on the road. The bathrooms are clean. I didn't realize when I pulled up, but the primary business of this store is selling lottery tickets. Of the 8 other people in the line, I was the only one who didn't buy lottery tickets. Based on the number of Alabama tags in the parking lot, I guess people drive over the state line just to come here. Folks were getting $100s of dollars worth of tickets and then scratching them at tables set up just for that. Seriously, the ticket scratch off tables take up more room than the snack shelves. Because people are superstitious about getting the exact right numbers and tickets, the check out lines move very slowly. The cashiers are friendly. If you're in a hurry, maybe go somewhere else. If you need lottery tickets, this is your place.

With any legitimate place the difference would be returned to your card in a matter of minutes at the least a day or so not 11 days this place has no intention of returning the difference back to my card. This happened 12/31/23 11:58pm. no money has been returned; receipts and transactions history is my proof. Avoid this place for credit/debit petrol purchases.
