I cruised in from Main St to the West Parking Ramp entrance and parked on Level 2. It was conveniently useful since it was nearby for dinner at D'Marcos Italian Restaurant on a busy Good Friday night. Downtown Rochester Michigan offers more than 350 shops, restaurants, salons and profession businesses. The city also has abundant green space that offer two parks for nature walking. The City of Rochester offers two private parking decks providing 532 parking spaces, 700 metered parking spaces, street parking within downtown. Residents, travelers orvfrequent visitors can park anywhere legal to enjoy a leisure day, afternoon or dining evening in the heart of Rochester Free or Cheap Rates and even overnight! :-) Parking Information: East Parking Platform - 415 East St. West Parking 406-414 Walnut Blvd. (24 Hours) 431 S. The levels here at the Parking Platform have easy to read signs for entering and exiting the structure along with stairs or elevators to travel to your vehicle and especially to the rocking fun local streets. You go up to the gate, say what airline you're flying on, and then the gate attendant sends you to a parking section. Sometimes it's very far away in the lot and other times it's right up front. Likewise with following the bus in. If you follow the bus in, it will wait for you to park and unload, if you don't you may have to stand there for a bit until one comes through. Bumpy ride to the airport so buckle up!

The app you pay your parking with some people find confusing and frustrating. When you place a carry out for food on line they require pre payment. If there are no spots available you end up walking a long distance just to pick up your carry out food. By the time you get it home it's cold. Does Royal Oak City planners realize that's the reason restaurants either go out of business or move to a different location. This issue is not only for South Lafayette parking structure but also for every parking structure & parking lot location in Royal Oak.

It does help with the apps now, but I prefer to put my car in a structure I feel like this is a good out-of-the-way spot if you're going to any restaurants, shops or whatever between fourth Street and seventh Street. It's also not far from the theater and from the salons on sixth Street. It is also a manageable size of a structure, since it's not as big as the one on Washington or on main street. There aren't as many floors and it's not as wide of a structure either. I feel like you can get in and out pretty quickly.

You are left SOL if you need any change back at all The credit card machine doesn't work, there's a stuck coin in the insert for the change and they don't give you the correct change back. They wouldn't give me back my $.50 owed. I have to go to the city with my receipt and get the money back. Should be free if you can't give back the correct change then, no? Ridiculous!!
