Literally the worst loves in the country. All the hot food was cold, every single option at the topping bar was out and when you tell the staff that everything is out you get " yeah we're short staffed " as 3 employees are literally standing at the register with no one in the store having a conversation that was clearly not work related or friendly.... This is the cleanest, most well stocked Loves with such friendly staff that I have ever experienced. I am sad I did not get the names of the young man and woman that helped us. We were there 1:05am on Thursday morning so should be easy to find out if the company happens to read this. Definitely stop here a breath of fresh air after driving 10 hrs. Terrible place for oversized loads! I'm hauling a 16' wide load and am prohibited from weekend travel in Missouri. I am here all weekend. I asked the Sunday swing shift manager for authorization to drop my trailer and go into town 3 miles away to buy groceries and get food. She flat out denied. I explained that I needed groceries because I cook my food in my truck and am nearly out in my truck. She lied and said there is a Love's corporate policy against dropping trailers which there is not. There is only a policy against unauthorized trailer dropping...I asked for authorization! This location just opened a few weeks ago so of course right now it is close to perfect (it has "new building smell which is GREAT!). The bathrooms are clean. The Hardees is nice. Employees are very helpful and pleasant. The parking lot is great but I think they could add some truck spaces...and maybe they will as it gets busier. I really hope they maintain this level and this can become a stop we look forward to. read more
