Enjoyed the curry and coconut with vegetables. No fresh spring rolls like the Thai House in Columbus but fried was good. read more

Love Thai - The layout. - Thai Near Me - Boerne, Texas

So I ordered 2 "lunch specials" after taking a look at the paper menu they provided me with. I had never been to this restaurant prior to today. My order was "to go". When they hand me the bag of food, I didn't think to look inside before leaving the restaurant. After I got to my friend's house, I noticed I was missing our 2 soups. The menu said that we had a choice of white rice or fried rice, and it comes with sweet and sour soup. They didn't ask me which we preferred, and I didn't think to ask for the fried rice. They put "one" white rice in the bag, but we ordered "2" lunch specials. Why only one white rice? So, I called to let them know they forgot our soups. The man on the phone insisted it didn't come with soup. When I explained it clearly says the lunch special comes with sweet and sour soup and a choice of white rice or fried rice on the paper menu he had handed me when I came into his restaurant 20 minutes earlier. He said that must be a type-o, and that's a mistake. He kept arguing with me about the lunch special not coming with soup. I then had to explain that if it's on the menu (that he handed me today!) that he has to honor it. He then told me it was an old menu. But he gave me the menu today, I didn't have an old menu at home! What happened to it being a type-o? I said I would be back to the restaurant to pick up our soups. When I got there, one soup in a bag was waiting for me on the counter. I had to explain to the 2 women working there, that I paid for "2 lunch specials " and that is only "1 soup". They talked to each other in their language, and then told me I would have to wait for it. I said ok. Now, let's review the food. My Pad Thai was dry noodles with 4 shrimp lying on top. No vegetables whatsoever except a few bean sprouts on the side and a few scallions stored in. But that's it. No flavor and barely any sauce. My friend ordered the Pad Woon Sen with beef. He said his was pretty bad too, but his looked way better than mine. I didn't taste his, but mine was horrible. And lastly, the soup was the worst hot and sour I've ever had. Overall, I would NOT recommend anyone wasting their money there. When I walked in, a man was walking out with his take out, and when I went back there was a woman that had ordered food. So I guess people go there, but I couldn't tell you why. Simply terrible food and a waste of $30 for lunch!!!! read more

The service here is awesome. The food is on point and the ambiance is added plus. They offer a wide variety of things on their lunch menu. The food is made fresh. We will definitely make the drive up here again. Their spring rolls are a must try with any meal you order. read more

Wonderful, delicious Thai cuisine at its best. The staff here really knows how to make the culinary experience delightful. I know the chef personally and she really is the best in the business. Great service too. Highly recommend to anybody who loves Thai food! read more

Food 4/5 - I ordered their version of Thai Basil chicken. The dish was good but a little sweeter than I had anticipated. It also came with chopped zucchini, which I was not the norm but was tasty. Service 5/5 - Very nice staff! Value 3/5 - Portion sizes were average however prices were not. My bill was over $28 for an order of Thai Basil chicken and a Crab Rangoon appetizer. read more

Tried this place for the first time today :) had the lunch special pad woon sen and ordered some spring rolls for an appetizer. The service was excellent. I usually like my Thai food with some medium level spice to it but we were never asked how hot we wanted our food. There was no spice at all but they did have some Siracha sauce when we asked for it. The spring rolls were soooo yummy and the pad woon sen was great once I added the siracha. It was a nice little place the seating was great as well. I do wish they were on Door Dash or Uber Eats read more

Food made with love, got a great selection of Thai food that will satisfy you. Their Thai Tea is spot on, and my personal favorite curry has to be Red. So good. The workers are real nice and friendly. read more

What a quaint place for lunch. I went with a friend and this was her suggestion. We want quiet places so we can catch up. The decor is perfect. The couple who run (own?) it are delightful. The service is great & they want to please you. I had the Pad Thai with vegetables and my friend & I split the mango sticky rice. Love Thai serves their drinks in styrofoam cups, I think to take it "to go?". Their lunch and dinner menu has lots of choices. It was a nice change of pace for me as I always tend to dine in San Antonio. I will be back. read more

Great food, friendly staff and a very nice restaurant atmosphere. Will definitely come back.

Not very Thai here. Food was more Asian fusion since their had other Asian dishes. Their iced tea tasted wrong. So wrong that I only had a sip and spit it back into the glass. It tasted like they didn't clean the spout of the tea dispenser combined with their use of extra tappy tap water. Yes, I could not drink iced water either. It was so tappy that i strongly believe they use the same tappy water and musty spigot to make their ice cubes. At this point, I should've gone but I had to try their dishes. Their chicken with eggplant tasted good. But the chicken was significantly disproportionate to the eggplant. Specifically, there were bits of chicken and two whole chopped eggplants in the dish. At least there was enough for two whole bites of chicken. The second dish was sesame chicken. I thought it was going to be a Thai version but I was wrong. The sesame chicken was very Chinese. Yes, I should have gone immediately after swampy iced tea. Yes, I should've told them to change my order to takeout. 1 star for my first and last experience here. It is my opinion that there is no decent Thai restaurant in Boerne, TX. read more

Food on point Ready when promised Ambiance is very chill Curry Chicken on spice level 2 And plain Pad Thai for 80 yo Mom Good everyday and owners are super folks! read more

I've gone here previously and didn't enjoy the food. There were some guys running it who were kinda cavalier about food and the food was so so. Just went the other day- this review is just for the Mango and sticky rice- there seems to be new management so I'd like to go by and try the food. Back to the sticky rice- it was pricey- it was 15 and some change for 2 mango and sticky rice before tip. It was really really good. Yum. Also, they put enough coconut milk in so that you got that nice dip with every bite. She also gave us extra mango which was very nice. Will have to review for food next time around! read more

The mango sticky rice is to die for!!! And the yellow curry, sooooo good. This place is a Boerne staple. I live out of state now but always make sure I get food from Love Thai multiple times during my visits. The owner/staff are such kind people too. Couldn't recommend enough!! There's lots of tables inside so it makes for a great dine in or take out option as well. read more

Have been regulars since it was Sarikas. We order from here very regularly, mostly takeout. Wish the seafood red curry had more seafood but that's our favorite. Pad Thai is always delicious as well. Service can be a bit slow inside. Still a Boerne staple. read more

Love Thai - Lunch Red Curry Lunch Special Pad Thai Lunch Special - Thai Near Me - Boerne, Texas

This place has changed during the pandemic, Before 2021 we really enjoyed eating pad Thai lunch special Our last time it was very different! Watery food and server didn't put ice in my iced tea and zero refill , 2 small packs of soy sauce, no peanut sauce Going to be hard to return if it's this bad again read more

Love Thai The chicken pad Thai lunch was $11.95 and the menu states that it comes with steamed or fried rice. The server told me it didn't apparently. The food came out pretty quick and i realized why later on and presentation was eh. I've never had a pad Thai that was noodles topped with a watery sauce that pooled on the plate. Normally it's cooked with the noodles not just drizzled on top. It looked like noodles that were boiled, put on Plate and then they poured a sauce on top and sprinkled chicken on it. The flavor was okay, not the best but not disgusting, I'd eat it again if I got more for what I paid. The portion was pathetic especially for it not coming with any kind of rice. It was 5 fork twirls at best and 6 pieces of chicken cut into strips. Most Thai places have a lunch special that's the pad Thai, rice, Tom yum soup and an egg roll for $12.95. I have never left a Thai resistant hungry before. Needless to say I'm not going back. At least N's thai gives you a giant portion of food that you borderline have to get a Togo box as soon as it comes out for a $12 lunch. read more

Pretty good! I has been hard to find good Thai in the Boerne area and I would say this checks the box :) the gentlemen running it is very kind as well. Thai will be our spot when we need our Thai fix read more

One of the best Thai restaurants in the San Antonio metroplex area. (Sadly, our favorite place was put out of business by a fire and the reaction to the pandemic). Come here and order the Yellow Curry, it is amazing!!! I highly recommend. read more

The name has changed but the licenses are under the name of the former Thai restaurant. Service and food is poor. My soup had a large object in it that fortunately, I didn't bite or try to swallow. I pointed it out to the manager who offered me another cup of soup. Why would anyone want more of the same soup? The manager said he asked the three people in the kitchen about it and surprise, No one did. Needless to say, my friends, colleagues and I will not be returning. read more

I ordered egg rolls and cashew chicken and 25 minutes later my stomach began to cramp and I was sick for 2 hours. I primarily ate 1 egg roll and a small portion of the cashew chicken. I felt COMPLETELY fine before my meal. My stomach cramped for HOURS later. I would not recommend this place until they get their act together. Seriously. read more

First timers and won't go back. Pad Thai was awful with dried out beef. Chicken curry had so much coconut milk it was to sweet to eat, the veggies were barely cooked and 3 stringy pieces of chicken in it. The sweet and sour soup was more sweet then spicy. We tried to add flavor to the food with the sauces provided, watered down and tasteless as well! What a disappointment. read more

Some of the best food in Boerne!!!!! And the food gets to you so fast: you have to try the spring rolls

Food was just OK. Sweet and sour chicken had an odd taste, perhaps older grease and the vegetables that accompanied it were very al denté (raw). Chicken lettuce wraps were not good at all with whole nuts piled on the side. Fried rice lacking color and flavor. Panag and spring rolls were good. read more

We had an early dinner last night at Love Thai. The place is really nice and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the dumplings and summer rolls and they were terrific! We then had drunken noodles and sesame chicken. Fabulous!!! I lived in Houston for 40 years and this is on par with some of the best Thai places I have enjoyed. This is a gem and when we are back in Boerne we will DEFINITELY make a return visit!! read more

This place was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend getting the spring rolls and the sesame chicken. It was a perfect crunch on the outside of the chicken with it being tender on the inside. It was served with the perfect sauce. I can eat here everyday! read more

We're from California where we have a lot of really good Thai food, and this was pretty good Thai. We had six of us, several who had never had any Thai food before, so we did a bunch of the entrees and shared between us, and we all left raving about how much we liked all of it. Definitely recommend checking out! read more

Consistently good service, great food, and affordable! My kids love the chicken satay!

Love this place!! Clean. Fast. Super friendly. Love the Thai Fried Rice and all the salads.

Sad! Sarika's used to be THE place for Thai in San Antonio and when they came to Boerne it was a revelation, but I don't think Boerne was ready for it at the time. As Sarika's grew to multiple locations in San Antonio and Sarika became more absent from her kitchens, the once great food suffered. So much so that this location was re-branded as "Love Thai", probably in an effort to ditch its bad ratings and reputation. It hasn't been good in years. The name may have been changed but it definitely doesn't protect you, the innocent. This is still the lousy Sarika's of late, hiding in plain sight. Our recent take out of Pad Woon Sen, Pad Thai, and spring rolls was nothing short of gawdawful! Lots of boiled but barely stir-fried noodles with almost NO meat, veggies, egg, et cetera, that used to be featured in these dishes. Pretty bland and unappetizing. And crazy expensive for the quality. $40 for two entrees and spring rolls. Which would be acceptable IF it was good. It wasn't. We have a new Thai restaurant on the north end of Boerne which is both stellar and reasonable. In fairness, I won't name it in this review, but search Yelp for "Thai" to find it. I believe that restaurant could be the final nails in Love Thai's coffin...but then again, they don't need any help in that area. Love Thai's food alone should do them in...if it doesn't do that to you first! Avoid! read more
