I am a sucker for great customer service, and Lulu's got it right. I have been pining over a red…read moreplaid strapless dress I had passed up last time I was in this shop. Since F was in Phoenixville on business, I figured I could dash in and check to see if it was still there. When we got to the door there was a sign up saying the store was closed for inventory....oh no I was so disappointed BUT the lovely lady inside saw me peeking in and opened the door. I told her my story and she was so kind and gracious to let me in as long as "I didn't mind the mess". Alas, the dress was nowhere to be found (my fault for not snatching it up when I had the chance). The co-owner even called her partner while I was there to see if she knew the location of the dress. I love when someone goes above and beyond what is expected in order to help a customer. Kudos to you Lulu...I will be back.

I heard that…read morethey could do some custom made pieces so I went down to the store where I met with the owners who were friendly, patient and helpful. They ended up making me a cathedral length veil!!!!, a comb for the reception ( a couple renditions after the first was too big), and they made earrings for my entire bridal party. The pieces were all so beautiful and it was great to have something unique. I'm not sure why everyone on yelp is hating on LuLu. I've had nothing but great experiences with the owners and their products. Check this place out for some funky holiday gifts!

The sales staff here have been pleasant, but I mostly consign clothes here. If that's what you are…read moredoing then note you won't get a billion dollars for your stuff. I find they mostly have a price SET for certain items and it doesn't necessarily matter if they come from high end stores or run of the mill ones. Also you get a percentage based on that set price.............30% 40%. And when you get your check when the contract is finished it really is a small pittance, but if you do it regularly it adds up. I'm quite surprised at some of the clothing brands they do take cause some come from TJ Maxx which is in the same shopping center, some come from ummmmm Kohl's or Boscov's.............but hey if it's your style than go for it. And they do have some nice shoes and purses. I suppose the people who have high end name brand make out the best cause the percentage is higher. I would definitely visit the store if you thrift just know it's pricey- but you do get clean clothes.

This place is a joke. I've been browsing their inventory for the past year and a half; so, when I…read morewas told they only deal in "name brand high end designers," I thought I was in the twilight zone. The rude person inspecting my clothing never introduced herself and told me to go back to my closet and find more high end items then come back. (Not likely.) I find it ironic that this enterprise, part of Nordstrom, which is where most of my clothing is from, was not interested in pristine Nic and Zoe, Madewell, Zella, etc. Linen items she didn't recognize (bought in New Orleans and Miami, were also passed on. Better consignment shops to deal with.

This chain of thrift stores to benefit Habitat for Humanity is a worthy cause, and fills a niche in…read morethe thrifting market, bridging the gap between household goods and furniture (which are typical of most any thrift store), and the housing structure itself. Every ReStore will be a little different as its inventory is dependent upon its community donations, but the general store model is to have dedicated ongoing Home Depot clearance section for a good portion of the store. The Phoenixville store, like others, will be hit or miss on what you need. Yesterday I needed prehung exterior doors. Called ahead and they claimed to have some, but they had zero. I took a pretty thorough look around and posted a lot of photos. I bought some small items for an art project but otherwise it was wasted gas based on them claiming they had what they didn't have. Good cause, and if you are remodeling one room, or trying to fix or replace something in your home, you will probably have good luck here (or at another nearby location), but if you own a rental property, have new construction, are doing a major reno, etc. and need bulk stuff, you will be out of luck. Flooring and tile are in "leftovers" batches of one or two rooms worth, if that. If you check these stores' social media, you will see new arrivals if a supplier donated a larger quantity, but if you have a time limit on your job, you can't rely on them to have something in stock as you need it. I couldn't even get a door, which they claimed to have, so take phone calls with a grain of salt. Prices are okay, not amazing. The 5-gallon paint at this store is $75, while same stuff at the West Norriton store is $90, so watch out among stores.
