Great spot for sunset. Not too big though. Has enough parking slots too. This is a cute spot for friends and couples. read more

Love Circle - Really great spot for a sunset. - Hiking Near Me - Nashville, Tennessee

For sure it's a great view of the Nashville skyline. Also holds up to its name lovers circle lol. There were people laying all over on blankets making out everywhere. Found humor that all the trash bins were overflowing with garbage and people were laying in it just to cop a feel and steal a kiss. Parking was rough, since this place is no secret to locals but worth stopping for the night time view of the skyline . Just watch where you step, you may step in the trash or a horny teenager. We walked from Parthenon to Love Circle (about 30 minutes walk but manageable). It's on a hill so work those calves. There are limited sidewalks leading up to here so exercise caution with passing cars. If you're driving, be mindful of pedestrians. The park was empty of people, benches, paths, and signs (except a small one at the bottom) and was just a muddy hill suffering from alopecia that has a view if you're taller than 5 feet. Lots of electrical equipment fenced in so it felt like the area was prohibited. There's a gorgeous but creepy modern house right next to it with surveillance cameras all over that kinda looks like where Hannibal Lecter would live. read more

There is parallel parking but be careful not to park too close to the edge or risk your car rolling down. You can charge up the hill (lawn) or go around to the stairs (much easier). There's not much of a view because the trees are overgrown and obstruct the view of the city. read more

Such a beautiful tucked away place to come and just BE! Beautiful view, breeze, and quiet space. If you drive around the circle, there's a stair case to the top. Take a tip from me by taking the step, versus hiking up through the grass! read more

Absolutely gorgeous view! And the road up there is pretty funny You go round and round and round But, I can absolutely recommend this place! read more

Okay, I have been here four years and this was my first trip up the mountain to LOVE CIRCLE..My friend Traci Rogers from work told me about it. So, Tony and I grabbed some coffee and donuts from Krispie Kreme and head up. We were alone up there !!! Can you believe it...well it was 7am...lol!!! Tony helped me up over the wall and we climbed the embankment to the top..and sit down on the bench to enjoy the view..and I purposely didn't look back over my shoulder while climbing..because I wanted to experience the ((( AWE ))) when I got to the top and turned around for the first time.. AWE was exactly right...this view is GRANDIOSO... We sit there and just gazed out..watching birds and the squirrels and looking at how PEACEFUL Nashville seems in the early morning hours. I will definitely go here a few more times. It was really nice. The views amazing and it wasn't that crowded. I loved it.. read more

Beautiful view! Have visited at night and done an engagement shoot during the day. I can't believe I have lived in Nashville so long and had never been until About a year ago read more

There is truly no view in the city of Nashville that can beat what Love Circle has to offer. This hilltop park is tucked away amongst the dense neighborhoods of the West End area making it truly a locals-favorite hidden gem. The incredible skyline views accompanied by a flat terrain make this park ideal for any outside activity ranging from picnics to walking your dog. read more

Beautiful spot! I'm new in town and caught wind of this local treasure when getting a pedicure. Rumor has it, Love Circle is where the local kids go to makeout at night ;) Its a great spot for a nice walk, a picnic, or just to watch the sunset over the city. From one side of the hill, the view is more rural with a beautiful stretch of orange and red leaved trees while the other side of the hill looks out over the lights of downtown. Would be nice if the top of the hill didn't have small fences enclosing electrical units... Top of the hill has a beautiful view. You can't miss the spot due to the monstrosity of a home that the star of Big and Rich built, unfortunately. Too bad that some people feel they can steal a local treasure because they have enough money. I always knew I hated country music. read more

Went after dinner for a quick stop. FYI there's NO real hiking required. It's a 30 second walk up a hill, and bam you're there! It's easy to get to, and there's parking right below the hill. Just watch out for some of the signs that say not to park in certain spots from 9p-6a. The view is beautiful, but I've seen better on the pedestrian bridge. Still, it's sick here. There's an odd feeling to be looking at such a bright city from such a quiet and secluded spot. It's so private and romantic. Go for 15 minutes with your boo, or take a blanket and make a date out of it. read more

An excellent place to see a Sunrise or Sunset with your sweetie, or maybe do some Geocaching. The view is nice too, but other than that there isn't anything going on here except some transmission towers. It has several cameras at the street level, so its not really a good getaway make-out spot unless you WANT to get caught. read more

Great spot to bring a blanket and get a panoramic view of the Nashville skyline. We went on a cool June evening. What an incredible view. We just needed a blanket and bug spray and we would have stayed a little longer to soak it all in. read more

One of the best kept secrets in Nashville, kind of sad to see it has its only yelp page but also glad to see so many others enjoying the space. It's one of the best places to watch the sunset with a loved one or first date! read more

Love Circle is just as romantic as it sounds. Come just before sunset and stay until dark with a picnic. I wish there was more room (or less electrical equipment) but I get that that cannot really be helped. Overall, Love Circle is a wonderful spot for a romantic picnic date! read more

When I was younger, I used to come here with friends and lay atop the air conditioning cages. This was back before they put fences around the cages. You could sit ever so slightly higher on the hill and look out at the city as it slept, listening to lovers and drug dealers mumbling on opposite sides of the hill. Occasionally a motorcycle cop would putz by, I assume mainly to be unmistakable to all that it was couple of cops, but I don't know. I did Tai Chi on the hill 10 years ago, 40 minutes before the sun poked its head up over the horizon. There's a shade of sky I've only ever noticed at that hour on that hill, and all I can say is I think that's the hour and the time that the color for Starry Night was inspired. I don't know really who I would suggest this place to. I think it's a place you find, and you find it at the right time or it's just a pile of dirt, transmissions towers, and razor-wire surrounded caged air conditioner vents in a hill next to a solid door that looks nothing at all like a nuclear fallout shelter entrance. What's a real shame is that you have these beautiful nighttime/off hour views and experiences here and the next stop is either home or waffle house. read more

Ok it's love circle y'all. Just take a guess at what you are supposed to do here. I mean after say 9pm. Every town has got one of these places right? It's got a beautiful view of downtown, there isn't a lot of foot traffic or traffic in general, and it's kind of a fun little urban adventure to drive up there. So, if I am still not being clear about love circle and what it is here's my advice for after dinner. Eat an Altoids, slather on a little lip gloss, offer to show this love interest of yours Nashville at it's best, and get some frisky on!!! read more

By far my favorite spot to see the Nashville skyline. Its one of those great 'hidden' spots in town that you'd never find unless you went with someone who knew how to get there. Love Circle is a small mostly empty plot of public land on the top of a hill slightly aside West End Ave. The road that provides access is narrow and windy and quite a few houses can be found on it. Its surprisingly quiet here even though its adjacent to two major roadways. This is a great place to take a blanket, a bottle of wine, and your favorite person to relax, or bring a picnic along and make it a night. Its also a offers a great shot of the Nashville skyline and its my favorite place to watch the big 4th of July fireworks show. On warm nights, Love Circle can get pretty populated and parking is really difficult due to the narrowness of the road. A good tip would be to park in some of the neighborhoods below and walk up to the top of the hill (don't wear heels if you're a female hah). read more

I first visited in the heart of summer, and it truly a unique place. There is no place in Nashville like it. The most impressive thing about it is the mesa-like flat top of Love Circle. Even though you're in the middle of a neighborhood, with construction 200 yards away, it really is quiet and almost secluded from the world around it. There's a little road surrounding the hill, and the top is easily accessible even to the slowest of walkers. Once at the top, the skyline is relatively easy to see over the foliage, though it might be a little easier in the winter. For a quiet urban getaway, Love Circle is a neat little spot. Although, a couple of benches or a picnic table might be a nice way to make it feel a little family-friendly. read more

The best place to see the sun rise over the downtown Nashville skyline in the morning if you get up in time or if you're still awake (I've seen a few of the late night stragglers up there on occasion). The view is amazing any time of the day, too. Be sure to bring a blanket if you want to sit down, as there are no benches or other seats. read more

This is just a great place in Nashville to head to sit back relax and breathe. There is one small tiny bench to sit down on if your a lucky person you can get that bench for who your with to sit on. But be careful about sitting around anywhere else. Because this place is so called "make out hill top" there is cigarette and cigar buds EVERYWHERE! As well as broken beer bottles everywhere I looked. So seriously be careful where you walk, since it's extremely steep do not want to slip and fall down on glass. There is absolutely no parking anywhere on the hill top, there's signs and surveillance cameras all over the place, so if you plan on staying awhile you'll need to do a bit of hiking, you'll need to park on the main street and climb your way up a spiral to the top. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the city at night which I'm sure was a gorgeous view but I did see during the day time which was an amazing view anyway. Only about a 2.5 mile drive out if the city but one heck of trek up to the top, I only stayed for a few minutes so I parked my car all the way up to the top but if you aren't used to driving hills it's quite an interesting journey. (I'm from Florida) regardless, it is amazing up there! read more

Alright, so this place technically isn't a business of any sort. It isn't even technically a park, though it is public property. But regardless of its defiance of categorization, it's still worth mentioning as one of the best spots in town to view the skyline. The entire area surrounding Love Circle is very lovely. It's a quaint and popular neighborhood that's only minutes from downtown, and the people seem quite nice. There are often people walking, picnicking or just hanging out atop the hill at Love Circle, and it's easy to see why. It's one of the highest points in the city, and there's a clear view of downtown as well as miles and miles of the surrounding area. There is a radio tower at the top of Love Circle as well as some other utility boxes and equipment, but other than that you'll just find a perfect view and a patch of grass. It's honestly a perfect spot to bring a date or to just go admire the view for yourself. read more

This is the best view of the city and it's a drive up view. Dog friendly and a great place to bring a picnic.

The view from Love Circle Park is one of the best! Park closes at 9:00 PM, so get there early to see the city lights. If you are there during the day, the view is panoramic, north, south, east, and west as far as you can see. The hill is steep, but not if you ride up on an electric bicycle! http://www.questbicycle.com/2014/12/love-circle.html read more

Great location and good place for pictures with a view of the city skyline in the background. We also went to see the fireworks here. The bad part is city equipment as well as cell phone towers. I wish the city kept it as a park instead of stringing a bunch of barb wire. read more

It was a bit smaller at the top of the hill from what I was told. Outstanding view of downtown Nashville though. Good quiet place to sit and think or read a book. read more

A perfect place for a picnic or sunset/sunrise watching. That being said, I cannot give it five stars due to the cops constantly patrolling it past dark and the overabundance of couples making out. You can find a better, secluded place for stargazing at a park in Nashville, but Love Circle's still a great place during the day. read more

Love Circle holds so many memories of my teenage years. My friends and I spend so much time here. The view is amazing, and it's just a very cool place to be. I'd love to live in one of the nearby homes. I recommend anyone who lives in or around, or visits Nashville to make sure and take the little trip to Love Circle. Day or night, you'll be so glad you did! read more

It was pretty cool. Hard to get to at first since my GPS tried to take me up a private road, but it was nice to finally get up there and see the skyline. It's a pretty good view, but I wouldn't call it truly breathtaking or anything. It was also a bit wet and overcast, so maybe I didn't get it's full worth. If you're chillin in Nashville though, I would definitely stop by. read more

Simple spot, really just a high point hill in the middle of a neighborhood topped with some fenced in energy towers. Not really a convenient place to park, but simple pull to the side of the road for a quick stop and enjoy the great view of Nashville. I wished someone had told us about this place before our last day so we could have checked out a sunrise or sunset or evening view of the town. Plenty of signs warn you that the park is closed 9 p.m. - 6 a.m. to curb the youth looking to party at night, but I would have loved an evening view from here. read more

Really easy to find, great views of the city. It wasn't too crowded- some people were just reading books or picnicking, others were taking photos of the skyline. Highly recommended to all visitors to Nashville! read more

I honestly don't see what people like about this place. The view is certainly nice, and you can sit on the grass, but it is marred by all the electrical equipment at the peak, the crowd of high school students furthering their romantic pursuits, and occasionally John Rich next door creating a ruckus. I brought a friend up to show her the stars and lights, and ended up crowding with the literally dozen couples making out. Percy Warner is better for looking at stars. The Shelby Bridge is better for looking at the city lights. While they don't add up together like at Love Circle, you're also not having to listen to foreplay or country music. read more
