We are using this fab duo for our wedding in February and are already thrilled with our choice of photographers! Our engagement photo session turned out beautifully and I couldn't imagine having more fun! As I am now just starting to come down from the wedding high from last weekend, I wanted to make sure I gave a follow up review for these 2. AGAIN - Beyond expectations. Brittney and Shana were there for every moment on my day, running around like crazy to capture it all. They arrived early to the venue to set up the photobooth, and were then right on their way to meet us at the hotel for the "getting ready" shots. Having 2 photographers on the team made this very easy, as Brittney was one of the girls and Shana rode along with the guys...I know that none of the details are going to be missed. I'm sure they were bouncing around to get all the perfect shots, but the last thing they were was in the way. They are photography ninjas. They made downtown Waltham look like a picturesque fairytale setting in the one sneak-peak photo I've gotten so far, so I know I'm not going to be disappointed when they send the whole project. I cannot stress enough how much of a joy these two were to work with, and we were lucky enough to do this three times between my sister's wedding, our engagement shoot and our wedding. They are just downright fun and easygoing people that take the awkwardness of getting your picture taking a gagillion times away. Hiring Brittney and Shana was without a doubt the best decision my husband and I could have made in regards to wedding photography. As an artist, I had very high expectations and demands when looking for a wedding photographer. After sifting through hundreds, I found Love & Perry. I was thrilled when they agreed (and were excited about) shooting my New Years Eve wedding. Brittney and Shana are artists in every sense of the word. They have SKILL not just talent. It is important to note the difference. You want to hire a photographer who is actively progressing in their skills and abilities. From the time we hired them to the time of our wedding their skills had increased dramatically (I didn't think it was possible.) and we ended up getting photos back that were beyond anything that we were expecting. Brittney and Shana were extremely easy to get along with and very professional. After our engagement session I couldn't stop talking to my fiance about how Brittney and Shana made me feel. As a woman who does not have the highest self confidence, Brittney and Shana seriously made me feel beautiful. This isn't something I felt very often, so it definitely stood out to me. They are genuinely kind ladies who will make you feel very comfortable in front of the camera even if you are camera shy. The day of the wedding they arrived on time (I think even a little early) and began shooting right away. They caught the whole wedding in such a perfect way. Worth. It. We had both an engagement photo shoot and our wedding shot by Love + Perry photography and films. They made the process easy, were very relaxed throughout it and helped us remain comfortable and look amazing. The photos are beyond professional- they are truly art and all of our friends and family have oood and awwwd at the photos. We've only seen the sneak peak photos for the wedding and you can already tell they captured the unique feel of the wedding and us as a couple. They are great guides about where to look, how to stand, whether or not to smile, and are just really really good at what they do. You also could hardly tell they were there when taking the photos. They were expert ninjas at taking the photos and didn't get in anyone's way, which I really appreciated. They kept a sense of humor and ease throughout their photography time. Any shyness or fears about being photographed simply melted away for both of us. Hiring Love + Perry was the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. They exceeded our expectations before, during and after the actual wedding and were a pleasure to work with every step of the way. They're talented, creative and fun. Everyone LOVES the pictures, including us. The complimentary engagement photo shoot was also great for getting to know Brittany and Shana. We actually flew them to a remote island in the Gulf of Mexico for our wedding and they were still more reasonably priced than the local Southwest Florida photographers. I honestly don't even know what to say about these two. I can't even talk about how amazing they are without my heart feeling full to bursting. Brittney and Shana have to be the most talented photographers ever. Their work is stunningly beautiful, but you can look at their website to see that. The best part about these ladies are that they are truly two of the very best people we've met. I could go on and on about what wonderful people these two are, but onto the photos! I fell in love with their work over a year ago and sent them an email to check their availability. Upon hearing that they were open for our date, I set up a call. I spoke with Shana for MAYBE 15 minutes. When I hung up I called my mom and said "Oh my goodness, I love them. Is it weird to book them?". Whether it was weird or not, I did. And it was the best decision I could have made. We didn't get to meet until June 2013 for the engagement shoot. I was terribly nervous, but within 10 minutes with these two I felt like I was with old friends. We had a fantastic time with them! When the photos went up I was completely speechless. They were perfection. We received so many compliments, it was unbelievable. At the wedding, Brittney and Shana were accommodating, professional, efficient, and such. a. blast. Seriously. First, these ladies know how to get a shot like no one's business. We got our family formals done so speedily (which is what I wanted!). They had scouted out the venue and were ready with multiple places to get photos of the two of us so, even though we shot in several locations, they had us back in time for the end of the cocktail hour. We went out a few more times with them to get more shots throughout the night, and each time it was comfortable and super efficient. During the whole event people were coming up to us to tell us two things: 1) Your photographers are so cool/nice/awesome (duh!) 2) Your photographers are like ninjas Seriously, ninjas. What I mean is that they are everywhere at once but they are never invasive. You never knew they were there unless they wanted you to know. What was amazing about this is that everyone was having a great time without worrying about having their picture taken (which makes for the best candids!). I've been to weddings where you feel the photographer is always in your face - Brittney and Shana are the complete opposite. Ninjas. One last thing of note: these ladies have some serious style. Now I know that might not seem important, but I've been to weddings where the photographer is sloppy or underdressed and they stick out like a sore thumb. Not these two!
