He ended up chipping his nail so he needed them cut ASAP! I went into Cheryl's today to have his nails cut.I came in as a walk-in and was warmly greeted by employees. I explained my pup needed his nails cut and shared with them that I've had bad experiences at petsmart. They took him over to the table and trimmed his nails and checked his ears. They said petsmart also failed to clean/pluck his ears! So I asked them to go ahead and do so. I had a great experience, they seem to really care about the health and well-being of their furry customers. They also give ur pup a little treat bag at the end of their visit. They only charged me 10$! I will definitely be bringing my pup from now on!

He always looks and feels great when he gets groomed by her, and she is so sweet to him. The next time was to stay for a day of boarding. Waylon has boarded at other places in the past, but it had been a while and we wanted to ease him into it. We had a tour of the whole facility, and were able to see the different places that he would be during his stay. There are different types of rooms to choose from, and I love that the one we picked gave him access to his own private balcony, he was in heaven! Each dog get a little cot to sleep on, and we brought a small blanket for him from home. I absolutely LOVE that in every room there is a camera, and you download an application on your phone so you can see your pup at all times if they are in the building, even when they are getting groomed. I recently went out of town for 11 days and couldn't take my tiny sidekick with me. For an extra fee, they read him a bedtime story every night, sent me emails with photos throughout the time I was gone, gave him a report card when I picked him up and gave Waylon a social media shoutout with photos! When I went to get him, he was happy and tail waggy! The whole facility is clean and wonderful and has cute artwork. The staff are all so helpful, and you can tell they really love animals. I am so glad to have found somewhere that will spoil my Waylon when I am away!!

We received him back cut EXTREMELY low (which they always go too low hence why we called and requested it) the receptionist was horrible. No compassion no empathy and actually quite rude. We asked is there a way we can at least get a discount on our next service being that we've been loyal customers and the cut was not right. "We don't do that here" I suggest to my mom we may have to get another groomer and she stated "well, whatever that's fine and hung up the phone" I wasn't even talking to her... customer service is rude and the quality of work is a representation of the people that work there.

I was taking her to PetSmart but they would keep her all day and only bathe her and clip her nails. At Happy Tails in Hope Mills, it was much closer to my home first of all, and they bathe, brush, shave paw pads, trim/ grind nails, and brush her teeth all for the same price that I was paying at PetSmart. The products that Happy tails used seem to smell nicer and help last longer rather than contribute to a dirt buildup like some products can, and my dog's paws have never looked better! Very nice workers and a very clean dog! We love it! I now have two pix mixes with reactive skin, they both love Miguel! He always finds a way to work my dogs in when they need it and will even schedule weeks in advance for them. They are always very happy to see him and very happy when I pick them up. Happy to say that we have been consistent monthly customers for the past two years.
