Found Lou's on Yelp....they lived up to their reviews. Absolutely beautiful arraignment....as good or better than the website picture. Price was fair. Transaction was easy. We're in from NY and they had the arrangement delivered to our hotel on time as requested upon ordering. If you find yourself near St Pete FL, Lou's is highly recommended. Thanks for helping me celebrate my wife's birthday....she absolutely loved the flowers. John. read more

Christina and her staff do an amazing job of putting floral bouquets for any occasion together. Every year for my birthday, my husband brings my Irish vase to her, and she puts an arrangement of green carnations in the vase. We have been using Lou's Florist for the past seven years, since we moved back to South Pasadena. Would recommend this flower shop any day of the week. read more

The team at Lou's Florist was great and yuck to respond throughout the entire process. The flowers were exactly what I wanted and they took the time to understand what I wanted and to suggest options to not trigger the groom's allergies. They delivered and set up the flowers beautifully. read more

I went to Lou's Florist to buy an arrangement for my Daughter in law who was at the hospital having a procedure as their first baby did not have a heartbeat at 12 weeks. I was devastated and crying and the older woman working there SHOCKED me by saying " I can't believe you are allowing them to do that, there are laws you know." I cannot believe she said that or why but I cancelled my order and will NEVER go back. What a horrible thing to say to a grieving grandmother!! read more

So impressed with their kindness and skills! I was getting married and went in for some flowers that I planned to take home and arrange for the next day. They insisted on making me a bouquet 90 minutes before they closed. The bouquet was so 'me' and absolutely beautiful! Thank you, Lou's!! read more

My daughter was visiting and her boyfriend wanted to send flowers for her birthday. Lou's florist was close to my condo and I went in to speak to them. With direction from the BF, I explained what he wanted. The arrangement exceeded what I expected. It was gorgeous!! The flowers have lasted over a week and still look good. They were wonderful to deal with, courteous and very friendly. i thought we got excellent value for the amount spent. read more

Absolutely the most beautiful roses you will ever see! Large fragrant blooms beautifully arranged. My pale peach roses stayed fresh for ten days! My sister used to send them to me, the owner understood and chose the same pale peach color, she even called after delivery to make sure I liked them, and suggested I mist the blooms. So kind and a great value for such gorgeous flowers. read more

Beautiful arrangement. Same day delivery. Very accommodating when I made an error on the online order. Will be my go-to florist.

Some FTD florists have FTD pricing and then less expensive locals/direct purchase/walk-in pricing, others don't; this florist is the latter. The arrangements all looked great, but the prices seemed a bit high, and after comparing to FTD's website, they matched up. For items that aren't part of the FTD selection, the pricing was a bit more appropriate and just moderately high, which you can probably attribute to this being the beach where tourist pricing is common. In any case, this is not a particularly large florist, at least from what you can see when you walk in. Their cooler only had perhaps ten pre-made arrangements and a bunch of miscellaneous flowers for used in filling orders; and that was all there was room for. If you're looking for something more exotic, my guess is they'd need time to order and put the arrangement together rather than being able to fill it same day. I was looking for something simple and didn't want to spend a lot of money, so I settled on two dozen short stem mixed color (none red) roses bagged (no vase) for $25 + tax. Edit: three days later, my $25 of roses were dead. I live ten minutes away so I had them home, stems cut and in water within fifteen minutes of purchase, yet they still wilted over in three days. Not particularly happy; fresh flowers typically last about a week for me, so these were not fresh. Dropping a star. read more

Ordered Valentine's Day Flowers after calling and asking if they could handle the extra delivery. Told YES they can fulfil the order. Paid $104 for what should have been a beautiful arrangement for Valentine's Day. I am very disappointed with the service recieved, and at this point would just prefer to get a full refund. read more

Great customer service went in for a specific flower I struggled to find. Will be my new ranunculus place!

We had a wonderful experience with Lou's. We arrived in Clearwater on a Thursday for a friend's wedding on Saturday and learned that we needed to get flowers for the aisle and arbor for the wedding. Lou's was recommended by our hotel. Christina, the manager, was unbelievably helpful. She got flowers to match the bridal bouquet and created two beautiful pieces for the arbor. She provided fabric and explained how to set everything up. She had four other weddings that weekend and still gave us her full attention, the flowers were top quality as was her design for the bouquets. Definitely a five star experience! read more

What an amazing job Lou's Florist did for our Dad's memorial service at Bay Pines National Cemetery. The standing spray of red, white, and blue flowers was so full and they added the patriotic ribbon, American Flags and lots of greenery too. I also ordered a matching basket and they added the personal touches to fit Dad's personality so perfectly. They even put Pop Pop on the ribbon which is what the grandchildren called Dad. I went in person and drove from Tampa to describe what I wanted in a very tearful conversation. They were all so caring and compassionate about our recent loss. They exceeded my expectations. Thank you Lou's from the bottom of our families hearts. read more

A very dear friend of mine was having a special birthday today and I wanted them to have the most perfect flower arrangement possible. I researched several florists in the area as I live in JAX, FL, and did not know of one, personally. I chose Lou's and I am SO glad I did! I worked with Christina, told her my wishes, and the arrangement she created exceeded my expectations. I didn't get to smell it but based on the flowers she used, I am sure it smells Heavenly! This is now MY go-to florist for this area of Florida. Thank you SO much, Christina!! read more

This is not the Lou's Florist that was in business on St Pete Beach for so many years. This Lou's may have bought the business and the name but they do not have the beautiful plants and fresh flowers that Lou's on St Pete Beach always had. The woman sold me eight iris that never opened and had to be thrown away., I rarely bother to post a review like this but the flowers were for my mother's birthday and we were incredibly disappointed. When looking for healthy fresh flowers go somewhere else! read more

Just spectacular job! My Valentine roses are beautiful and the added small pink flowers (rather than baby breath) makes them extra special!

Well, I would give a review of the flowers had this business been able to follow through with any communications or provide an estimate. I called three weeks ago and spoke to Christina about ordering 2 table arrangements for a memorial luncheon. She said it was a good time to plan ahead as our delivery date (Dec 3)was the beginning of their busy season. After answering her questions, she requested the table dimensions. I told her I would get the measurements and call back the next day. I did so, and left the information with a colleague. I also sent them an email with pictures of arrangements I was inspired by for her to be able to make an estimate of cost as well as table dimensions AND a description of the room the memorial would be held. I heard nothing for days. I then wrote an email requesting a response for its receipt. After not hearing anything about my request for an estimate of cost, I called the business. Christina answered and said she would give me an estimate the next day as she was not at her desk. That was 5 days ago. I have heard nothing. Clearly this florist is too busy to take on work. It is concerning that they are that disorganized. I would advise any prospective client to be aware of the inability to complete simple tasks such as putting together an price/invoice for two table arrangements even when given AMPLE notice (1 month). Busy or not, that is a red flag. 2 stars because the girl who took the call for the requested table measurements was very pleasant and professional. read more

I used Lou's Florist for a fancy birthday dinner held at Parkshore Grill in their Wine Cellar. Christina provided four gorgeous arrangements for the long dinner table. She also provided some smaller arrangements and even votive candle holders with flowers. Christina has such a good taste, that when I need something I can give her the colors and theme and trust her to create something tasteful and beautiful. Christina came to the restaurant shortly before the dinner and dressed the table with the arrangements. When I first walked into the venue - it was stunning. I highly recommend Lou's Florist. read more
