I had ordered an arrangement for a friend, unfortunately my friend left town, unexpectedly, prior to the flowers being delivered. The arrangement was pretty but didn't tolerate spending the weekend on the porch very well. But Mandy, was over-the-top on graciousness and generosity. Calling from Chicago to Tennessee...I searched 6 different florists in the area of Loudon, TN before 1 finally answered their phone!! It is always disconcerting when you go to order long distance not know what will be received on the other end. I highly recommend West End Florist. First off when I called the phone...it rang 6 times and I didn't want to hang up - and a person answered and said he was a "neighbor merchant" and said hold on while I get the owner. I thought WOW, that was nice of him. They must have a great relationship between the 2 or they are in the same building. Impressive. 2nd When I found their website their images and selections were beautiful and very affordable. 3rd When the owner Joy came to the phone, she was pleasant and very helpful in picking the right bouquet (comparing images from the internet) to send to my sister who just got out of ICU and was home resting. I found a bouquet that wasn't a complete set all roses and I thought out loud: "I'd like all roses, so I'm sure the price will be more...right?" Joy replied, and said, it's ok - we can do it at that price." 4th She was very through asking a few questions, like if someone was home to receive the flowers and quite frankly I wasn't sure...so she suggested a later delivery, which was great. 4th I called Joy back to tell her sister was already home and she said, "we will deliver right away!" The bouquet was so beautiful and my sister loved it...said it was very fresh and smelled wonderful! I would use them in future and did rec them to my sister who lives 15-20 min from the this shop. I ordered flowers for my mom on line (www.loudonwestendflorist.com) as west end is in the town where she lives. not only did they remember her prefered flowers (better than her daughter!) - the boquet was fresh, not scent overwhelming or did the scents clash! i love the fact this owner has a contact name/number on the web site so you can contact him directly if there are concerns, etc. i prefer using local vendors when possible - i'm very pleased with my experience with west end. the flowers were perfect. keep up the great work! read more

We ordered flowers from Michigan for a funeral in Madisonville, Tenn. The funeral was a very close family member so we ordered arrangements on Tripods. I don't think the florist thought we would be at the funeral otherwise I am sure they would have put more effort into these arrangements. We tried to contact the florist to fix this and they did not return our call, then we spoke to an employee who said we needed to speak to David, we have left three messages now and have not received a call back. I am extremely disappointed and would advise anyone considering this florist to choose someone else. read more

My father passed away about 2 weeks ago, after having been in the hospital for about 2 weeks. In that time, since was first in he hospital, countless people have ordered flowers either through this shop, or through ftd, which then forwarded the money and orders to this shop. Most of the orders have never been acknowledged, confirmed, or delivered. They are aware of the reason for the deliveries, yet make no attempt to provide timely delivery. It is absolutely abhorrent that my family needs to track down orders from people that expected us to receive the flowers. read more

Yesterday a dozen red roses was sent to my address with a very ugly arrangement of drooping, crushed and prickly dried up leaves and stuff around the roses. The order was placed from out of town so I called to inquire about the roses and the office manager hung up on me....Do not order your flowers here or you may receive this kind of service. read more
