Second my daughter was diagnosed as clinically depressed or possibly bipolar within 30 minutes of sitting in their chair. During this visit Rebecca went through messages between my daughter and I saying I was trying to gas light her then offering her medication. My daughter lives with me is on my insurance and under my care. I have truly been in deep thought wondering if its normal practice to analyze, pick apart then demean a custodial parent? Especially when said child is doing negative things that can endanger their life or image? Since this fiasco my best friend/daughter who was in chaos because she had survived a hurricane 5 and her whole town was destroyed including our home has decided to move out, and not talk to us anymore. She is unemotional toward us and her sisters who idolized her. I had contacted the office complaining about the situation. I was contacted by Rebecca who in turn told me the office didn't violate any laws because A) my daughter is 17 and B) Because my mom who is not her parent said it was ok but Rebecca had decided to terminate the patient contract. Which is weird why would they do that if no one was in the wrong? Rebecca then called my mom and spoke with her for over 15 minutes discussing my child and her care. Rebecca then in turn offered over the phone counselling to my child. Since everything has taken the turn that it has I contacted the office asking for a email so I could be discrete and give them a update on how counsellors shouldn't fuel angsty teens fires while disrespecting their parents or maybe just get parents permission before treatment. So since this strange establishment doesn't like to contact custodial parents asking permission to diagnose then medicate their child after one session They don't have a website or email And their management doesn't like to return calls

While she is said to be a…read morevery good child psychiatric doctor, she lacks the ability to communicate with adult patients in an effectually manner. What has already been said is true: "Dr. Ninon Germain is rude, condescending, dismissive, cold, unsympathetic, aloof, unapproachable, distant, and sometimes, comes across as a narcissistic personality. She speaks very quickly and often spends the majority of the visit on (staring at) her computer, instead of being PRESENT with the patient. Her chart notes are obnoxiously defensive and pick patients apart in an incredibly cruel way." Her mis or bad diagnosis cost me and my family brought great hardship.

Theresa Pesceck had me put on bipolar and schizophrenia medication when I had only went to her for…read moredepression, she put me on 3 different medications with heavy dosages which gave me severe anger outbursts and brain fog, it worsened my already severe learning disability and made me gain over 30lbs while on it. She tried convincing me into taking Lamotrigine, depakote, zyprexa, risperdal but I never went on it and when I told her the medications I was taking were making it worse she did not discuss decreasing the dose but instead put me on a third medication at the age of 16! She prescribed me lithium carbonate and while I was on it she never referred me to get my lithium levels checked the whole year I was forced on these toxins! I also asked Theresa a million times for a referral for disability services or therapy and she NEVER ONCE OBLIGED, the last few times I was forced to see her she was over 35-40 minutes late, her excuse? "Another patient needed more time." 18 times in a row. DO NOT GO HERE, THEY WILL MISHANDLE MEDICATIONS AND CAUSE YOU SEVERE HEALTH PROBLEMS WITHOUT A CARE IN THE WORLD BECAUSE ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MONEY.

I was never put on medication that worked for me because I was never listened to. The dosage he had me on with my medication wasn't even a high enough dosage for the medication to be doing anything. Very frustrating after he had watched me go through many struggles and difficulties in my life and still couldn't figure out how to help me. I've recently been seeing a new psychiatrist and it took her one appointment to figure it out. She listened to me and I did not feel like I was being told how to feel. I called today and , the same secretary answered the phone, she makes fun of my appointment, she simple repeated you dont have any appointment . I asked talking to somebody else, the same experience, but she did not mocked; she was "listening" . Kathryn,…read morestarted off by stating his diagnosis (labeling him) and proceeded to ask more about his mental health over the years. She was snarky with every word that came out of her mouth. She was unprofessional very condescending and made him feel worse about himself than he already did. He ended up walking out of the appointment. It felt like she was intentionally trying to set him off. It's pathetic that here someone is trying to stay on top of their meds, trying to do the right thing and they can't even get a decent provider anywhere in the state they live in. The mental health system in Idaho is garbage and even ppl that work high up in the state will tell you Idaho has nothing to offer for mental health. I would never return to this office again.

My second appointment was the worst experience I have ever had with a medical professional, I was ready to walk out within the first 10 minutes but had already paid $250(!!) for the appointment. When I arrived for the appointment Heather had no interest in listening to my input or opinions. She was extremely confrontational and rude to any remark I had to say. She provided zero trust and did the complete opposite of my requests. Our visit made me feel 10 times worse about myself and my medical future. Instead of providing helpful solutions she pushed me and prescribed me medications that I did not want to take.
