The Radiance of the Seas is an older ship compared to some of the other ships in their fleet. A few things were a bit disappointing. The size of their pools was insufficient for the number of people who wanted to get in. Everyone who went in appeared to be tightly packed together, which in no way seemed relaxing to me. I also felt that at times, the quality of food was inconsistent. Some days the food was really good, while other times, we left most of it on the plate. I am grateful for our waiters, Leah & Brian. Despite the circumstances, they remained professional, kind, and accommodating. They made a great team! Lastly, the size of the bathrooms in the stateroom was very small and uncomfortable to maneuver. That being said, some of the more enjoyable experiences included the games hosted in the main theater, outdoor movie screenings, the freshly pressed juices, and having access to the well-equipped gym. I also loved the live musicians, scavenger hunts, and the fantastic cruise director. Jerry was awesome! He was funny, animated, and kept us entertained throughout the entire trip. Some things to consider: *The refreshment package is worth getting if you're going to get lattes, smoothies, and juices. You can get sodas if you like, but you must ask for a can, if not, they'll give you watered-down fountain beverages. *You can set a time for room service to straighten up your room but don't expect to get new sheets unless you specifically ask for them. I appreciate that the staff is very attentive, providing clean towels, creating those cute animals out of towels, and providing daily itineraries, I just wish that they were more detailed with the little things. In the future, I would still sail with Royal Caribbean, but more likely on one of their newer ships. All in all, this was a fun vacation and a wonderful way to celebrate my sister's birthday.

There are plenty of seats and a restroom onboard. There's also snacks and beverages available for purchase. There's 16 stops that you can hop on and off or you can also just stay on for the entire ride. The water taxi stopped that place like Sparkman Wharf and Armature Works. I really enjoyed this experience and would recommended for anyone visiting Tampa. Shout out to Becca, Reed, and Ronan for making the experience great!

When I located the dock, I was maybe the 5th or 6th person there and none of us were really sure we were in the right place (maybe put a sign up?). Unfortunately, due to the captain not making any announcement as to what tour or company he was with, I was the last person on the boat and got stuck sitting in the roasting sun with no canopy. I spent most of the tour with my purse and tote bag over my arms trying to avoid a sunburn. The captain was informative when we got going, and I appreciated the offer of free water to everyone on board (you don't want anyone passing out). Lots of info about Native American and early settler history, and the buildings on the skyline. We saw the Gasparilla pirate ship, the actual war ship American Victory, the hotel turned college built by Henry B. Plant, the Tampa Riverwalk, and celebrity homes like Derek Jeter's place the size of a department store. Despite the heat, it was great to be out on the water and in fresh air. I hope the tour company will consider telling patrons that they may end up in direct sunlight for 1.5 hours and to dress for that possibility. The ride to the Skyway Bridge was beautiful and the water and weather were all working in our favor. It was a relaxing ride and we saw a couple of pods of Dolphins. We felt we could reach out and touch them. As we got to the skyway and turned towards shore, the captain asked if we would like to sail, which we did for a while. It was spectacular. The catamaran was beautiful, clean, comfy and cozy. We were briefed on where to find the lifejackets and there was a small raft on the aft. I cannot say enough about this truly wonderful crew and Boat "Sweet Escape ". I highly recommend and will use them again! Thank you guys for a truly amazing time. My family was blown away.
